"You mean the one currently residing in the Dark Ocean?" Seraphimon questioned calmly. "I assure you, I have no plans to keep him. Are you aware, however, that he is an amnesiac?" He looked down at the little chicken. "I can help him regain his memories. I assure you, I will only hold onto him long enough to help him remember who he is, and then I will send him back to you."

"You are enemies of the Fallen; as such, I must dispatch you," was ChaosGallantmon's simple reply.
Leo narrowed his eyes, grimacing and wishing he wasn't confined to crutches as his Digimon digivolved once more, LoaderLiomon and Sealsdramon getting into position to protect him.
SaberLeomon snarled. "Oh no you don't! Howling Crusher!" He charged at the black knight, slashing at him with his claws...
Only for ChaosGallantmon to block the attack with his shield... his now-glowing shield. "Judecca Prison." A massive wave of dark energy blasted out of the shield, disintegrating SaberLeomon and causing the now-dead feline to revert to data.

Jimmy just stood there, staring off into space with a goofy look on his face... hell, he still had that spaced-out, goofy look on his face when Guardromon started pushing him back to his room.

Seraphimon seemed to tense up a little at the mention of BlackGuilmon, but nevertheless nodded. "An acceptable bargain." He tossed the girl the Crest of Hope before grabbing Hyokomon and vanishing with the little chicken in a burst of light.

ChaosGallantmon then focused his attention on the Digidestined once more."Now then..." He pointed his lance at LoaderLiomon. "Chaos Shot!" The lance began charging up power...
"Fist of the Beast King!"
...Only for the shot to be redirected skyward by an attack of Leomon's own. ChaosGallantmon gave the lion-like warrior a cold look. "Very well... if you seek annihilation as well, I shall oblige you." He turned to point his lance at Leomon...
Only for him to be knocked away, quite literally, by LoaderLiomon. "Oh no you don't! You won't lay a hand on my brother!" he snarled.
ChaosGallantmon stiffened slightly at the word "brother" before zoning out with just a hint of tears in his eyes, which was rather strange for a Digimon that had been a near-emotionless drone a moment ago. "Brother...? Gallantmon...?" he murmured, confused, before grabbing his head in pain, grimacing, dropping both his lance and his shield in his hazy confusion.
Leo frowned slightly as he noticed ChaosGallantmon's strange behavior.

Jimmy and the others soon went to sleep as well...
Only for both Jimmy and Evelyn to "awaken" in a featureless void, standing across from the same silhouette that had visited Sandra. "What the heck?!?" Jimmy asked, very, very confused at the moment.

"Sounds good to me!" Calumon agreed cheerfully from beside the girl... even though he hadn't been there a split second ago. "Boss says hi, by the way!"

Of course, they didn't have a whole lot of time to talk about that, because it was at that point ChaosGallantmon abruptly stood, grabbing his lance once more and pointing it toward Leomon and LoaderLiomon. "Chaos Shot!"
The two lion-like Digimon dodged as best they could, only for them to get blindsided by a second and shot, shortly followed by similar shots that hit Sealsdramon, Ginryumon, and Reptiledramon; while the weaker, rapid-fire version of the attack didn't delete them like the fully charged version would have, it DID knock Leomon out and force the remaining four Digimon to de-digivolve back to their in-training levels.
ChoasGallantmon then prepared to finish them off with another attack... only to pause and hesitate, noting both the ridiculously weak state of the Digimon and the way Leo was being forced to use a crutch. After a moment, he turned away, starting to leave.
Leo quirked an eyebrow. "What, not going to finish us off?" He tried to get Frimon and Missimon to Digivolve again, only to find that something was interfering with his digivice.
ChaosGallantmon paused and glanced back. "There is no honor in deleting those who have already been defeated. You are clearly no threat to the Fallen on your own, and the Digital Hazard shall keep your Digimon from becoming a threat. I have won; there is no need to eliminate you." With that, ChaosGallantmon opened a black portal and stepped through it, the portal closing behind him and leaving one soundly defeated pair of Digidestined behind.

The figure chuckled in amusement. "Now is that any way to talk to your benefactor?" he questioned, a faint smile visible under his hood.
Jimmy blinked. "Benefactor...? Wait, you mean you're the one who brought us to the Digital World?"
"I had a little help," the silhouette admitted freely, "but for the most part, yes."

