When, suddenly, a tall brown haired teenage boy with a red fringe wearing an Aerosmith T-Shirt and a dressing gown, sipping on a cup of tea walked up to Kal and the group. "Hi." He said, finishing the tea and putting the mug on the floor, before cracking his knuckles. "ADMINICUS. AUTOMINIUM. CHUCKNORRIS." A flash of white light appeared, and our protagonists found themselves standing before a large castle, behind them a battlefield. Bryce was confused, before he looked down and suddenly knew. "Apparently we're here to see the king of Narga and ask him about what happened here, hm... okay." Bryce led the way across the drawbrige and into the towering castle.

"I think you mean the king of Ataya, only human nation on Narga," Felix reminded Bryce, rolling his eyes. "The Avians still populate most of this continent, after all, but they're not the friendliest of races."

Jinx was taken by surprised about what had happened, she quickly shook off the feeling and followed the group into the castle. "I guess everyone has their reasons, and not everyone is greedy," She pointed out to Kal.

Bryce chuckled. "Yeah, not very sociable, the flying people..." He said, beginning to walk up a small flight of stairs towards two large doors. Gorum's eyes watched the skies, and the Avians flying through them. "If one of them craps on me I'll fire myself out of a cannon at 'em and rip out their feathers..."

Throngar rolled his eyes. "They're bird-people, not birds," he reminded his brother in a growl. "Moreover, they could hear you - they're known for their hearing, you know." He immediately raised his voice over the reaction he anticipated from Gorum. "And we don't have time for you to go starting a fight with them at the moment!"

"Gee, I love how you imply there is a moment when we have time..." Felix noted from in front in a dry tone of voice. "Anyway, shush now, you two. We're just coming to the throne room..."

In said chamber, the group found Cornix II, King of Ataya, decked out in his purple robes of state. He currently appeared to be having a very anxious discussion with several of his advisers and decorate generals, presumably in relation to the carnage the company had found outside.

Kal kept his childishness too himself. He was thinking he had half the mind to throw out bird seed and watch them act like chickens; but that would be too low brow, even for him. so he just followed the other into the Throne room and said nothing.

The King looked up, startled. "Oh!" he exclaimed. "You are a Paladin, are you not? Rise, noble knight. Tell me, what has brought you and your companions here? Surely it is not to help us in our hour of great need?"

"Oh my... what a ponce," Alcharius murmured under his breath, such that only Jinx and those in her immediate vicinity would hear him.
