Timothy nodded, waiting in the car with his nerves twisting and writing in his belly. "You're right. And I'll know everyone there so that's twice as good!" and smiled happily to himself, though the smile definitely looked nervous. He was surprised the clubhouse was so far away, but happy for it.

"Yea. I wonder if they dressed as nice as us. Maybe we over-dressed?" and got out of the car curiously. "I feel like I should have brought a present despite the fact it's my party. Like I'm eight going to a birthday party. Y'know?" and walked with Daren inside.

Inside Amanda was re organizing the food table for the umpteenth time, wanting to find a nice to look at display, Rachel holding two bowls. She was the one that noticed them first.

"Oh hey! You two are early! And looking sharp!"

"M-Mother! You're wearing a dress!" Timothy said, shocked. And unlike Amanda who had a flowy one, Rachel was wearing a nice and snug black dress which definitely showed off her goods.

"Figured if you and Daren don't want men on you I could serve as a distraction."

"Yes, if you could set up the game system that Amanda promised to set up over twenty minutes ago."

"It needs to be perfectly presentable!" She exclaimed before hearing Anna, looking over. "What? I mean, it'll dribble over the vegetables!" It wouldn't have, actually, but at the woman's request moved it back where it belonged, trading the vegetables with another dish instead.

Timothy waved hi, suddenly feeling shy and staying close to Daren.

"Oh why how polite. Thank you Tarte." And grinned at him before laughing as Anna poked him. "Don't be jealous Anna, you can join, I like girls with green eyes."

"Don't you start!" Amanda exclaimed. tarte would hit on Rachel, Rachel would hit on Anna and Amanda would get jealous.

"I'm sort of nervous, actually. But you and Anna look lovely today! You guys didn't need to get too dressed up!" And because everyone seemed more dressed up than him he felt under-dressed.

"Because our DVD player is broken and like a good family, we're going to show off baby pictures."

"Mom!" Timothy exclaimed, face turning red.

"I even got our favorite one in there."

"No!" he wailed, knowing exactly which one they were referring too. He quickly hid his face in his hand, pushing his glasses up to rest on his head before sitting on a chair.

"Oh come on we've shown that one to so many people!" Amanda hugged her baby, kissing his head. "Plus it's to play video games in case too many people come. This way instead of us all talking and getting bored with talking they can play games and get distracted. A lot of your friends are still in their early twenties." And left to go help Anna with decorations.

"Thank you, Tarte." Tim murmured.

A little after everything was all set up, people started arriving. he actually cried after five people showed up, sobbing on the shortest person who only pat his back. Tim introduced everyone rapidly before discussing with the shorter one who was apparently a female to male transsexual who was living very well. THen more people started showing up, doing his best to introduce them before more people entered and he left to go greet them. Not everyone was wearing a suit and tie which was good, some dressed better, some dressed worse, some making Tim wonder if they woke up and just walked over.

But soon it was crowded, noisy, people were eating the snacks set out, Amanda very quick to refill everything or the punch bowl. "I'll be honest I didn't expect this many people to show up."

Rachel laughed. "It's Tim. Everyone loves him."

"The entire building?!"

Rachel looked. She had to admit, there had to be at least fifty people in here not including themselves. But her eyes landed on her son who was rapidly chatting away with some man with a mowhawk, but he looked pretty happy.

"And some of them brought gifts!" and Amanda pointed to another table they had to bring out and cover it with.

"I think Daren went missing." Rachel said, scanning the crowd, some sitting, some standing, some playing games, but where was Daren? Crap did she lose him in the crowd?

Where was he?

Rachel sifted through the crowd herself, greeting some of Tim's coworkers she knew, especially his boss. When did he show up?

Tim gave a laugh as he was picked up by another much larger friend, flailing his legs before being put down.

Jesus where on earth had he gone? Looking at people play games before spotting part of the stairs. That looked perfect. She'd stand on those and look out to find Daren. Rachel did pause, taking a plate of food from Amanda who demanded she eat. Fine, she'd eat. Popping in a pig in a blanket she walked up the stairs before finding the officer she was looking for. She continued to move up until she was standing beside him on the same step, chewing her food.

"Enjoying the party?" she asked, taking another pig in a blanket in her mouth.

"The food's good." Rachel said, "So it's not to bad." she watched her sone pick up two blond twins, judging by how young they looked they were probably interns still in high school or just starting college. It didn't last long, having to drop them and laughing before they tried to pick him up. Each one had a leg and it succeeded for a few seconds before Tim's weight had him fall back and hit his head. Several people came to his aid. "I'm surprised he had this many friends. I was talking to one of his bosses and apparently they all knew Andrew was a bad seed but Timothy kept them at bay. They're glad he's out of the hospital and all right." she stabbed a piece of melon with her toothpick and ate it.

A brown haired woman had helped Tim up, dusting him off before handing im a small present. Tim looked surprise (as he had with each present because he hadn't said to bring any) before taking it. He asked her something, and after getting a response he shook it by his ear curiously. The noise in the room was either too loud or it didn't make much noise because he shook it again somewhat harder.

"Why're you hiding up here? You could get to know his friends." She suggested as a older tanned man with a mustache walked up and smiled at Tim and the brunette woman before engaging in conversation with the two.

"That was a bad image they used of you in the newspaper." Rachel commented, taking yet another bite of food. Tim was now chatting with some guy with a scarf over some papers he'd apparently brought. Her son seemed to be growing frustrated before snatching a pen from the male's shirt pocket and began to fix it. The woman wondered if he was the new accountant. If he was he must have been doing a piss-poor job as Tim fixed and explained everything.

"You want me to bring you some food?" She asked, watching her son literally do work at a party meant for him. "Tim's really lucky to have someone like you take care of him. I think the lobster bits are almost done. You like lobster, Aomine?"

and people were laughing, gathering around Tim trying to get him to stop working but Timothy was quickly getting them involved and soon they cleared a piece of table, working out the numbers carefully until the boss had to split them up, the scarf-wearing man taking his work apologetically.
