I haven't been been buying cards since Labyrinth of Nightmare (Yes, I am THAT old-school. I bought most Metal Raider and Pharhaoh's Servant @_@) and I was wondering what is the diffrence between normal Yugi cards and GX cards. Does it matter? Can you still use them in tournaments?

yes you can but if you play advanced format you will have to look at the forbidden/limited lists since alot of cards wont be allowed in decks, Except if you play Traditional
the difference is most old cards suck and most new cards rock

they are the same thing. they just call them gx cards cause a lot of the cards are from the YugiohGX cartoon
