Ok i didnt write this poem but i LOVE it, its by Realm Waters
Used To Be
I'm afraid
That even though it dosen't show
You will see the cracks running up my arms
And then
You'll know
One day you will look and see my broken smile
My bleeding heart
And me dragging the pile
Of all the pieces
Of what i want you to see
Of what i used to be
I remain the fearful
End no one will ever know
This, friend, is why
I will never let you get to close
Can i be fixed
...Or am I to broken?
I will stay silent
My secrets unspoken
Close your eyes, love
Please, do not see
Anything
But what i used to be

I love this poem i saw it on a poetry board in school and i "borrowed" it. Now its my favorite and i used it in a panting that i did for art class, i was gonna post the painting but i cant find it sad .
