My heart goes out to the Washington Redskins, and to all of Sean Taylor's friends and family. His team played hard after his death, and they struggled to win, but in the end they couldn't keep it. However, it was a valiant effort. The NFL lost someone with great potential, his family lost a caring father, and his friends lost a great companion.
The worst part about his death is that he was killed by 4 men who were breaking into the house to rob them. They didn't know Sean Taylor and his family were going to be home.
When you watch the Redskins, let your heart go out to them and to their lost teammate - Sean Taylor, number 21.

Agreed. Shock and Sadness.
Good tribute by the NFL, present in all games, but bad Redskin schedule planning.
...A Sunday game to start it off, then a Thursday night game, 3 days after the funeral. Can I hear some rescheduling?...I mean, the NFL Network is killing the NFL tradition.

Yeah, that really was aweful for the Redskins. Did you see the crowd in the stadium? Almost everyone was crying. That was so sad...

They offered to move the game and the Skins said no. Thats what Cooly said on the radio this morning.

He said that they wanted to get back to work. I'm sure that hitting someone as hard as you can makes you feel better

He said that they wanted to get back to work. I'm sure that hitting someone as hard as you can makes you feel betterI bet that wasn't their intention...but the Redskins did play a great emotional game. They commanded the game, and it seemed closer than it really was, with Campbell's fumble, and 2 or 3 missed FGs. Portis, Cooley, and T. Collins played great.
