"I'd be better if you kicked the horny b*****d out of the shop," he muttured under his breath, obviously seething. He frowned then and looked the other back up and down. "And why were you letting him? Anyone with the insticts of an eight-year-old would be able to see that he was trying to pick you up... and probably drop you after tonight," he said dryly, raising an eyebrow at the other.
((Eeee. I luv Bo. <3
By the way, I have to get off soon so try to post quick. ><))

He then turned to Dov, "I think it would be hard to pick me up-- I am in fact, quite heavy." He smiled at Bo, "I wouldn't be surprised if he dropped me. He doesn't look particulary strong and I do way a bit."

Bo shook his head, a look of utter disbeleif on his face. "Pick you up... not as in... Well, not litteraly. When a guy picks another guy up for one night it usually means--"
But here he was cut off by his older brother. "Dinner, socializing and benefits afterwards." Dov smirked and grinned, flashing a seductive wink in the wolf's direction. "Which I'm sure our shelving assistant here would not be averse to."

Adrian looked at the shocked boy then at the other older male again. "I was told to socialize more. But I make it a habit to eat here because I aid in cleaning up. And I already get benefits here, like health insurance, and other coverages. This job actually has really good benefits... and I don't need someone to lift me to get them." He smiled after having made sence of what the other two where saying.

((He's almost as bad as Haro. xD *prods Tato*
Only it's... odder because he's seme. xDDD;;; ))
At this, both Bo and Dov appeared stumped. Bo turned to his older brother and with a look of utter disbelief on his face as well as a shocked tone of voice he said slowly, "He just doesn't get it... huh..."
Dov shook his head, utterly speachless. When, at last, he did get the presence of mind to speak... he didn't say much. "Yeah... I guess not. Strange." He frowned and turned back to Adrian. "Hey. You. Are you sure you're my age?" he asked, surveying the other again. "I mean... you're not, like.. eight, or something, are you??"

TableTopWatch [stuff] Haro nodded several times with a rather heavy flush, folding the card between his hands to keep them busy. He had never been asked to go to dinner...especially by some man, who was a bird as well, that flew up to his room and gave him a card that awarded him a fish. A fish!
Benji winced lightly at the boy's expression. "Nm, well if you want it to mean something like that, it can."
[[The way to Haro's heart, fish cards and lots of cake and kisses.]] ((Eheheheheh. Haro's su cute. "... a card that awarded him a fish. A fish!" x3 I giggles so much at that. I need to draw Haro with his fishy now. <333333))
Shin tapped his finger tips against the counter for a few moments before sighing and sliding his hands off the counter top. He... he should go upstairs and go to bed. Only... he didn't feel tired. But he should try to sleep, at the very least.
He departed from the kitchen, leaving it with one last glance to make sure that everything was really, really in order (he had gone through this about five times before just to find one or two things more that just had to be done) before climbing up the carpetted stairs. He passed Haro's room on the way and frowned softly as he heard the boy speaking... to someone else? But that was ridiculous. There was no one else in the house.
He knocked on the door softly. "Hey... you going to bed?" he asked, tone quiet, as usual. For some reason, a small smile touched his lips. He... liked feeling that he was near the small boy. He liked it a lot.

"Careful plant eater," he growled low in his throat, "just because I'm human ignorant doesn't mean I'm brain dead." He then handed the think tomb of literature to Dov. "Now if that will be all for you, I have books to shelve."((Lol, he's not stupid in most cases, just relationship ignorant on anything but male/female pairings.))

{{Sorry was so baindead as to what to do. X-x}}
With a final inhale tyler dropped the finished smoking cigarette to the ground and ground it out with his heel before releaseing a breath of smoke and stepping into the shop. Right away he glanced about for his little feline of a cousin, his noise giving the tiniest of twitches. He found the boy gliding over the bindings off books for somehing similar to what he was asked to retreive, seeing him too busy in his task and smirk and forcfully slammed a hand on his shoulder. "Hello, little Mikey."
The cat released something that could only beexplained as a yelp feeling the hand on his shoulder instantly dropping the book he had tilted out of place to the ground. Blue eyes narrowed looking back at the lion before shoving the book her already found against his chest. "One; you know I hate being called that and two; never scare me like that again and three; what the hell are you doing here?"
"Checking up on you is all, you know it's a shame there are so many here and yet here you are all by yourself looking for books." The look he received clearly said 'I'm doing what you told me to' and he shook his head slightly. "You really should get to know others more, it is infact good for your health," He added as he began to look for the other book himself completely ignoring the youngerst glare.

[[Haro isn't that bad. nwn; He just can't ever seem to get out his point clearly. D: I'm glad to have made you laugh, and I saw that picture of Shin in the prince RP, hocrap. X3 That boy has curves. :B <3
On a side note: Is it so weird that Haro could be talking to himself? x3]]
Both pairs of eyes, shades varying from a dark orange to a bright amber, swept towards the door. One set looked more than surprised, while the other scrunched up nicely, fingers playing with the edges of the small card in hand. In a matter of moments something soft was shoved into the boy's hands, causing golden eyes to fleck back towards the other bird, a questioning frown encasing his lips. "Eh, I'll be seein' you later, I guess." Haro was about to reply but the little parrot was gone, leaving nothing behind, other than the fish card of course. Staring down curiously at his arms, Haro smiled softly at Nish. The other bird had not liked seeing his bear on the floor?
Opening up the bedroom door with one small hand, the slender teen smiled softly, "Yep, I jus' have to...get in bed," he said dumbly, pointing back towards his untouched bed while blinking slowly. He'd have to close that window, too... He wondered why that pet man had left so quickly... Hm.
Eyeing the open window for a moment or so, Benji winced slightly before jumping off the side of the roof, changing quickly before he hit the ground. This was going to take much more time than Wei would probably allow him, but... he needed the kid to trust him. Such a task wouldn't take too long, the kid was way too trusting for his own good.

