Kotetsumaru kneels down as Teshoumaru approaches him. He turns Trinity around and lays a hand on her and her young sensei's shoulder. "What I do, and what you two will one day do, will require you to do unkind things to bad people. That wolf had lost his mind months ago. He had gone mad from the isolation. It is unfortunate, but he was beyond help."

"The Seitoukage clan exists for one purpose only. To eliminate those who are both beyond help, and a plague to humanity and our mother Earth. That wolf would have eventually made his way into the neighboring cities. There, he would have hurt the people who live there. Teshoumaru, Freya, this was a test for the both of you. You had to work together to survive, and finally overcame your fears and apprehensions to save each other. I know it seems cruel, but this isn't the sort of thing you can learn in books. Now come, let's go home and get cleaned up."

The scene fades away and Freya is standing before Trinity in the darkness. "My father could be cold at times, but never heartless. That day I learned what it would feel like when I eventually took the life of a human. The wolf threatened my brother, and refused to stop. Teshou and I followed our father's words. We only killed those who were beyond redemption. I have to say that you handled that very well. Teshou would scowl at me for saying this, but maybe you and I are alike in some ways. The next experience is going to be very different. There were no significant moments that happened over the next five years, only training my mind and body. If you feel you can do it, you are about to have five years of martial and physical training slammed into you almost all at once. Can you keep going, or would you prefer to take a break?"

Freya pulls Trinity up through a shadow into her room. The clock on the bed stand shows that only five minutes have passed since they went in.

Freya unwraps her arms from around Trinity. She takes a deep breath and sighs. "Not bad Trinity, not bad at all. How do you feel after that?"

Freya smiles warmly at Trinity. She had expected this sort of reaction from the girl. This was another test. Trinity doesn't have the right mindset to kill a living creature without pause. Even this training might not instill the killer instinct within her.

Freya sit down on the bed next to Trinity and wraps an arm around her shoulder. "Tell you what; if it comes down to it and you have to face that a*****e, you won't be doing it alone. Me and Teshou will be right there with you. If there is one thing our father taught us is to stick to your convictions. If you don't feel that you can make the final strike, even after all of the training, then you don't have too. Teshou and I have dirtied our hands more than we can completely recall."

"At some point during our time together in my head, you will learn how to use your shadow in more ways than just making pikes and traveling through them. I'll bet Teshou didn't mention that he has never beaten me in a fight, has he?" She asks with a mischievous grin.

Freya giggles and leans back on the bed with her hands. "Both actually. He just can't wrap his head around my unorthodox style of fighting. If he has one weakness, it is that he is too concerned with form. I think Bruce Lee called it "organized despair." Basically he is so set in the techniques he has learned, he has a hard time adapting to a situation in a fight. Not to worry though, 'cuz you are wandering around in my noggin. Before you know it, you'll be able to implode walls with your shadow."

Freya grins widely. She very rarely made new friends, and she likes Trinity very much. She is certain that her mother has many questions for her.

"Sounds good to me. I haven't eaten any meat in a while, and the pup in me is starting to bark." Freya hops off of the bed and stands up straight. She makes a hand sign and her shadow envelops her like a large black tepee. As quickly as it rose, it falls back again. She is now dressed in a pair of comfort fit jeans with a hole cut out for her tail, a red tank top, and a black leather jacket. Her hands and feet are wrapped in bandages like a fighter would wear.

She stretches and says, "All dressed and ready to go. Lead the way."

Leviathan cackled, wandering a step away from the stream.
The water would seem to wash over him, laying up and into the melded and strange body of Lev, glazing him in it's oily base.
Then Lev would disperse, re-forming near the elevator.
"Ooo..Looks like I'm going down."
A reverberating laugh, and Lev would sling down and into the metal doors, gone in a flash.

Eros held Lily, brushing her hair way from her face. The throb from his recently broken leg had gone now, only a dull calling card of the terrible strength of Rod..
The leg, in question, would have seemed to heal. Eros would nod a moment to himself, noting his increased capabilities in self reconstruction. A devastating break like he had suffered should have taken weeks, if not months of recovery..
But a couple of hours?
Reality hit Eros as Alix's voice entered one ear then out the other, himself dreamily staring up from his kneeling position.
Standing faster then any normal man could, Eros looked to Alix, then Lily.
Then Eros's eyes grew wide, sensing something coming, something large and supremely pissed.
"Can't explain! We must run! Run n-"
"Your not going.. anywhere.." A mechanical voice, synthesized and terrible, came from behind Alix. Rod stood, the metal beast that he was, and roared, blocking the entrance with his body completely. "First..I'm going to eat you." Rod pointed to Eros..
"Wha?" Rod looked suddenly confused, only to have an x-ray machine to the left of him slam into his upper torso and face with such force he would sling into the far wall, stumbled and distraught.
"Go!" Eros grabbed up Lily once more, suddenly zooming by Alix, catching him by the back-cuff of his shirt. From this position Eros would speed down the hall, Alix's feet no doubt skidding every other moment against the white tiles of the hospital.
From behind them, Rod could be heard cursing and tearing down more of the hospital in his attempt to kill the three..

Mrs. Smith, was glad that her daughter was still alive after that morbid message she had delivered. It had been 5 minutes since she was crying on the floor worried for her daughter's life. Now her just showing up five minutes later like nothing happened made her feel that she was made a fool of. She took a step back as Freya introduced herself formally in front of her student, she reaches out her hand and says "Mrs. Smith, how do you do? So you're Trinity's new teacher? I'm afraid I'm a little confused. About five minutes ago Trinity was warning me that she may die during some form of training. You mean you've done the training already?... and yes we could discuss further over dinner. Could you lead the way? I haven't fully learned my way around yet."

Mrs. Smith nodded at this, "I see. So she already has done some of the training? How? Only five minutes passed when I last saw her. That doesn't seem to be very much training to me, if 2 more sessions that short and she's ready for battle? I don't think she would be prepared enough to handle the threats you guys have been facing." she has a plate filled with spaghetti and meat sauce with a side salad but ignored them for a moment to look at her daughter sitting across from her. How could 3 short sessions cause her to become ready for what's out there? How could just 15 minutes get her ready to face that Leviathan creature? she has a bit of a concerned look on her face then she looks at her teacher. "I think I liked it better when your brother was teaching her. By the way, have you heard anything about him?"

Trinity quietly eats her cheeseburger as her mom tries to sort things out.
