Katherine noded some. "It could just be me. Maybe I have drank to much but it felt real." She let go of him then her hand going to touch her neck rembmering how it felt. A shiver ran through her with haveing to face Alastor, even if it wasn't Alastor.

Matachi looked at her as he was worried about her "Are you okay?" He asked as he looked at her lifting the wine bottle to feel it wasn't even near the empty mark

Katherine noded some and then she happend to smell something. She should have sensed it sooner but then her senses were in a jumble from what had happend. She looked down relizeing where the smell was comeing from. Her voice became a whisperd tone. "Something is over there." Meaning the place in the floor that opened into the caves it was the bodies she could smell.

No more mapmakers came into her cave. No more were in the tunnels except for one. He was chained up in her cave, a slave for winning her cruel game. The one left alive was the youngest. Only 19. Before she finished blocking up the tunnel, she left a note by the door up to the castle. It apologized for the smell, but it gave her reasoning for blocking it up with bodies. She knew of few humans who would go somewhere what smell so strongly of dead and rotting flesh. Several other tunnels were blocked the same way, and she mentioned that as well in the note. There was not much hope it would be found, but there was some.

Matachi looked at her "Show me." He said not smelling anything exactly "What is it." He said

Katherine moved to the trap door openeing it carefully. The smell would then fully rise in the air as she saw the bodies blocking the way she put her hand to her nose and mouth trying to block it out and step away.

Matachi looked at her as he too smelt it but he was use to death and simply shrugged it off "Why was this put here?" He asked as he looked down into the bodies

"Because someone doesn't know how to dispose of her food." She walked up to the door shutting it back. "I am going to dress for a ride out to see her will you go get our horses ready?" She spoke. She looked slightly botherd by this turn of events but it needed done.

Matachi nodded and left her thinking something was knocked loose in her head, but he wasn't going to say that to her. He walked towards the stables thinking. There was no footprints or signs of anything wrong on her desk so how could he have been there as she said

The note would have been hard to see if they were not looking for it. The cloth it was written on was old and worn. The neat writing would have made it look more like an odd stone in the right light. Gabriel's new boy lay curled up on the end of her bed while she pet his hair. She heard the faint sound of the trap door, but it was muffled by stone and bodies.((edit))Had someone checked the bodies, they would have found no teeth marks. At least, none made by a vampire. She had not touched them. Man was too willing to kill fellow man if it meant saving their own life.

Katherine went upstairs trying to chase the memory out of her head already. She put on a pair of brown pants and a dark green tunic. She started to braid her hair back behinde her faceing her vanity. She knew she wasn't drunk as she placed the garter on the upper part of her leg. "Maybe its just me.."

Katherine walked down to the stables to her small bay. She mounted the small bay horse looking over to him. "It really could just be me, maybe its guilt." She spoke as she then kicked her small bay as he bolted out of the stables for the forest.

Katherine didn't stop until she was there and it was only then she relized Matachi wasn't with her. She dismounted once she was at the caves. She knew the woman would smell her as soon as she enterd. Which she did enter.
