[Shadow.Elven-mage] And power-hungry Slytherin loved those of great ambition...|> ---|Mooby: I love the American version of The Office, but it's still based on an English original (which I have not seen but which has Ricky Gervais in it so it can't be bad, can it?)
(Plus, how could you not love those UK accents?)|--- <|Slytherin Pride! Like Faust was based on Dr. Faustus? The American version has Steve Carrel. And Scranton jokes.

[Ralph] I only eat baked chips...I just like the crunch better. Ruffled, BBQ, regular and baked Doritos (but like BB said, I don't classify them as chips) especially.
Sun Chips are the best, though. Harvest Cheddar ftw!
I like Salt and Vinegar on occasion but they're still good. I just can't eat too many without my tongue, like, going numb. Oh baked are good too. I almost forgot about them. They're almost as good as Olestra chips. Sun Chips are awesome, but I think Garden Salsa>Harvest Cheddar> anything else.

Wasn't there a legend that they were both based on?|--- <|Slytherin Pride! Marlowe took the story of Faust in a the opposite direction that Goethe did in Dr. Faustus. (at least I'm told he did.) I've read Dr. Faustus, but I've never read Faust so it would seem that I'm not much help. On another hand: These chains of Mephistopheles, I wear them all the time.

Yes, TI is more right than the dude with the English degree. WAY TO GO, BB!
And yes, there was an older legend, which Faustus was definitely based on. I believe that Faust was a take off Faustus, but I'm not 100% on that.
