Allright, looks like we are going to have another chuunin exams start very shortly.
So, we ARE going to run things a little differently this time. Seeing as we'll have quite a few guests from the Getsugakure village participate this time around, we want to make it a little more interesting.
As for teams, I will decide teams acting through Konoha (and I'll leave any other leaders to decide theirs). Anyone who still needs a partner can post it, and you can team up from there, whether you're short one person, or need an entire team.
The first rounds will go in three-man squads. The final test will be entirely on your own.
We're still in the process of making the exams, but we will announce a starting date shortly.

Chuunin exams have temporarily been postponed, due to proctor's busy schedules.

We're looking at revamping the chuunin exams. So, hold on a little longer, and we should have a prospective date shortly.

Registration has closed. Any other people registering will be moved to the waiting list, and will fill in a spot if a character does not check in.
You have until SUNDAY 9PM Pacific (MIDNIGHT EASTERN) to check in.

Since our number of competitors passing onto the finals is very large, we've decided that we're going to have a semi-finals match.
This will take place just like the finals tournament, taking place inside the Tower in the forest of death.
The tournament will begin one week after the team tourney has finished.
To remind everyone, the team tourney ends on FRIDAY, MARCH 14TH, AT 9PM PACIFIC (MIDNIGHT EASTERN). All teams who have achieved both scrolls should report to the tower before the Semi-Finals begin.
The Semi-Final tourney is set to start on FRIDAY, MARCH 21ST, AT 9AM PACIFIC (NOON EASTERN).
SPECIAL NOTE:
Along with the fifteen competitors already guaranteed a spot, FIVE MORE will be made exception to the tourney. Anyone that did exceptionally well, and is recommended by a proctor will be put into a vote from any of the competitors and/or spectators who posted in the spectator thread.
More information will come on that later. Keep an eye out, and keep fighting, genin!

Proctors: When at least TWO OUT OF THE THREE MATCHES per group are finished, please try and finish evaluations for the matches that are finished. It's done by the best two out of three, so if there isn't a need to fight any longer, please let them know, since they're reaching their last few days to accumulate the scrolls they need to reach the tower.
GENIN: If there is a need for you to TRADE or GIVE AWAY duplicate scrolls, an empty sector has been added for you to meet, trade, or fight for the duplicates. But, remember, you've only got about five days to finish matches.
That does not mean that you can't approach the tower within the week (the break after all FIGHTS are over.)
It would be a smart idea to look over the other sectors and figure out who else has those scrolls you need.
AND:
If a head proctor (a canon character stationed in your sector) has passed their judgement on the match, and the assistant proctor has not turned in their ruling within 24 hours, then the winners of the canon-proctor's ruling may pass on. But, we DO STILL NEED THE ASSISTANT PROCTOR EVALS DONE. We'll need them during the week break, to be able to assemble teams for the semifinals.
Semifinal matches should be arranged by rank. (Total points out of sixty merited from your team tourney fight). If we don't recieve an assistant proctor eval, then the canon-proctor's score given will be doubled.

Okay, some last-minute reminders:
ALL FIGHTS END TONIGHT AT 9PM PACIFIC (MIDNIGHT EASTERN).
However, since all the proctors are not finished, you are just not permitted to fight any more, but you can still approach the tower once you have been cleared by a proctor.
PROCTORS, YOU HAVE UNTIL WEDNESDAY, MARCH 19TH TO POST YOUR EVALUATIONS. I can't even stress how crucial this is. Just try to get them done, folks.
After being cleared, you have until SUNDAY, MARCH 23RD at 9PM PACIFIC (MIDNIGHT EASTERN) to approach the tower. All members can show up, but it's required that at least ONE represent the scrolls by that time. (If someone can't make it, then it's all good, but we need at least one from your team to register yourself.)
The Semi-Final round will begin on MONDAY, MARCH 24TH (DATE CHANGE!) at 9AM (NOON EASTERN), and matchups should be posted directly before then.

All fights are concluded as of 9PM last night. Any posts that were made after that are considered invalid.
Proctors have until wednesday to turn in their proctor evals, and PLEEEEEEASE get them to us as soon as possible.
You are still allowed to trade scrolls and wander around in the threads (character development, yay!) until Thursday. Teams should be at the tower by then, and those threads will be locked.
And YES, you can start posting in Konoha again while you're waiting for the semi-finals.

The fights have been chosen! Semi-Final rounds are marked, and the threads in the forest of death have been locked. However, we're leaving the tower and the spectator's thread open.
SPECTATORS: You may directly view and post in character in whichever match you're watching, or you can stay in the Spectator's thread. If you're a combatant, these matches take place one after the other, so you'd return to the balcony to watch another fight. (Don't worry too much about being taken away for hospitalization or anything, we won't mind too much about a character that's not supposed to be there.)
COMBATANTS: Your fights are marked for you! You may report to your appropriate section, but make sure you read the extra rules in the third post of your thread.
PROCTORS: New proctor evaluations will be coming out shortly. These won't be as complex and intricate as the last, but they will still revolve around the stronger author/character winning the match, not necessarily which character would "win" the match. You'll recieve details on that later. And, same as last time, I'd like one canon proctor and one new proctor per each match. All proctors, PM me and you can get a request on your match.