((Ohya. I showed that pic to my (guy) friends and nearly scared them shitless when I told them it was a guy. xD
Not so weird for Haro, but, then again, Shin has much more faith placed in Haro's sanity than I do. =o ))
Shin nodded and smiled, one quick glance around the room confirming that there was, in fact, no one else in the room for the boy to talk to. He glanced down at the bear in the boy's arms and then back up to Haro, a small grin on his lips.
"I thought you said the bed was too small for you to fit in it with Nish," he said, teasing the other slightly. "Just hope he doesn't do anything bad... right?" A small half-laugh escaped his up-turned lips and he brushed a pale hand through the other's hair before leaning over and leaving a small, brushing kiss on the other's forehead.
"Goodnight, then. I'll see you in the morning," he murmured, turning to go to his own room.

[[Poor Shin. x3]]
The boy's grip on the small bear tightened slightly. He knew...that Shin...cared for him, but no amount of care or concern could keep him safe. No amount of stuffed bears would do the trick either, but having solid near him at night was enough to allow his body to shut down for a light sleep. He knew he wouldn't be able to sleep well (he hadn't been able to do that in a while), but a paranoid sleep was better than nothing.
Fixed on the tall teen's earlier comment, Haro frowned softly, looking almost scared. "Bad?" What could Nish do? He wasn't...He wasn't a real bear. He didn't have claws or teeth or a cold, wet nose. He was furry and soft and the plushie panda was very cute in his opinion, but by no means close to the real animal.

Shin turned at the question and smiled. "Mmm... I think I remember you saying something along the lines of not being able to sleep in bed with Nish because he was too big and would do bad things," he said, brushing a hand habitually through his own dark hair. "Something like that, anyway."
He pressed a hand to the wall and leaned back against it so that the majority of his weight was now against the wall, surveying the boy with his clear blue eyes as he did, a light smile on his lips. "But I might have misinterpretted or heard you wrong," he murmured with a small shrug.

The older teen's explanation seemed to have made something click within the bird's head, because not many moments passed before golden amber eyes widened slightly. "Ah, I jus' said that so you'd sle-...so that...uhm-" Fumbling over his words, Haro looked downwards, brows furrowed in frustration before he hugged the small bear to his chest. "Nmm, I just...forgot," he murmured in a weak voice, giving the other a little wave in substitute for a goodnight kiss or something embarassing like that.
[[Oh Haro. -I'm rolling my eyes-]]

((Omg. Best. Song. EVAR. Jingle Jangle
This band's songs are SO addictive. Dx Like... the first one I ever heard of theirs was "Goodnight Goodnight." I found it like... over half a year ago and I STILL hum it constantly. xD;;; But now Jingle Jangle has taken its place... kinda. I LOVE (most of) THEIR SONGS!!!! >3<))
Shin cocked his head to one side, brow furrowed, a light frown forming on his lips. It had sounded like the other was about to say something else, but... perhaps not. Whatever it was, the boy didn't seem to want to say it, judging by the pinkness of his cheeks. So Shin, being the nice, considerate not not-completely-oblivious guy that he was, didn't press the point.
He took a couple steps forward to press a light kiss to the other's forehead with a murmured "good night" and left for his own room.

[[Wow, I haven't heard Hot Hot Heat in a longlonglong time. XD I have their CD but never listen to it anymore. I lost interest in them like a year (?) ago, I don't know I guess it's because listening to the whole CD after a while gets boring because a lot of their songs sound the same. >_> Jingle Jangle was one of my favorites though. ^w^]]
"'Night."
Ducking his head downward, Haro stared at the carpet as he took the few steps back to his...his? He was getting too comfortable with that term. To thinking this was home. That he could be happy here. Assuming that Shin was...-- He needed to stop it soon before reality decided to ruin things for him.
Not bothering to close his door, Haro set Nish as well as his fish card as the edge of hi- the bed, bright eyes drifting over towards the open window. He didn't know where that man had gone, if he was coming back, or...or what sort of answer he was trying to get from him, but he couldn't stay up waiting, and besides it was much too cold to keep the window open all night. Pushing the window down, Haro bit his lower lip. "Nnnngh." This was...why was this so hard to do? Trying again, the boy frowned at the stubborn window, it hadn't been hard to open!
Leaning all his weight against the framing, golden eyes widened considerabley as it closed with a swift bang. Haro was just about to congradulate himself at the accomplishment but was cut off by a soft laugh.
"You are quite amusing." The man's tone was very low, very faint...and Haro wasn't sure why he was speaking so softly.
Turning around with an almost frightened expression, Haro watched apprehensively as the fish bearer picked up his stuffed animal once more, holding it in one hand as if testing its weight. Starting slowly, Haro protested, "You shouldn't-" He had been speaking much too loud (apparently), for his bear was soon hurled at his face, causing a series of quiet little sputters. The little bird glared at Benji, starting against in a hissed whisper, "I need to go to sleep. You should go to sleep too."
Leaning against the side of the boy's bed, the orange-eyed man grinned. "How kind of you to offer, but I will have to decline for I fear your tiger wouldn't be too pleased if I stayed."
Haro, now the color of his hair, tried with all his, feeble as it was, might to push the window back open. "I didn't...m-mean it like that. I meant...you sh-should go home," he mumbled against the glass, squeaking as it opened unexpectedly with the help of the other bird. The man only laughed that same low, quiet laugh, ruffling the boy's hair a bit before leaving once more, closing the window behind him.
Frowning as he watched the bird leave, Haro picked up Nish with a heavy sigh. He didn't think he'd be sleeping too well tonight.
