Rikka ran to Ryuu, being careful to stay as far away from Lulu as possible on such a narrow stairway. She stopped in front of him and quickly held her hands over his bleeding wound. "Cure!" Rikka focused as much energy into her hands as quickly as she would go. It seemed to move too slow, and Ryuu was still in danger. If nothing moved faster, surely Ryuu would only be injured again.
Faris charged straight at Lulu, his mouth wide open. He wanted nothing more to sink his fangs deep into her shoulder, wanted nothing more than to taste her blood in his mouth. His eyes were blood red, and flames arose in his throat. With a deep breath he expelled the explosive flames that had been dormant in his body for over 100 years.

"Rikka..." Ryuu said weakly. A smile formed across his face. Seeing Rikka here strengthen him a little. He put his arm around Rikka as a support to walk, and slowly began walking out of the way. "I'm sorry I failed you Rikka. I need to be stronger, so I can always protect you." He said as he stared down at the ground. Soon...I will tell you. he said, referring the talk he wanted to have with her.

Rikka blushed and held Ryuu as tightly as she could. "You don't need to be stronger Ryuu, you're strong enough!" Rikka looked at Lulu and Faris. "Come on," Rikka started carefully down the stairs, "Faris will be okay by himself! Let's get away from here and see if we can find Serenity!" Rikka adjusted Ryuu's arm so she could better hold it. "Watch your step, I don't need you hurt any more!"

"We were downstairs when we got attacked. So she's probably hidden behind some wall down there." Ryuu thought out loud. He slowly walked down the steps and began looking around, still holding onto Rikka's shoulder for support. "Rikka...I know a lots going on but can I tell you something quick?" He asked nervously.

Lulu only smirk at this and only stood where she was, not caring whether she was getting hit or not. She remains at her spot with the wounds that was giving to her, watching Faris eyes go blood red. She knew that something was going on and she had the hint that Faris probably knew who the holder of her orb was. 'There is a chance that you might know her as well, huh?' she asks herself in silence, beginning to raise one of her hands to do a spell at Faris. But, she was quite sure if it was possible to do any spells on a dragon for this was her first time facing one. Not taking any chances, she only put her hand down on her side and began to walk down the steps slowly to feel the heat that Faris given to hurt her.
"Why do you care so much for this girl? You only know her at least a day or so and you yet care for her suddenly" Lulu said in an emotionless voice, not quite understanding how people get so caring after meeting someone. "She is quite worthless to you and I am sure that you should worry about your friends than myself" Taking the last step of the stairs to be on the ground floor now, beginning to turn her head a bit to look at Ryuu and Rikka from where they are. "And you have always been a failure Ryuu..." she began. “You say you are a magician of light and elemental magic...you should have known that I wasn't Serenity in the first place...this makes you more of a weakling than I suspect from you" Turning away to look at Faris again with her eyes turning a bit light, she slowly took a step forward to him with a fearless look on her face. ((Ah crap, I forgot to tell you guys that she's a spirit. x__X You can harm her in some ways, but only through the element of light and that will make her go away to make the spells she gone disappear))

((LoL. Don't worry about it, but I'm pretty sure Ryuu could at least hear some parts on what Lulu said to him for being a weakling. I feel a bit mean there, but it's Lulu nature. sweatdrop ))

Rikka did not move her head, although her eyes were set firmly on Ryuu. Once she almost tripped so she decided it was best to continue watching the stairs. "You can tell me anything Ryuu," her voice was the usual soft one it always was. If it had not been for Faris' growling it would have been hard to believe a fight was going on. "You can trust me with anything Ryuu!"
"I care deeply for Serenity! I must protect her for Reikon, and I must protect Reikon for Serenity! Even if it costs me my life, I will protect them until I die! Faris growled. For once, the beautiful young man with such a timid personality had completly vanished. Faris had lost himself in the skin of a blood thirsty beast. He did not care his first attack had not affected the woman. Until he could fight no longer he would continue his attack. He flamed again, firing great balls of burning material at the wicked spirit that talked so coldly to him.

