Katherine looked up to him. "Matachi I.." She hadn't ment for him to hear that and truely didn't know how to respond to him now. She looked back to the work and set the quil down. She looked back up not knowing what to say really. "I am sorry.."

Tadashi sat in the back off a bar, like he always did when he didn't have work. He opened his eyes when he heard someone walk up to him. "Are you Shadow of Death?" The man asked. "Who wants to know?" Asked Tadashi. "This is who," The man put a large back of money on the table. "I need you kill the king or the queen. It doesn't matter which." Said the man. "The king or queen? You'll need a lot more money then that. The man put three more bags on the table. "Now that's what I'm talkin' about." Tadashi grabbed the four bags and started to walk out of the bar. Grabing a knife on a near by table he said. "Oh yeah, never let me have all the money before the job is over." He then threw the knife at the mans head. Impaling him between the eyes. Tadashi walked out and jumped to the roof tops.

Matachi looked at her "Hun...I trust you never think I don't I am just trying to smooth things out and not be worried about what you do with other people even if it bothers me...since I can't control your life." He said looking at her

Katherine looked back down. "I never thought i had done anything wrong," Katherine's purple eyes looked across the hall to see if anyone else was there then she looked back up to him. Her soft fragile voice was a bit of a whisper. "I made her think something that wasn't true we needed at the time all the support we could get you know that. I didn't mean to make it be.. what she said it was."

Katherine looked away down to her hands she felt sick why did he always have this effect on her. She sighed softly just buying time to pick her words out. "I might have let her think that was a part of it, but I never thought it would cause a problem with us and i never thought she would make it public knowledge. It was bad that she did, I have never met anyone with less disgression." The last part she spoke off handly.

"Of course not." She smiled. "I was drinking that night i made her think i had passed out." She picked back up the quil and went back to work. "Suprised I have more self persivation than that?" She spoke playfully.

Xlet looked over ever report that had been given to him since the war started. the scale was tipping to much to be ignored any more and by the looks of things they wouldn't be tipping back any time soon. 'i'll have to take things into my own hands' he though as he racked a pale hand threw his black hair and leaned back in his chair. he looked around his office that was in the highest chambers of the Church that he was loyal to. it's was fairly small with all the papers that where every where, small scales that tipped back and forth with each deed done by people. 'i might intervene' he growled to him self. Justice was not being served and the balance was out of hand because of it.
He slowly stood up, ready to leave his office when the white elaborate doors opened and one of the members walked in holding a note. he nodded slightly as then left and he opened the scroll. he sigh and relaxed slightly. 'one battle won, scales tip slightly' he though though he knew he wasn't enough to balance it out. he would have to see the queen and speak with her about the injustice and the balance being threatened.
He left his office and headed to the castle not far from the church, thinking over every thing that he would have to bring up with the lady and what would have to be done to change the scales for the better. his red brown eyes scanned the area around him as he steped out of the church and headed for the castle.

Matachi smirked at her before walking around the table gently kissing her "Nice one hun." He said as he backed away adjusting his tunic abit as he watched her work "So the temple outside the castle, hehe, sorry ruins of it, are being removed so it should only be a few days." He said smiling

Tadashi landed on a window sill, where he figured the king and queen were. He was right, and he silently opened the window. "Sorry to inerrupt, but I have information that might be of great concern to you two." Tadashi grinned. "And I'm willing to give it to you, for a price."

Matachi turned putting his hand on the hilt of his sword that sat upon his back. He looked at the man not noticing him "First off who are you." He said sternly to him looking at him with the eyes of someone who's seen death of war. His temptation for the sidiion power pinched at the back of his neck

Katherine had smiled and then she herd the other voice she stood up at once from her work. Her hand going by her leg. She shot a glance to Matachi and then towards the other man it took a moment for her mind to process the words she was mainly thinking about someone comeing in a window in the main hall, that wasn't good but not supriseing most of the city was cleaning up and not worried about invaders. A slight smile spread across her lips. "You will have to make a better offer than that." She spoke mildly.
The castle walls were open. Not many people were awake at this time, more so not many would have stopped the high priest comeing to the castle. The walls lead into the court yard on one side held training grounds on the other a lovely garden. The main path would lead up to the doors of the main hall.
