Metallic claws scraped roughly against gravel as Gunzi stretched his body out, muscles tingling as they loosened. Almost sulkily he traveled outside the dense forest that ended just at the cities edge. Once again he’d gotten too caught up in the chase, the thrill, and had left an opportunity for his would-have-been lunch to escape. Scoffing to himself unconsciously his mood perked slightly as he moved deeper into the city, a continuous click-click following him as metal met concrete. A lopsided grin plastered itself across his muzzle. The constant going-ons of the city never ceased to keep him amused, hunger completely pushed from his mind.

Haru looked around him, confused. He knew where he was just a minute ago... but seemed to have got himself lost somehow. The city was a big place, and he was the type to get lost easily. His stomach grumbled, and he looked down towards it, mildly amused. I guess I haven't eaten anything at all today...
Rather than worrying about getting himself un-lost, he decided he had better find something to eat.

A glower of distaste settled in place as piercing eyes scanned the area. Which was, to his dislike, decidedly lacking in company. Despite the temptation to simply return to the brushy forest, the far off low rumble of city sounds held him in place. Giving the area a quick cursory glance he pushed forward - after all he might find something even more fun to amuse himself with here than back in the green brush.
His scowl deepened slightly at the sight of another ulaya. So then, this place was not his alone to prowl. Tilting his head slightly Gunzi tested the air - either way, he couldn’t sense the presence of a pack anywhere near. Then this ulaya was on its own?
Turning his head slightly he gazed upon the other curiously, a note of surprise in his eyes directed towards the other. He'd never before seen another that donned clothes the same as he. Every other he'd encountered up till now had come across appearing rather dull and far too normal looking for his taste.

Quietly walking up a street, Haru wasn't paying attention to where he was going. (As usual.) Instead, he was thinking about all the things he would like to be eating. Some rabbit would be nice... with some mushrooms and roots. Or maybe pheasant would be better. Or possibly both. His stomach growled again, interrupting his thoughts. At any rate I need to find something quickly. He looked up then, to see if a rabbit or pheasant would magically appear somewhere close to him.
What he saw surprised him. He wasn't standing too far from another Ulaya.
"Oh uhh, hello. Do you have any food?" He asked, cocking his head to the side.

He hadn’t expected the other to be first to initiate conversation, or acknowledge his presence at all. Most others would simply avoid him altogether.
Shifting his weight, ear twitching as the screeching of metal against stone reminded him why exactly that was.
“No…” He grinned, giving the other a once over “I suggest you start making a better effort of soliciting others for food. Wouldn’t want to get that white coat of yours dirty with a hunt.” Flicking his tail to emphasize the ‘conversations’ end Gunzi swept past the other, eyes rolling towards the heavens. Another all looks and no sense ulaya. Wonderful.

Oh good, he must be showing me where to find some. Haru smiled as the other Ulaya passed him by, and turned around himself to follow. How nice to meet a new friend!
"My name is Haru, what's yours?" He asked, trotting to close the space between them.

Gunzi blinked slowly, baffled, his thoughts conflicting with whether he should outright laugh or simply ram his head to the ground a good few times. He cant be serious…
“It’s… Gunzi.” He gave the other – Haru, he corrected – a questioning look before continuing on. Perhaps he’s simply going the same way as me, his mind provided Yes, that had to be it.

"Gunzi then? That's a nice name." Haru smiled at Gunzi's back, and continued to follow. He wasn't sure where they were going, but at least he wasn't lost by himself anymore.
"So where are we off to?" He didn't really want to know where they were going, since he couldn't really remember where he had been heading in the first place. He just felt awkward walking in silence.

Twisting his head back to give a halfhearted glare at the other, Gunzi let out a sigh which bordered on a growl. “We are off to no where. However I am heading back to my forest. Where you won’t follow me to if you don’t want to get that little coat of yours smeared up with dirt.”
Pivoting, Gunzi made a point to scrape his metal claws threateningly across the concrete, leaving thin indentations along the sidewalk.
Much to Gunzis’ chagrin he somehow always managed to run into the air-headed ones. Giving a sideways glance toward Haru he had to forcibly wipe the grin from his muzzle – at least Haru wasn’t the worst ulaya he could have run into.

Haru bowed his head. Rejection hurt. Never one for giving up, he tried a different approach. "Those are some interesting claws. Were you born with them?"
He hoped this Ulaya wouldn't leave him alone. He didn't mind being lost if he had some company.

Gunzi felt a small pang as Haru looked down dejectedly. In truth he hadn’t meant to be quite so harsh about Haru following him; He wasn’t exactly the best socializer after all. And certainly not the most refined.
A smile ghosted across his muzzle as Haru tried to plunged him into a conversation once again. Perhaps he had misjudged him, read too much from appearances alone. But honestly, why so much damn white?
“No,” shaking his head slightly, “They’re simply wrapped on.” Falling back slightly so he now walked more beside Haru then in front – He never did like not being able to see another while in their presence – Gunzi turned a curious eye to the other. “Don’t you have somewhere to go? Normal ulaya wouldn’t wonder aimlessly around a city.”

"They're cool looking." Haru said, a smile spreading across his face at the other's change in heart.
"I think I was heading somewhere particular, but I got distracted when I noticed I was hungry. So now I can't remember where I was going." His stomach growled then to emphasize his point.
"So what are you doing in the city?" He asked.