"Rikka...." Ryuu began, trying to figure out how to word his sentence. A sudden emotion surged through his body and without thinking he wrapped his arms around Rikka and kissed her gently on her lips. "Rikka...I love you. I never want to see you get hurt....I never want to be away from you." He whispered in her ear softly. He continued hugging her for a few more seconds then slowly let go and stood where he was standing before he did this. His face was red, half from blushing and half from a bit of embarrassment. "I'm sorry...I don't know what came over me...." He said nervously.

Rikka blushed even more than Ryuu had as impossible as the notion sounded. She touched her lips with both her hands, that was her first kiss. Her first kiss ever had been with Ryuu! She looked up with him, and for a second she looked like she was about to cry. The tears spilled over and she started sobbing before hugging Ryuu. For a moment, there was nothing she could do but express her emotions by crying.
"I love you too Ryuu!" she sobbed. "I never want you to get hurt! I love you so much, and I'm so happy you love me too!"

Ryuu held Rikka close to him, wiping her tears away. "I'm glad." He smiled. "I don't know what I'd do if I would have never met you." He gently stroked her sort brown hair, lost in this wonderful moment. His eyes had slowly began to fill with tears, which he quickly wiped away. ((At least I think it's brown. xDDD)) He wished this moment could last forever. After what seemed to be minutes he finally spoke. "We should probably get back to finding Serenity."

((Too much cuteness! :flails arm: Stop being cute! Why won't it stop?! cry Oh, and yeah it's brown, her hair.))
Rikka was jerked to reality by the sudden realization that Ryuu and Rikka had to find Serenity. Faris was holding off Lulu, but how long would that last? She was a little sad that her fairy tale had been abruptly cut off, but she nodded. "Yes of course! First let me finish healing you Ryuu, I think we're safe for now!" Rikka placed her hands lightly on Ryuu's shoulder taking care not to hurt him. "I'm getting better at this you know," she said proudly.

Lulu only laugh at this on the attacks that was giving to her by Faris and it only made her take a step closer to Faris with a huge grin on her face at the thought she was about to do. Stopping a feet away from Faris, she began to glow slightly red again to feel fully charge by taking half of Serenity energy from the other room. Truly aware on what was going on behind her; Lulu began to have second thoughts on what to do with Faris and soon turned to look at the couple. 'Hmmm...I wonder...' Lulu thought suddenly, keeping her eyes on Faris for a moment before turning her head a bit to look at Rikka. 'Instead of killing off this dragon, why not do something to that little girl' An evil smile soon began to form on her face on the change of plans she had, holding up one of her hands in front of her to let a gust of wind appear around her hand with sparks of electricity going along with the flow as she continues to stare at Faris.
"People like yourselves need to stop caring for other people and start caring only yourself" Lulu began smoothly, continuing to hold the hand in front of her where the gust began to speed up to form more sparks of electricity. "Caring for others and doing other people's job is a total waste of time...just like the people behind me for doing such a scene when they should be alert on what's going on!!" Turning around quickly to face the couple in annoyances. "SURA DAARA!!" she yelled loudly to throw a huge storm of gust at Rikka and Ryuu as the electricity began to strike in different places where they are. ((Ahh, you guys HAD to make it soo cute for them earlier and now I had to destory that moment!! >_<))

Ryuu quickly summoned a magical force field to protect himself and Rikka. It would be hard to find Serenity with this girl attacking them. "Hopefully Faris can finish her soon... He thought. "Well you heal me so much, no wonder you're getting better." Ryuu said with a smile. He continued to hold up the force field, but it was hard to maintain and was draining him of his magical reservoir quickly.

Rikka watched as Ryuu put up the barrier, and saw how drained of energy he was quickly becoming. She had to help! Rikka held out her palm, "Kago*," Rikka reinforced Ryuu's barrier, and hopefully he would not need to strain himself so much. She was amazed she had created a barrier. She realized that channeling her magic in a different form did something completly different than it had before. She smiled a little and her accoplishment.
