Fisshu McKenzie felt the hairs on the back of her neck prickle. She didn't turn to look at him. What assumptions he has... "I may not fully understand your particular bond, but I do know the feeling of sacrificing everything, even my life, for a person I love." She stood, back straight, as her eyes trailed up the stairs toward her dorm room. Faith... I can see that you are an honorable woman. I admire and respect that. Anyone would be lucky to have you as a friend. I hope that you will be mine. *He walked around in front of her so he could look her in the eye* If it makes you feel more secure, you may tie me up and watch me for an hour or so, seeing how you had a recent ordeal involving polyjuice potion.

As for friendship... I think only time will tell."

However, if you wish, you can still watch me like a hawk watching a mouse. *He offered his hand for her to shake* And I do hope we can be friends. I don't have very many...

She glanced around the room, noting the clock. She swore under her breath. "I'm gonna be late for class." She looked back at him, her eyes still intense. "Come with me. You'll take notes for Faith." She pulled her wand from her robes, summoned her books, and nudged him toward the door.

She noticed Michael drawing and couldn't help but comment. "Nice, but your proportions are slightly off. The head needs to be a bit bigger for the size body you drew." McKenzie paused in her critisism. "Sorry... habit." She scratched her head, trying to find a way to make it constructive critisism. "Um, I do like the technique you use to draw the flames though." She glanced away. "Divination is next." She stood, fidgeting slightly. Way to be a jerk Wallace.

I appreciate people's criticism, it helps me to improve my skills. *He grabbed his stuff and followed her to the next class*

McKenzie nodded and made her way to the next class, making sure to keep an eye on him the entire way there. So far there had been no change or any sign of him drinking personal liquids since she'd seen him this morning. She slowly, mostly because of Michael, made her way up the stairs to Trelawny's class room, taking a seat in the darkest corner and pulling out two pieces of parchment. This was always her doodling class. She sighed and started drawing a night scene with a wolf as the class started.

Ninjara *Michael did his best to pay attention to the instructor, but continuously found himself nodding off. Finally his head smacked the desk and a soft snore emanating from him* McKenzie jabbed him in the ribs hard enough to wake him up while simultaneously dropping her quill. Professor Trelawny looked over. Is there a problem Ms. Wallace?McKenzie made a lie up quick. "No Professor. I just dropped my quill and Michael went to get it and hit his head on the table." She forced a smile. And picked up her quill from the floor. Trelawny gave them a skeptical gaze before turning back around to help a student. McKenzie gave him a half-assed glare and whispered "You're just as bad as your sister. Draw or something to stay awake." With that she went back to her work, occassionally pulling her drawing out from behind and working on it.

"That looks like it hurts. Is it from the accident?"

It does. My leg was crushed in the wreck, the doctors did a total knee replacement, but I also suffered severe nerve and muscle damage. This helps keep my leg from buckling out from under me. Without it my leg basically looks like a limp noodle.

She scratched her head, eyes trailing up from the knee to his eyes. She looked at him intensly again, her gold eyes almost glowing in the candle light.

I've pretty much gotten used to it now. Besides, I have a kick a** walking stick. *He held up his cane and tapped the top* This end holds my wand and the bottom extends out to make the whole thing a broom. I had a lot of time on my hands so I kept myself busy developing it to perfection.
