Hitsuka noticed some movement in the distance and leaped down from her branch casting a cloud of dust from the dirt below. Bobbing her tail with slight excitement she dashed through the thick of the trees and bushes in search for the cause of movement she had seen just before. She didn't know if it was even worth the effort but it was the first sign of anything in about fifteen minutes and she just wanted to hunt something.
Coming to a slow she sniffed the air for any clue of what may be about, shifting the dirt under her paws silently. Stopping behind a bush she sat down and peered over the corner to see a female moose and her baby grazing on the vegetation below them. Grinning with excitement and placing her ears back with the intent to pounce she sized up her pray and planned out a battle strategy.
Lowering to the ground she flicked her tail with the intense thoughts running through her mind and readied herself to pounce. Moving sightly closer to the two animals she leaped out and dug her claws into the cow's hide, pulling herself closer to it's neck. Flailing around wildly with the attacker on it's back the moose began to kick and buck it's head around for an attempt to harm the hunting Ulaya, whaling right into it's baby's side causing it to knock unconscious.
Finally getting a hold of the neck Hitsuka wrestled it to the ground, closing off it's wind pipe and making it black out. Holding her position for a while longer just to make sure it was dead she lifted her jaws and walked over to the unconscious child before digging her teeth into it's neck as well. After making sure they were both dead Hitsuka lay down on her stomach and rested some to catch her breath before eating one of them.

Houka:Finally finding a good location to have his fight. Houka turned on the spot and waited for his follower to enter the opening. After several minutes of waiting the cougar jumped out of the bushes coming to a stop several steps away from houka.
Circling to the right the two start the deadly dance one that always get his blood flowing. The cat-like creature took the first swing scratching across houka's face drawing blood. This just made the fight that more enjoyable for this is the only way that he would have it. As the blood dripped down his face houka lept into an attack of his own. First slashing out at the cougars right side while snapping his jaws towards the right side of the on coming animal.
Claws sinking deep in the shoulder of the feline he knew that the fight was just about won. With just a little bit to much confident he let his guard down as the animals jaws clenched tightly on the claw that had struck it. Loving how this fight was turning out he went for the killing blow reaching out his jaw for the flesh he missed the neck as the creature pulled back.
Giggling slightly at the enjoyment that he was having he picked up the speed of the battle. Lunging forward with his jaws open digging deeply in to the fleshy part of his neck. Tugging with all his might he sensed the smell of death fall over his prey.
Dropping the food to the ground he started to look around for anyone that might try to steal his kill. Confident that there is no one around he starts to rip the flesh off the feline creature. Having devoured all of the animal he falls down to the ground for a small little nap before heading back to his base of operations.

Hitsuka opened her eyes and looked around the area for any scavengers that my want to steal her fresh kills. Stretching with a large yawn she stood up in her place and slowly stepped over to the baby moose and looked down at it's blood stained pelt. Lowering her head Hitsuka bit into the small animal's stomach revealing all of it's insides and casting blood to flow all over the ground. Ripping off some of the flesh she raised her head as the skin snapped apart splashing blood all over her neck and shoulder area. Chewing the meaty meal she finished the bite with a slurp of the skin sliding the last of it into her vicious jaws.
Mealing on the small moose was pleasant for her, she enjoyed eating an innocent creature under the watchful eyes of worried squirrels and birds from above, wondering if they were next on the menu. Hitsuka felt like she was on top of the world, the highest on the food chain and that nobody could stop her from casting such pain and agony upon creatures as pitiful and stupid as these moose. Finishing off the body with a fresh bite through the heart, Hitsu began to groom her fur to get some of the sprayed blood off her own pelt. Her beauty must be apparent for stains of tainted blood is nothing she wants touching her for too long. She felt as pure as ever being the spawn of Satan himself and wasting her time and energy on minuscule creatures such as those in these woods was a disgrace to her heritage and has to be erased at all chances possible.
Finishing up her grooming Hitsuka stood up and wrapped her mouth around the mother moose's neck and started tugging it back to her brother. Figuring he didn't catch much and he was probably rather hungry she ate the baby and saved the adult for later. By the time she made it back Hitsuka would have worked up another appetite and will then enjoy the flesh of the cow. Pulling it behind her she left marking in the ground, telling all who approach that she has a large and magnificent kill. She was ready to defend it for nothing in this forest could match her in strength and skill, nothing.

Houka: After several minutes of undisturbed pleasure the sound of a scavengers told houka that it was time to start back to the tower. Enjoying the blood that starting to soak in to his fur, he licked at the fresh wounds for they are going to make great scars in the future. When he returned to the ruins he slipped into the fresh water so that he doesn't upset his pristine sister. Wondering what happened to hitsuka he circles the area trying to figure out where she is hiding. Seeing that she has left the area he looks for the best place to settle in for a good nights sleep. Seeing that the sun was starting to set and the cold was something that he despised. Finding the warmest part of the ruins and curled up in to a ball. Listening for his sibling to return he closes his eyes for the nap that he was hoping for earlier till he was interrupted.
