Shadow Fleets is a new RP guild that is set in it's own universe. It is a freeform player driven RP meaning that your actions will effect the universe as a whole. If you don't like where the GM is leading you to then just walk off. There is no set story for you to fallow. You have an uncanny amount of freedom to, just about, whatever you want.
The RP is set in the future where Humans have developed faster then light travel and have colonized worlds. The Worlds broke into four major powers and began to fight one another. Earth and it's allies destroyed themselves with super weapons that inadvertently opened dimensional rifts on their homes. Without Earth's Empire the remaining three Civilizations are duking it out for control of the universe.
This is where the RP begins. As a player you can pick to join one of the three main military powers, be a normal civilian, plunder the final frontier as a space pirate, or whatever else you can think of. You get skills that define your characters talents, and abilities. With an open world you can be an AereMar Battleship commander, or a simple Empire Marine. The RP can bend into what you need it to be.
The World of Shadow Fleets is still being created today. By joining now you will set the rules of the universe and shape it with your own hands. The guild can accommodate most RPers, and while a war RP it could be shaped into a political one. The possibilities are as endless as the amount of bad advertising I put in this post!
