If it's any consolation, this exact quote was featured on Fundies Say The Darndest Things a while ago!
For those of you who haven't heard of it, FSTDT is a collection of quotes from crazy religious fundamentalists all over the internet. It's basically a place where you can look at, laugh at, and sometimes cry at the horrible things people have said.

Oh my - ever since you linked that site it has become my secret addiction!
I think I need a 12-step plan to kick the habit, now. sweatdrop

*laughs* I pretty much quit cold turkey. I try to avoid it, because it gets really freaking depressing.

Check this out:
Quote:
I offer no apology for saying that there is not one person sitting in a prison cell anywhere in the world who committed an act worse than performing abortions.

So, if you rape fifty little girls, torture them, kill them, and eat their bodies for supper, your crime isn't as bad as performing an abortion? Interesting...

quick thing if you're feeling mischevious... (because the mood in here is so clogged with anger from the stupidity of these sites...)

every year (around September or October, so people can do it in school)
the pro-lifers have a "Day of silence" when they refuse to speak and hand out flyers about how abortion "silences" thousands of possible beings every year.

so just go up to one and "acidentally" drop something heavy on their foot.
as far as I know, if a fetus has been "silenced", that means they can't cry out in pain. twisted

Nah, I'd just have a Day of Choice. The only people being "silenced" in our society are women who have had abortions and abortion providers, and the pro-life day of silence only serves to further stigmatize them. Besides, they blatantly stole the idea from the original day of silence, which was to bring awareness to anti-GLBT bullying and the silencing of gay people.

Next thing you know, they'll steal SADD's "Grim Reaper Day" where the "Grim Reaper" goes to classes, takes out students who agreed in advance to participate, then they paint their faces and wear masks and stay silent, so they're "dead," and it symbolizes people who are killed due to drunk driving.

I could see pro-lifers taking this idea and using it to symbolize "what it would be like if these people were aborted!!!"

Some dumbass

Finally, if the argument is that men shouldn’t be allowed to participate simply because they can’t get pregnant, what about women who can’t get pregnant? Should only young, sexually active, fertile women who are not practicing birth control be allowed to have an opinion about abortion?

What about a 14-year-old girl who finds herself pregnant?

No 14-year-old girl ever “found” herself pregnant. She got pregnant. This deceptive rhetoric is intended to rationalize abortion by projecting women as victims of their pregnancies rather than participants in them.

Some dumbass wrote that the majority of women who have abortions are younger. Like teens...

You don't ******** participate in an unwanted pregnancy. It's just there, not asked for, not wanted. It's bad luck, a bad decision, or sometimes, you WERE the victim of a rape. It's scary, it's life-threatening. It is like being a victim.

And what the ******** is that about placing blame on 14-year-old girls? Did the a*****e also say that since they had sex, they should be forced to take care of a child at 14?! Because Prop. 73 (proprosed parental consent law in California) propaganda that was delivered to my home blatantly said that with Prop. 73, parents would be able to force their 13-year-olds to have kids.
