Amalirahc pouted up at Lin. "'Side!" he said, pointing at the door. "Ah go 'side!"
Earendil chuckled and knelt next to the boy. "Where's your mother and father?" he grinned. "Where's Mama and Ada?"
The boy just pouted at him.
Haldia peered into the playroom. "Not here," she murmured.

"They're not?" Lin frowned.
She couldn't imagine the two leaving Amalirahc alone unless he snuck out when he was supposed to be napping or something.
"Maybe they're somewhere else?" she murmured.

"We better ask Haradhel," Earendil murmured, picking the boy up again and heading into the dining room.
Haradhel was there with Miyu, setting out bowls and spoons for everyone, and she looked up when the others entered the room. "Oh, there he is," she smiled. "Thanks, Earendil."
She set down the last of the bowls and moved to take the boy from Earendil.

"Where's Leyenda and Kelirhac?" Lin asked curious.
All the while she watched as Miyu hummed happily as she prepared the bowls and spoons.

"Walk," Haradhel replied, taking Amalirahc from Earendil. "Quite possibly their first alone since Amalirahc was born. Leyenda seemed a bit frazzled this morning, so I offered to look after him for the day."
Amalirahc pouted at his great grandmother until Haradhel tickled his sides and made him squeal with laughter.

"I see...." Lin nodded at this.
It made sense, it was true the two had not been without Amalirahc since he was born.
Meanwhile Miyu was scooping small amounts of ice cream into each bowl. Coming out in round funny shaped balls since she didn't have an ice cream scoop.

Haldia wandered over to Miyu to watch her scoop the ice cream. She wasn't sure about the looks of it, but she supposed that if Miyu was happy with it there really was nothing that she could say ...
Earendil smiled. "I would imagine that they would enjoy some time alone," he agreed.
Haradhel set Amalirahc down on one of the chairs by the table, and the boy immediately climbed to his feet and leaned over the table. "Nah!" he said, reaching for the bowls of ice cream.

"Not yet," Toshiro pulled the bowl that Amalirahc was reaching for, "Wait for everyone else."
Once it was done Miyu checked to see how much ice cream was left before closing it and freezing it again.
"All done."

"Ah dah!" Amalirahc cried gleefully, reaching for one of the bowls. He pulled it closer to himself and stuck his hand in the ice cream, then let out a gasp of surprise.
Earendil, Haldia and Haradhel all laughed at him.
Earendil reached out and ruffled Amalirahc's hair affectionately. "Silly boy."

Miyu giggled at that and handed him a spoon.
"Silly, you're supposed to eat it."
"Better wipe his hand first it's going to be sticky," Lin murmured.

Amalirahc took the spoon from Miyu and started chewing on the handle of it. Haradhel laughed and picked him up, then set him on her lap and took the spoon from him.
"Silly," she giggled, scooping up some of the ice cream and putting it by the boy's mouth.
Amalirahc leaned forward and closed his mouth around the ice cream. He sucked on it for a moment, spoon and all, and then he suddenly spit out the spoon - though the ice cream was no longer on it - and clamped his hands over his mouth.
"Es code! Es code!" he squealed around the food in his mouth.

"Well at least he hadn't spitted it out," Lin murmured.
That was probably the one miscalculation on Miyu's part was who was use to cold foods here?
"It's supposed to be cold," Miyu told him handing off bowls to everyone else.

Haradhel laughed. "I don't think he expected it," she grinned as the boy started panting, trying to warm up his mouth.
Earendil reached for a bowl and a spoon. "Lesson for all of us," he grinned. "Small bites."

Lin tried putting a very small amount on the spoon, all the while balancing Miyuki. She figured since it was soft and would melt into liquid it wouldn't hurt trying to give her some. She placed the spoon in front of Miyuki.
Miyuki stared at it, and then stared some more before chomping down on the spoon. She blinked a few times and began sucking it like she would a bottle.
"You have quite the grip with your mouth," Lin murmured.

"It is the strongest part of the body," Haldia spoke up, reaching for her own bowl of ice cream.
Earendil savoured his first bite, testing it out. It was ... very sweet. Delicious. And very cold.
"This is good," he grinned, taking another bite.