"Hey, hey, don't strangle the messenger! Boss is busy talkin' to some of the other Digidestined! 'Sides, I was given directions, I can lead you to an entry point and then you just use the crests to digivolve to Ultimate and blast your way through, honest!" Calumon shouted desperately, curling up into a ball in an attempt to minimize any damage as he tried to get the crazy lady to calm down.

Leo sighed as he examined the Digimon to make sure they were all right. "Well," he finally spoke, "I think it's safe to say that we're probably screwed if we come across anymore hostile Digimon."

The man nodded. "Yes. There is... an ancient beast, for lack of a better word, sealed away. His coming would herald the end of both the Digital world and the real world. The Fallen seek to find it, awaken it, and use it to promote virus supremacy. The Purified seek to find it, enslave it, use it to destroy all Viruses, and then kill it. What neither of them realize is that ChaosMegidramon is a being of pure, unadulterated chaos, and that its power can only be brought under control one way: by merging him with his missing half."
Jimmy blinked, puzzled. "His missing half...?"
The silhouette nodded. "Yes. ChaosMegidramon was not born, you see; he was created, when a single, extremely powerful Digimon was split into two - a being of pure darkness, and a being of pure light. In order to stop ChaosMegidramon, you need to find his lighter half and merge them once more... though if you can stop the Fallen and the Purified before either succeeds with ChaosMegidramon's revival, it may not have to come to that at all."

Calumon quickly nodded and hurried along. Within a few minutes, they reached a rather large boulder that seemed to be emitting a rather dark aura. "This is the place; now you just gotta Digivolve to the max and blast the rock in the face." Calumon bobbed his head, as if he'd just said something incredibly smart and/or wise.

Leo nodded. "Right."
"There's an oasis not too far from here," Frimon piped up helpfully. "It's where the village gets water from. We could go there."

The silhouette was silent a moment. Then:
"When brother meets brother and the Black Knight dies,
Twelve shall watch as the Ender doth rise.
The Soldier shall battle the veteran's pain,
And with the Lion's help, control his inner darkness once again.
One Dragon shall rise to be a Knight,
And the other shall be a Warrior and find a different way to fight.
The Sun and the Moon shall become beings most divine,
And the Bear shall his inner darkness find.
The Bee and the Cyborg will reach their potential through innovation,
And the Phoenix shall rise, much to the Pure Ones' elation.
Darkness and Light shall find Balance once more,
And Twilight shall once again be at the fore." The silhouette then gave them a little smirk. "That's really a bit of a loose translation from Digicode, but the point remains: if you can fulfill the conditions mentioned in the prophecy, then theoretically, you'll be able to stop ChaosMegidramon if he rises. Either that, or you can focus on stopping the 'brother meets brother' part of the prophecy."
Sparky blinked several times, startled, before adopting a skeptical look. "I'm... not really all that eager to put too much faith in a prophecy of all things..." he noted; he was a man of science and technology, and found it difficult to believe in anything that couldn't be scientifically proven... hence why he tried not to think too hard about religion or philosophy.
The silhouette gave him a wry smile. "Well, if it helps, think of it this way: we're trying to stop the end of not one, but two worlds here, if not more - we need all the help we can get, no matter how farfetched it is."

The boulder easily shattered under the might of two Ultimates, and all was silent for a moment... and then suddenly a miniature black hole appeared where the boulder had been, sucking the four of them in and spitting them back out in the Dark Ocean, right behind Shadow.

Frimon gave her an indignant look. "I'm stuck as an In-Training, not as an invalid! Of course I can lead us there!" With that, he hopped out of her arms and began bouncing along, leading the group out of the village.

"Woah now, I never said I wouldn't help," Sparky assured her quickly, blushing ever-so-slightly as his imagination ran wild concerning Evelyn's offer. "I just said I was a bit skeptical about believing in something as vague and unscientific as a prophecy. Still, this guy's right, it's probably the only chance we've got."
The silhouette just chuckled in amusement at the about-face concerning Sparky's attitude about the prophecy.

(Certainly seems that way, doesn't it?)

Needless to say, Shadow was very, very surprised when Sandra was suddenly in his face and kissing him. Without really thinking about it, he began to kiss her back, not really sure what this warm feeling in his chest was but nevertheless enjoying himself immensely.

Leo noticed her watching him and gave her a reassuring little smile. "Relax, I'm fine," he assured her.

The silhouette smiled and nodded. "Anytime."
With that, Sparky and Evelyn awoke, Sparky blinking groggily as he came to.
