Q) How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
(A) Okay, well, seeing as a Woodchuck is a small mammal that could maybe, let's say on a good day, throw about a half-pound of wood at a time.
The woodchuck is a scurrying mammal that could get that half pound of material ready in say, 10 seconds, ready for chucking. Since a small mammal like that proably sleeps 14 hours a day, and would probably need to take breaks every 2 hours for food and water, lasting about fifteen minutes....
so about 3 pounds per minute, at a good clip, making about 315 pounds every two hours, including breaks, so...about 3,150 pounds of twigs on a really good day.
