Eli was hungry enough to finish the warm food before too long. He was sipping his soda when he saw more people enter on was a darker toned girl and then a guy in a hood. The girl was off doing something but they guy was looking down and around. Though his intention became clear once he reached the counter. Things got crazy when the person pulled out a gun and demanded money. Everyone was spooked but the way the door was you would have to run right into the danger. So people hid under tables. Eli joined Laure under theres. The guy was getting the money from the cashier. But the cashier was apparntly going too slow. The robber decided a hostage was a good idea to speed things up. Worse part was he looked right to them. He came by and grabbed Laure. Eli initally was spooked was thinking the robber was going for him. Once he relized Laure was in danger he was compled to try and help, much like before. Without much though he was out from under the table and pounced at the robber. He dint notice his hood had flown off but he knocked the guy down and away fromended up clawing him in a non fatal way. Still in reaction mode he puched the guys light out. Exhaling deeply he was suddenly on alert. He didn't feel his hood and he could hear some people muttering about him. Scared his ears flatened back in fear and he bolted out of the restaurant yanking his hood up he would head for an alley. He had hoped to stay with Laure more but nothing good would come from that many humans seeing him....

Laure Angela Longstaff

Her day just couldn't go good at any point could it. She was having a fine lunch with a cat mutant and then a robber came in? Come on it McDonald's! they don't have that much cash in the draws. She had quickly dived under the table her hair turning more white then anything else. Couldn't the fool just go, no it seemed not. He waves his gun and next thing she know she being dragged out from under the table and then Eli saves her again. But after he saves her everyone starts talking like he was the bad guy! To her he was more a hero then anyone else.

She glares at them her hair moving on its own burning bright red, "Fools that cat man no villain he a hero! you should remember that!" then she faced the robber, "You are scum and will go turn yourself in and confess all your crimes." She say before she grabs her bag and leaves the place just where did her new friend go she needed to know he was alright. What she didn't know is she worked her powers in there and the robber felt a great need to confess his crimes, all of them since he was a little boy. the people she even made then feel guilty for thinking Eli was the bad guy.

Looking around she she find Eli in the alleyway they meet but there was a girl with him now. Was the girl going to case something?

Soni chuckled and walked around the boy. "Hermano... if I wanted a fight you’d be long gone." She gave a little wave to the girl. "I’m the one who erased the videos, made the lights go out, and even made sure you got away clean from the news. We all know how it will spin." She pulled out her gun and twirled it a little, reholsterinf it as she folded her arms. "Besides... we need to look after each other. Mutant hate is at it’s all time high." Putting her fingers together and pulling them apart, showing various news reports slandering Mutants. "I mean... humans don’t even play fair."

The blush that crossed Leo's pale face was noticeable. It was clear he was enjoying the view. With a smirk he rolled onto his side, propping himself up on his elbow. His light blue eyes watching the shorter boy and all of his attempts to avoid staring. It was then that the other boy's comment registered. "You work at a shelter for mutants?" he said with a hesitant look. "It's not those brotherhood guys is it? I've heard some unpleasant things about them. My folks have had their handful with some of the stuff that they do..." he said concern creeping in his voice. "Unless there's another group or something, I just don't think you'd be part of such a rough crowd.." he said looking at the pale boy not even a foot away from him. This boy didn't seem like a cause trouble and mayhem type. Are there other mutant groups? He shifted purposefully moving a little closer. "You seem to innocent for those brotherhood guys though. I think we should be safe together." He said with his voice sliding back into that flirty tone. He'd quickly vanished any idea that Leo could be involved with a group like the Brotherhood. He seemed too kind, too quiet, too pure. And that got Donovan's attention.

"Oh no, its a chapel that runs it. They even helped me before I got a new home" Leo said. "I know of some brotherhood members that come by, last time was to show another mutant that the place existed, but they respect the place and dont start anything." Donavan seemed worried for Leo. Which was nice. He did appricate it when people seem to care. "No I'm not, while I understand the reasoning, I disagree with thier goals." He replied. "I went with the other options as I perfer people getting along than trying to be better." It felt good to talk and even with Donavan practicly oozing confidence he was easy to talk to.

Laure Angela Longstaff

Giving a little nod, the mutant hatting happened way too much but the robbery, that was the first she had seen. She looks to the street trying to think where might be fun and not so dangerous.As for the name El Fantasma that the girl gave she remembered it from the news. At least she was on their side? Wasn't she? The women did help them so it did seem that way, and she seemed nice.

"Oh... um yea showing and explaining will be easier." Leo said nervously, he was going to have to get used to Donovan's flirtatiousness. Once they were done with the room they braved the party. On the way out Donovan got called to and Donovan's reaction to it told Leo that this was not a friend "Dude Donovan you leaving without saying hi first? We're about to have a contest!" The guy said in a kinda mocking way. "Come show off for you Boy Toy man!" Leo really didn't like getting called like he not there or important. It was obvious what the contest was. A drinking contest. It seemed like Donovan really didn't want to deal with this guy. Well, Leo knew he could handle the booze. Thanks to the powers to get drunk he had to get to drink near toxic levels of alcohol. Before Donovan could come back with a comment Leo stepped in. He really only had courage when he was standing up for someone else, that and he knew he would win. "This Boy Toy will challenge you." Leo said prompting an oh really look at him from the annoying guy and friends. They looked like they thought he was a lightweight. Understandably so Leo was not imposing at all size wise. Leo went over to the challenge table. He let them pick the poison. Tequila huh, well this be over fast. Taking the appropriate turns the challenge commenced. he did have to hand it to the guy he made it to 8 drinks before he was quite done. Leo finished off the 9th of his for the win. OK powers or not he was definitely drunk. He was given something by the friend's which he just shoved in his pocket. Eh, he would look at it when he was sober. He made his way to Donovan who was looking little wiggly but it was definitely him. "Ok, yea lets get going... I got the address on my phone here...whoa..." He said before stumbling a bit, the room was a bit wiggly too. He grabbed Donovans shirt to catch himself and stumble/leaned onto Donovan. He figured out the GPS to what was labeled as home, The x-mansion. "Yea there...I'll be good by the time we get there...its kinda warm in here let's go." He said before trying it futility to drag Donovan along by his shirt.
