That's what I thought. Volt laughed in her head, proud of how easily her little diversion worked. Clapping her hands together dutifully she announced, "Well then! We're pretty much off the clock till daddy realizes I'm gone, what do you wanna do in the meantime?" she asked, figuring it was only polite to consult them.( I ship it lol. )

Just thought I'd give you a head's up.* " Well, once Xashowd's done with his popsicle there, I say we find these guards you mentioned. I'd like to see how you mess with them." Laguna stated, figuring she could also get in on the action. She'd finished off her ice cream cone and was stretching her blue wings, wondering if she'd get some flight time. She hadn't really given her wings any decent exercise since she'd gotten here (the scuffle in Sciurus' lobby didn't count, it'd only lasted a few seconds). As for Xashowd, he was still happily munching on his popsicle, about three-quarters of the way through it. She just smiled, glad that he was happy.

( Whatever floats your boat...but uhh...why do their names have to be combined? XD )"Well I don't really have any control over it, they just sort of...appear every so often." Volt explained to Laguna. "But with any luck they won't take too long." She paused. "Gee, there's a sentence I never thought I'd say." Usually she couldn't stand them popping up.

*They don't have to, it's just something I see a lot where shippings are concerned.* " You mean they don't just stand guard in one place all day?" Laguna inquired, eyebrow raised. They didn't sound like your typical guards. She wondered what kind of guards appeared out of nowhere while watching Xashowd finish his treat. He looked like a very happy feline, his wings fluttering in joy.

"Well they do...until daddy sends them out scouting to look for me." she backtracked and explained. "They sort of become air in their stealth mode and pop out unexpectedly. Our best bet to see 'em would be to somehow draw them out... Maybe if they thought I was in danger..." Now there was a plan that couldn't possibly go wrong. Volt tilted her hips to the side and drummed her fingers on her chin in thought, actually considering the notion.

" Or Xashowd here can sniff them out. He does control the element of Wind. He oughta be able to sense them with his magic." She looked over at Xashowd, who had just finished his popsicle. " Isn't that right, little kitty?" She said with a mischievous smile. Xashowd looked up at Laguna, not entirely sure how to react. " Well, I could try, at least. I don't know if I'd find them, though." He replied. He didn't know what her Guards' energy signatures were, so he wasn't entirely confident he could find them. Then again, sensing sentient air moving through the sky shouldn't be too difficult...unless there were a lot of Venti or Wind spirits around, then it'd be like finding a needle in a haystack.

Volt folded her arms behind her head and shrugged casually. "If you think you can feel free to try. All I know is I never see 'em comin'." Thankfully she was fairly good at evading them once they did emerge though.

Xashowd *Roger. Also, thanks for the compliment! All I need is for Gaia to make a Scythe for Animals and I can call this Avi complete. *Sorry for not responding for so long. A Migraine showed up a few days ago and has been messing with my RP flow. I'm still trying to get rid of it, after which time I should be able to get my character thoughts in order. Again, very sorry for the late response! cat_sweatdrop *

Xashowd *Sorry for not responding for so long. A Migraine showed up a few days ago and has been messing with my RP flow. I'm still trying to get rid of it, after which time I should be able to get my character thoughts in order. *Alrighty, the Migraine's faded enough that I can RP again! Just have to not move my head down too fast.* Xashowd nodded, then shifted back to his normal form. While he could use some wind magic in Feline Form, he wasn't as proficient with it, and some magics he hadn't tried yet. He didn't want to take any risks. He closed his eyes and concentrated on the air in the vicinity, feeling out for any Wind not moving with the normal flow. He also tried sensing energy signatures he didn't recognize, as he knew what most Wind Spirits felt like. He searched methodically, scanning in ever-growing circles looking for the Air Guard Volt spoke of. While Xashowd was busy scanning, Laguna walked over to Volt. " Well, on the off chance Xashowd here doesn't find them, what's plan B for luring out your stalker guards?" She inquired, curious as to what they looked like. Part of her wondered if she might get lucky with one of them...they might be guards, but she thought everyone liked to have a little fun every now and then. *Sweet. I'm kinda surprised too. If they don't make one by Halloween, I'm gonna give serious consideration to questing a Ticket of some kind. As long as there are no unfinished Quests by then, anyways... cat_sweatdrop *

( Glad to know you're starting to feel better. ^^ Migraines are the worst, I used to get them all the time... x-X; ) Volt crossed her arms and shrugged lazily. "I dunno, what am I, their keeper? My time's usually spent tryin' ta ditch 'em rather then lure 'em out...though I suppose if we got into some sort of trouble that would probably do the trick." She glanced around, looking for something promising she could use to feign some sort of disaster. It was almost as if the royal guard had some sort of radar that could detect when she was in trouble. It made sense, figuring that if anything happened to her while on duty it technically held them responsible. She could always jump in a lake and sink like a rock...but she didn't really wanna tempt fate that realistically... Then again, the only other thing they detested as much as danger was her cavorting around with Gaians when her parents had suitors lined up out the door. "Well, guess there's only one thing to do!" she announced with a shrug. With Xashowd distracted he was powerless to resist Volt yanking him by the coat collar and planting an unexpected kiss on him. Almost immediately the wind blew in and materialized - tackling the vampire off of her at unfathomable speeds. Pinning him to the ground the guard furrowed his brow and yelled interrogations at him. "What do you think you're doing?!" Volt just stood there, hands folded neatly behind her back, rather proud her plan worked. "See?" ^^

*It's okay, I found it pretty hilarious! Now to come up with a suitable reaction* Xashowd kept concentrating on his task, checking every spot in the air he could think of. He then noticed a spot of air hovering some distance above them...it wasn't one he recognized. As he was starting to analyze the air spot, he felt a sudden pull on his coat. He rapidly opened his eyes to find Volt kissing him out of the blue. He was momentarily dumbstruck, but as he was trying to figure out what was going on, he was summarily tackled by a large gust of air, which turned into a man of considerable strength. " What do you think you're doing?!" The man yelled at him, and it was all Xashowd could do not to instinctively hurl him off then and there. " Right now, wondering what the heck just happened." He replied honestly. Volt suddenly kissed him and then he got tackled, how was he supposed to react? Meanwhile, Laguna had fallen on her backside (Wings instinctively shifting into her back), howling with laughter. The scene had taken only a few moments, but they were the funniest thing she had seen in weeks. " BHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAaaaaHAAAAAhahahahahaaaaaaa... Okay, THAT was hilarious." She stated, feeling only a little sorry for Xashowd. Once she managed to stop laughing, she took a look at the guard who'd tackled Xashowd. Hmmm...He's not bad. I wouldn't mind helping him take off that armor... She stood back up and smiled at Volt. " I have to say, you sure know how to make someone laugh." Laguna stated, wondering what would happen next.
