"Just said don't panic..." Farley placed his hands on her shoulders. "Just look at me and keep calm Lirria. It happened quick, so probably not." He said with a smile, he'd hope his answer would be enough for her to calm herself.

Later...

"Yeeep, you're pregnant alright, Lirria." Said Arteria, she had managed to get her job back at the Breeding Home in the area. Her work was helping lives, rather than destroying them. It was what she wanted all along.

"Can you run it again?"

"I ran it eleven times already Farley, my verdict is final." She groaned, why couldn't they just accept that they sparked life?

He sighed, how he wished she could be wrong just once. But no, she developed a technique that was 99.8% correct. That was a strong two percent, if it was there, it would had shown up already. If Lirria didn't pull him into a hug, he sure would had pulled her into one. "Ready or not, we'll have to be. I'm scared too, but we have to be strong." He kissed her cheek and hugged her endearingly. Could he really be a father?

A smile crept up his face, he understood now they had to be strong for each other. He rose from his seat, soon helping Lirria from hers. "Yeah, nice to know we have nine months to get prepare."

Arteria cleared her throat. "Actually, because Lirria's a Duon, you better make that eighteen months to go through."

"...Say what?" He blinked, he was unaware that's how it worked for Duon's. Farley turned to Lirria. "Eighteen months?"

Arteria shook her head. "Afraid not. To give you the short setup, Duon wombs are locked to that specific ideal time. Naturally child you make will be born a Duon themselves. For Breeders it's different, the child takes the race of it's real mother, despite how long it takes for the breeder to give birth. Medicine is given to the breeders so that the children are born safely and the children are given medicine themselves. You won't believe the difficulty of getting a Qautarion child from a Uni breeder safely. It seems more trouble to me then it's worth. Oh sorry, went off on a tangent there." She explained, she was deeply embarrassed about saying more than necessary.

She left Farley's head spinning. "Right, so naturally, the kids will always be born to the race of the mother. Artificially you have to got through hoops and ladders, got it! Well, I think she covered everything for us."

"Nothing too strenuous, which means hold off on active battles and leave that fully on your husband and the guild warriors. You're carrying a normal child after all, your sister fought after circumstance, not to mention she had an armor that helped her move and protect her child. And of course the other circumstances." She explained to Lirria. "You can be told more later, run along now. You have work to do." She said with a smile.

Taking Lirria's hand, Farley walked her out of the medical room and down the halls of the Breeding Home. "Parent's, we're going to be parents. No one's going to believe this."

Farley returned her smile, wrapping and arm around her and hold her hand with his other. "That's a great idea."

Some months down the line...

"Mina, the point of this was to teach them how to raise a child. They can't do that if you don't hand her to your sister."

Eric was grunting, trying to separate the mother and daughter. They were attached at the hip, granted they were attached before, but that was besides the point. Eric had created this grand scheme and he intended to see it fulfilled. He decided to help Lirria and Farley by lending their niece to them for a week, if they could survive it, they could lose all parental fears. Problem was Mina wouldn't let go of her daughter, she didn't look at it the same way as he had.

"This is almost as bad as when we had to get Mina to stop nursing her..." Thought Eric, this could be a problem. "She loves her Aunty Lirria and Uncle Farls,she'll be okay. I promise, you can trust your sister to keep her safe and show her just as much love as you." He placed his hands on Mina's shoulders. "It won't be forever, it's for a good reason. Please Mina, let her go, just this once."

"Don't scare aunty and uncle too much, Nina. You'll have another playmate soon, so teach em that it's not so bad." He gave her a little tickle, and then handed her over to Lirria. "I'm sure Mina told you what everything is and where in her baby bag?"

"Only a thousand times, why is this thing so heavy?!" Complained Farly, why he could barely lift it off the ground!
