((whoa, so that was really scary. I wrote this long message last night and thought I posted it, and then I come here today and it wasn't here. And I was like wtf? So then I was afraid that I had somehow managed to post in one of the other common rooms, and that would have been terrible! So I went and I scrolled through them looking for blue and trying not to look at what they were saying...I did a pretty good job. I guess the internet just ate my post.
So, the message in my post was: Lyra! If you want to join Rings and Ravens please do, I don't think there would be any problems with you not fitting in with the other kiddies, also we move pretty slow so I don't think it would be a huge deal as far as pressure on your time. However, I don't want it to be a burden, I want it to be fun, hokay?))
Antoinilia gives Miranda a strange look, then realizes she is still talking about hibernation. "I do like not worrying..."

Antoinilia gets out her favorite muggle machine, a tape deck and some super peppy 80's pop tapes that are very hard to come by, especially in the wizarding world. She selects one at random and pops it in.

Miranda jumps when she hears music; one of the only thinks she hasn't heard in a long time. She squeals and tries not to glomps the muggle machine. "MUSSIICCC!" Miranda squeals. She looks at Mikki and quietly laughs. "Looks like someone doesn't like it."

Mikki finally got up from her game. "No, its not that. I LUURRVV the music. It's just that everyone is goooone! And I felt lonely." Mikki traced an invisible tear down her left cheek. "It's been very slow around here lately."

J'adore la teneur. I just love the low saxs. I'd rather not play alto. I couldn't thoough, because one of my friends has my mouthpiece. I should probably get that back... Anyway, I am very excited and our band director just can't seem to tell us what part we get soon enough!!!!!!!!]]

[[I think I'm finally getting caught up. I posted the next lesson and HW in my class and I'm getting there with the HW for the classes I'm taking. Mikki: I finished HW #3 for your class, but I'm not sure if I PMed it to you. Please let me know. I studied for the midterm and have started doing it. I will finish it and get it to you as soon as I can - which may be a few days. The normal broadband internet was supposed to be installed sometime this week, but it still hasn't yet, so we're currently still using extremely slow dial-up. And we have a limited number of hours, which might run out anytime soon.]]

And I'm very angry. Only THREE people have done their midterms. It upsets me that no one is taking time to do something that I took my time to write AND correct! I mean, I understand that things can get a little busy, but come on! It only takes like, 20 minutes tops! So I had to threaten everyone. And I can almost guarentee I'll have to take points from 2 of 4 houses, including Ravenclaw, because with my luck, NO ONE will see this before 11:59 pm tonight. As I said, I'm very upset. Very.
Sorry for the vent. I had to get it out somehow, and this seemed to be the best way. And I'm ok now! biggrin See, happy! wink ]]

[[Are you saying it's rough on the houses or rough on me? I DID warn everyone. People who posted absences in the student message board will be excused for certain lessons, which may get then out of it, but it may not. There's going to be a total of 5 lessons, so they only really have to do one to avoid getting points taken. It will be rough on me, though. I'm don't like having to take points from houses, but I also don't like it when people sign up for a class and don't actually do the assignments.

I mean seriously, if you sign up for the freaking class, do your work or you ask to be taken off the list. People should take responsibility for their work. It makes me mad when they don't. I can almost guarantee there are at least 5 or 6 people who haven't done 1 assignment. Or at least it seems like it.]]
