What had drawn Panchira out in the open, he was not sure, but he was very glad for it. Because now, rather than being tucked away in his claimed space in the Mountain HQ building, the somewhat creepy and vaguely crazy son of Maru and Moro was skittering about in the sunlight, purring at its warmth and marveling at the feel of the grass beneath his paws. What would he do, during this newfound, if temporary, freedom from his willing confines to the indoors? Perhaps wreak a little havoc, stir a little trouble, cause a little madness... or maybe he would just take the time to himself, to see, to smell, to hear, to taste, to touch... So many options! He hadn't a clue what to do!

Bravery and Sunday were two things that didn't really mix, honestly; being the second oldest in the household aside from the perma-kit, Tuuli, Sunny had more than her fair share of experience in dealing with the cheery kit, most of which involved having to listen to stories of horror and suspense, scaring the yellow female out of her wits. The arrival of others had done to partially allay these fears of things that bump in the night and other assorted creatures, but the adult normal wasn't particularly ever up to the challenge of being, well, a grown-up and to stop jumping at every unusual sound.
It was just one of those things that'd take an inherently long time to get over, Monday had once mused (Sunday has asked him what he meant by that, but the starry male simply shrugged and resumed his usual silence).
Padding along lightly, the female stopped momentarily at the sound of another, wondering if she had wandered a bit too far, into the path of someone perhaps not too friendly. Or maybe she was in the way of someone in general? What if this was a private path, and she was trespassing?
Glancing around, Sunday attempted to catch sight of whomever it was that was moving around. "H-hello...?" the yellow kitsu called out.

Ah, what was that? A voice!
Panchira paused and looked around for the source, ears perked and tails waving in an excited manner. What luck! The chance to bump into someone else whilst taking his brief adventure into the world! He immediately emitted a happy sound, prancing further along the path in hopes of seeing the who or what that had spoken.
"Hello, hello! Who is there, if I may ask, hm?" he called out, searching for any sign of another - and there! A flash of yellow, and his eyes widened slightly as he paused and took in the other kitsusagi that stood before him on the path. "Was it you who greeted me so, little sunspot?"

Well, now- Panchira certainly looked like Sunday had met before, only slightly different. Perhaps they were related? On the other hand, Panchira didn't seem like Ver, personality-wise. Briefly, the yellow female looked around, taking note of all possible escape routes, before nodding slowly.
"Y...yes," she finally said, crouching to the ground in a bit of a defensive move, "I didn't know you were the one I was greeting, though."
"My name is Sunday, by the way..." the female said cautiously, "Um...who are you, though?"
Sunny paused. "Um...if you want to tell me your name, anyways. It's okay if you don't."

"Now, now, Sunspot, why would I mind giving my name out?" Panchira asked, looking rather confused, before simply grinning and stepping a bit closer. He could feel the nervousness coming off of the other, almost, and so didn't want to risk scaring her off, but he did want to get a bit closer, so the conversation wasn't quite so distant.
"I'm Panchira, dear one, and you may just call me Pan, if you so choose. Sunday, though, Sunday is a curious name... A day of the week, is it not? Very intriguing."

"Because some people don't want their name to be known?" Sunday offered, not really certain herself, "I don't know...I just thought, um...that maybe..."
The female shook her head, deciding not to finish that thought, and instead commented on the name he was calling her. "Sunspot? That's...a new one," she said, having finally accepted that Tuuli would eternally be referring to as 'Sunny' or 'Sunny D'.
"It's...nice to meet you, though, Panchira...um...Pan," the kitsu said, nodding. As for her name? "Um...yes, I guess so..." Sunday replied, "There's someone back home named Monday, too."
