TvIaMsOqTuHeYz Luo1304 TvIaMsOqTuHeYz Luo1304 TvIaMsOqTuHeYz Luo1304 Especially if you need to eat. Sounds like a good enough reason to learn a foreign language as any. xD You'd be surprised how many burger joints in Europe I've walked into (I'm talking like Burger King or McDonald's), and the word 'burger' itself isn't a word ANY of the cashiers understand. Just kind of had to point at the pictures of the meals. Which actually brings me to a slightly unrelated note. We in the United States have a ridiculous variety of food at any ONE fast food restaurant. In Amsterdam every burger King had six options on the menu for meals. Six. Oh, I know. That's why i know how to count to ten in several languages. xD so if I do go, I can easily just say the number and point. xD But I'm surprised that you've been able to travel so much. I want to travel someday, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to. Yeah, knowing the first ten is at least a foot in the door. I traveled a good bit up until two years ago. I'll say it's harder to find time or money for travelling once you have more responsibilities on your hands. I know, I still need to learn basic sentences like " My name is " " Can you help me " " Do you speak English/German " I say German because next school year I'm learning to speak German. xD Did you know people in these other countries, or did you simply just wing it once you got there? Did you stay in hotels, or Hostels? =D I'm learning how to speak German! biggrin German is the first language I want to learn to speak. Followed by Japanese, Spanish, and Latin. And I want to learn basic Mandarin-Chinese, Russian, and Arabic. You know like "Hello." "How are you?" "My name is..." Type stuff. My best friend says she and her husband are using Rosetta Stone to learn how to speak Japanese and she says it's easy.

I'm only learning German before Japanese because my school is offering it. xD My cousin can read and speak some Arabic. He can read it fairly easily, and speak it somewhat fluently. Yeah, I can say a couple of sentences in Japanese, but I'm still not able to read and understand it if it is spoken to me. xD Rosetta stone is what my school is going to use. ? I'm not sure if reference, or different language... sweatdrop

I said "Is it good, dear sir/ma'am" Oh, that is interesting. It is. Have you ever head the poem/story "Evangeline"? It's all about New Zealand and Louisiana. It's probably the only History I enjoy. ^_^

The one that opens with " This is the forest prime evil. " ? I kinda spaced out when my class read that one. xD

Chilling. Life's a pain y'know. I'm trying to find a job, but then the first week of summer was taken when I was elected stage manager for our seniors graduation. That was tough...

Yeah, I get that. Job hunts are terrible though, also... how large is your school to need someone to manage the senior graduation? O.o

@ the crew Could we get a portion of the profile to say Alignment? I just think it would be kinda fun. Like Lawful Evil, or Chaotic Neutral.

Alignment is determined by a person's backstory, but can change over time. We want people to play their specific character type, but not to be completely bound by it.

I understand, I just thought it would be fun, and it would make their actions more clear.
