I think it's been established that we all are. Well, Tifa claims to have a life. I can only take her word for it.

Reading that it sounds like I'm trying to be mean. That is not the case.

Anyhoo, Tank, ya played FFXII? There is a connection between this and MGS but I'll tell ya later.

Ah, yes. But dost we geek out aboust the same s**t? And don't worry, I'm fairly un-irkable. I take offense to nothing!

I've played XII and now I'm curious so I shall wait.

Dost the source of our geeking give way to any reasoning? And doest people always know what they are talking about? I don't, that first sentence didn't make much sense to me. And I don't either. I pretty much have no emotions whatsoever. A couple of days after Christmas, my gran died and I was liek meh. Recently I heard my friend bitching about me repeatedly and I haven't forgiven him, but I'm not angry either.

Duntcha think Basch is a bit like Snake? A veteran soldier with a near-identical twin brother. Plus there's the bit where Basch is in a cage being ranted at by Gabranth, much like Solid and Liquid in the interrogation roomm.

Ha-ha! Geeks need not a reason though many attempt to provide one to the common gentry!(<- I've been typing and, sadly, talking this way recently because I've read too much 8-bit theater, my peers don't get it.) I wouldn't worry about the apathy by the way, it's the state of the current generation, also there's nothing sad about someone having lived a long life!

Aw, that's cool. Now I like those two even more! I'll have to play again and control Basch all the time instead of Balthier.

I'm walways playing as Vaan, but only 'cause he's at the top of the list. If I could change the order then I'd be Basch all the time. Oh, and if you start a new game I recomend finding out how to get the Zodiac spear before hand. It's the strongest weapon in the game (150 attack) and there are two ways to get it, one of which there is a 1 in a 1000 chance of working. The other you have to just not open a few chests. I got it when you're supposed to go to the Henne Mines.

I've read something about the Zodiac Spear, but I was too lazy to remember which chests not to open. Also, there's something about that game that just gets me lost all the time. So many times I found myself running in circles even though all I had to do was follow the map. XII is so pretty with interesting characters but I just can't get into it and so all the scenery looks very much the same in any given area so I get all turned around without noticing. Sad face...

It and IX are my favourites. I like to get awesome early in games (Although that does take away the challenge) and with the battle system I could actually be arsed to train. Also, I got Rogue Galaxy a while back and it reminds me of XII alot. Especially 'cause there's a guy called Vaan just outside a town that's surrounded by desert.

Oh, IX was my first and favorite Final Fantasy, it's what got me into RPGs. I liked it so much more than VII and VIII at the time since it was set in a nicer fantasy world than VII's industrial setting and the hero wasn't so depressing. VIII I just don't like playing, the whole battle system can either make too easy to get ahead or spend a lot of time drawing magic, and that's no fun at all. I like XII, I just wish I didn't suck at it.

IX was my frist too. I never really liked VII. Dunno why, just never did. I kinda rock at XII. I always train up a little bit in the start of games so it'll be easier and then I can feel good when I do side quest stuff early when you're not expected too. In XII there's so much to do that it gets ridiculous. Not only did I get the best weapon, my second and third best weapons at the moment I didn't use on my frist file 'cause by the time I was actually able to do it, other stuff I had was alot better.

Hm, I think I just don't know what to do when I'm given too much free range in a game. I need orders barked at me! I mean in games like Elder Scrolls IV I just spent all my time looking around the world for fun and take forever to finish any quests. I guess I'm too easily distracted.

On Final Fantasy VII, one of my main distastes with the game is summed up with Love Triangle, bleh... I hate it whenever I see a conversation about it.

Yeah, I know what ya mean. I like to do other stuff but I miss doing the plot. My brother's back from uni and he brought his PS3 so I'm playing Fallout 3 now and it's exactly the same.

Well, outside of my sorority, I still have no life. I guess that would mean that I have a half life?

And as my robot butler from Fallout 3 once said: "It is well know that irradiated cats have 18 half-lives". He also said:
"War does not decide who is right, only who is left."
"The best contraception for old people is nudity."

Dude, I've got to find that robot, but I just started...I can't decide wether or not to be evil. I mean, things suck enough as it is, I don't think being evil will be as fun as it was in Oblivion.

Ya have to defuse the bomb in Megaton to get him and the house. I'm up to a bit where I have to lose karma. . . it's quite weird.
