Inuyasha smiled gently as he held Temari close "Come on lets go rest in the tents Temari" he said as he saw the kids seemed tired too "we can all rest till tomorrow"

"Hah, yeah, she does sometimes hate that little fairy to death," Jack replied, chuckling as he walked.
"Yeah, I've got plenty of MP3s on Backpack, and he's got a speaker, so-"
"'He'?" Hotstreak questioned, cutting the other metahuman off.
Gear blinked for a second. "Yeah. He's got a speaker."
"You're talking about a robot, here!" Hotstreak protested. "A robot isn't a boy or a girl; it's just an it."

Temari yawned once more before nodding, smiling up at him. "Okay love." She whispered before they went into the tents and all fell asleep for the night.
"Motoko-chan was a robot, but now she's human because of Vyse-kun." Kirara retorted softly.
Hotomi looked up at Hotstreak, patting his forearm slightly. "If Gear wants to call his Backpack a he, then let him. Who cares?" She told him gently, not wanting to get too worked up over something that small.

"I think the others are on that, but if not, there's a town not too far from here; I can smell it. We can get enough food from there." Kirara suggested with a slight smile, rocking back and forth from the balls of her feet, to her heels and back again.
Hitomi nodded slowly as she rested her head against his shoulder once more, smiling all the while. "That sounds fine."

"Uh... Kirara, didn't you say something about taking care of the food?" Gear asked, not knowing how else to answer Hotstreak's question. They didn't really have anything, since they all jumped-ship just about as soon as they could.

"I can certainly carry enough on my back while in my beast form." Kirara told Gear with a smile before she placed her fist in her hand, in slight realization. "I'll ask Jack about it, he'll know what to do..." She said before she grabbed a hold of Gear and began to lead him towards the albino genius. "Come on..." She told him.
Hitomi just watched them walk off with slight confusion, her brow cocked. "Uhh, okay then..."

"That was weird," Hotstreak stated, bluntly.
"O-okay," Gear stuttered, a little surprised at being dragged off.
Jack and Link reentered the clearing, both of them with their arms full of rocks.

"Yeah, but at least we're alone now.." Hitomi noted with a shrug, still leaning against his shoulder.
"Sorry about that Gear." Kirara said after they were well out of ear-shot of the two. "I wanted to give them some 'alone time' as well as not leave you there alone in the awkwardness..." She then stopped Jack and grinned. "Jack-kun!" She exclaimed with a wave.

"Yup," Hotstreak agreed, still holding her hand. "No irritating gay superhero and his pet cat demon," he joked, smirking softly.
"Hey, guys. What's up?" Jack asked, continuing to head to the center of the clearing, near where the wood was piled up.
"Well, we were thinking about throwing a party, of sorts," Gear replied, grinning. "Y'know, to get everyone's minds off of all the stuff we've been going through, lately. Ease tension and that sort of thing. But we don't have any food..."
"Lack of food is a problem, and not just because you guys wanna party," Jack agreed, reaching the center and setting the rocks down. "Oomizu's doing some fishing. Maybe one or two more could do that, or see if you can do any hunting. There might be a fruit tree or some veggies growing nearby, but it's not likely you'd find any. I suppose your best bet would be to zip on over the mountain to the downed ship, and see what you can get out of the kitchen. I wouldn't advise it, though. Those other ships might still be looking for us. Which makes the idea of a party seem not so great, but whatever. We can handle them on the ground, and maybe we can swipe a few of their ships, an' make it easier to sneak into their stronghold." Why, yes, he was saying pretty much everything that came to mind.

"Oh stop," Hitomi said as she swatted his chest lightly with the back of her other hand. "They're still my friends you know..." She then just smirked before she turned, so she was before him once more, giggling lightly as she stared into his eyes.
"I can hunt!" Kirara stated proudly, "I can hunt very well actually..." She looked around for a moment, sniffing the air. "There's a lot of wildlife in these parts, I can smell them as well..."

"Well, not mine," Hotstreak replied, with a shrug. "Kirara could be, I guess, some day, but not Gear. He's only gonna see me as the crook from Dakota City. Not that I care, though," he added. "Besides, why should I care about any of that when I got a beautiful girl right here in front of me?"
"Well, there ya go!" Jack replied, grinning and giving Kirara's shoulder a pat. "Go on and get us something big. We'll got a good fire goin' by the time you get back, I'm sure. Gear, you wanna go with her?"
"Uh... I'm not so big on the killing animals thing..." Gear answered.
"Oh, you and your morals."

Kirara just rolled up her un-singed sleeve and sighed. She then cocked her head to the side, letting a nice crack be heard. "Hm, okay then." She said with a toothy grin, showing off her demon fangs. "I'll see what I can do with the fauna about us, but okay..." She said before she stepped back from the two geniuses and then became enveloped in flames, shifting into her beast form with a roar. She then turned around quickly before she bounded off into the forest at increasing speeds.
Hitomi chuckled under her breath before she let go of his hands, moving her arms upward to wrap around his neck as she continued to smirk up at him. "Well now, the feeling's mutual, but I got a handsome red-head in front of me..." She told him with a playful wink, giggling as soon as she did so.

"Oh yeah?" Hotstreak began, smirking back at her as he wrapped his arms around her. "And what do you think we should do about our situations?"
"Good luck!" Gear called after Kirara, not sure if she would hear it or not.
"You gonna help me an' Link get this circle set up for the fire, or what?" Jack asked, squatted down as he began arranging the stones.
