THE EPOCH TIMES reports that an amateur photographer snapped two dragon shape creatures when flying over the Himalaya - the abode of snow.

The amateur snapper had been to a rail laying ceremony and caught a plane from the place formerly known as the Dalai Lama's abode on his way back to China.

The pics, on the web site, here, don't look much like dragons to us, but as the first hexagram of the I Ching oracle says "arrogant dragons have cause to repent," we're not going to stake our life on it.

The same page reports that a black dragon fell to earth in China in August 1944, and had a "strong fishy smell" attached to it.

Well, yes...

Both "dragons" are in the bottom-lefthand corners of the images.

These look like photo manipulations to me, what do you guys think?

Related news suggests a "dragon-like" skull found in South Dakota:

The museum said the pachycephalosaur family is marked by dragon-like heads covered with horns, knobs and bumps.

A pickled baby dragon was also found in England. A whole fake story was made about it, which even managed to fool The History Channel, which published the fake story about the dragon without a disclaimer in it's documentary "Questing for Dragons".
It ended up that the real story was a publicity stunt to sell a book about the fake story.
(Googling my a** off wouldn't reveal a link to the "Questing for Dragons" Documentary on THC, but I saw it on TV twice, so I know it exists. It's possible that the documentary is too old to be listed anymore on their site, although it's only been a few weeks).

Since there wasn't much discussion going on about normal gay stuff, perhaps if we dwelled in the fantasy/sci-fi things I could unearth some of you to talk about things. smile

I think the first two dragons just look like pretty cirrus clouds and the skull and the baby look like rubbish attempts. It'd be cool to own the fake baby dragon though. Any conversation in here is appreciated. I've been quite bored as I've been sick with nothing to do.

[EDIT]: or contrail clouds formed by jet engines.

I think the real one looks cooler. The fake one is a little too fantasy modelled to believe.

They look like manipulations to me.

The first one looks like two tails touching near the end, if so wouldn't they have to be flying pretty close to eachother? Also Chinese dragons are typically long serpents with arms and legs, and they usually don't have wings in that depiction. So it's one thing to talk about dragons but it's another to claim these "real" creatures fly without wings. Also notice how they are just below the clouds, to me they looks like big mountain ranges below, but the angle and maybe the light make it seem they're just touching the clouds, but then again the mountains are so tall, maybe the clouds are touching the range. Or we could go with the old photo manipulation, which is always and often a possibility.

It also looks like it would be awfully heavy for something with a long serpentine neck.

Right when I saw that skull I almost laughed. "Pachycephalosaurs!" So-called ancient and modern Chinese records of "dragon bones" and other fantastical creatures are usually from things like dinosaur bones or, like someone mentioned, misinterpretations or forged photographs in tabloids. To me, whatever that is in the corner, doesn't seem to have any mode of propulsion, like a floating serpent.

And the riding a dragon... I just don't want to know. stare
