That was a very good reason to celebrate, it felt like that hadn't really up until that point. Everything always seemed sad and depressing, but the children were a positive thing! They were the ones that would bind the two lovers forever. Looking at her slice of cake, she wondered why her's was bigger then the one he cut for himself. Not thinking on it more, Isabel took her first bite of the homemade cake. It was amazing! The sweet flavours just danced around her palate, his he really make this? It was so good, much better then all the packets of things he left lying around for her. "mmm this cake is just.. wow.. I've never tasted anything like it... oh umm by the way.. you left your notepad here last night.."

Mark chuckled watching her devour the cake like a child would candy. She was so cute. His face blushed a deep shade when she revealed that he had left his notepad here.
"Y-You've read it then.." he fidgeted a little. "W-What did you think Isabel?" The ideas had just come to him, though deep down Mark pictured Deumo-Isabel that way.
"I'm glad you like the cake. I haven't cooked anything in a while." he smiled chuckling at her messy face. She was so adorable!

"well..." she chewed a little more so she could talk without a full mouth of cake. "I liked it alot actually. You made me sound so elegant and pretty, like a princess. But in real life I'm just a seducing demon" Isabel gave a small sigh, eating another piece of her cake. "A demon who you had a one night stand with.." It was the truth really. Her frown soon turned upside down though. "Although, I like the fact where you made her live in a miniature mansion. If only it was real right? We could spend every single night together...." it saddened her really, she really did want his little story to be real. The tale was so romantic, real life was never like the stories in books though.
Finishing her first slice of the cake, she started to eye up the rest. "I like this cake alot better then all those things you leave for me" she then realised how that sounded "that doesn't mean I don't appreciate it! These babies make me so hungry... and I can't actually get my own food here." The cake looked so yummy, all the glace cherries where just all shiny and bright red like little gems on top. How could anyone resist?

Cutting her another piece he put it on her plate and smiled. "Thank you Due-err..Isabel." he happily smiled at her compliments to not only his story but the cake.
"I know that, but still..that's kind of how I see you.." he blushed shyly. "You're trapped in a large mansion. If that were real I would love it though, then I would be able to carry your house with me wherever I went. We could see the world."
Now giving some attention to her belly he rubbed it gently, feeling the little ones dance inside of her. "Hehe..is daddy's cake very yummy?" he cooed to them happily.

He gave her more cake?! That made her very happy indeed! Cakes were so bland when she was a human, stale too. But this was so yummy, she was probably going to be addicted to the stuff. "Wait... you think I'm beautiful?" Isabel asked, stopping herself from eating the cake. "You think I'm pretty even with my horns and tail?" Unknown to her, she didn't have those anymore. Travelling round the world sounded lovely, but that wasn't possible for them. She was stuck here... "Me too.... I'd love to see it all.....I heard so many stories over the years."
The woman looked so down thinking about it, playing with the food on her plate. That was until Mark was doing something to her tummy, she forgot to tell him they had been moving around lately.. "If they don't like it, then I'll just have their share" she smiled, trying to cheer herself up.

"Yes I do." he replied looking up at her. "You are very beautiful, even with your horns and tail. Our children are going to be beautiful too." he blushed giving her belly a soft kiss.
"I would take you everywhere with me. I want to, I know I will! We will.." he said taking her hand. "I'm not giving up on you, on our little ones, or on Us."
After a small moment he cuddled up next to her and sighed happily. "Have our children being doing anything or giving you any trouble?" he asked gently rubbing her belly. They both seemed to be moving around now, he was so happy about that.
She clearly had to be about four or five months along.

Isabel gave a small smile at what he was saying. They probably were going to be beautiful, she had to admit that her good looking genes were pretty good and so were his.
After-all what Mark had been told about the curse and her slowly approaching death, he still seemed very determined to find a way to break it and have the life he clearly wanted. It was obvious from the little story he was writing about them both. Isabel thought it was cruel to keep bringing it up to him all the time, so tried to humour him and keep positive too. "I know you won't give up on us. And you know, maybe we will get to see the world." she wasn't very good in geography, Isabel only really knew places in Europe if she was honest.
"Have our children being doing anything or giving you any trouble?" Mark asked her, it seemed like an odd question to ask. "No.. not at all. Why would they?" she asked with a curious expression before carrying on "All they have been doing is wriggle around in there, nothing much.... Although, the do seem to move more when you touch them" Isabel smiled, placed a golden strand of hair behind one ear. But it hit her, something didn't feel quite right. Something was missing. In a rush she ran to the nearest broken mirror and saw she was completely human looking now. No demon tail, no curly horns.. even her pale blue eyes were back. "Why didn't you say anything?" The woman asked her lover.

Mark shooks his head after following her. "I didn't want you to panic. After all it's not good for you or the babies." he said behind her. "I'm sorry Isabel." he sighed.
Walking up to her he stood next to the woman. She was so dainty and cute in her human form. "Human or Demon, you're still beautiful no matter what form you're in." he said quietly smiling at her.
"Does this bother you?" Mark then asked taking her hand, after all he was worried about her.

She kept parting her hair to see if there was actually a tiny horn hiding or something, but there was nothing. Her body looked full human now. Isabel was much prettier then her portrait, not that she even noticed herself. There didn't seem to be any panic or stress in her face, just very blank and pale like a ghost. "he is getting what he wanted" she muttered under her breath "I don't want you to love this look of mine... he will win.." Isabel told him with a serious look. It was horrible seeing herself like this, it was a permanent reminder of what that demon wanted now. "I think, I need to sit down" the woman told him, looking a little wobbly on her legs.

Mark was confused, but maybe she was right. After all it was Deumos that he had knocked up, not Isabel. "I have to admit it's a little awkward seeing you this way Deumos, errr..Isabel." he blushed helping her to a couch.
Maybe this was a test, if he fell for this woman she would die right? Was there a way to get her demon side back? He began to wonder for a while as they sat. Then it hit him.
"Try scaring me! See if you can use your powers on me! Maybe that will turn you back into your true form." He said looking at her with seriousness.

A smirk grew over her beautiful, innocent looking face. Now this she loved to do, never had the chance to for months in fact. Before the woman could even give him an answer, all the lights in the mansion blinked off, every single door and window leading to the outside world slammed shut, trapping him in there with her. The only glimmer of light was her glowing blue eyes, staring straight into with as she laughed demonically. "you want to be scared?... I'll show you scared" she roared with laughter before the two blue orbs of her eyes seemed to vanish infront of Mark.

He swallowed, maybe this wasn't such a good idea. After all he had gotten used to her..Mark shivered though. He hated the darkness.
"O-Of course..w-we could always try something e-else!" he studdered. She had caught him off guard. He felt a hand touch his shoulder and his heart began to race again.
He could feel a pregnant body press into his back a little, only it felt bigger than Deumos's. Mark didn't want to turn..but slowly he turned to look back at what was trying to get his attention.

There no reply from Mark's suttering words, Deumos was out to play now. No sweet and kind cuddles from Isabel anymore, for now. Her laughter echoed round the room like it did all those months ago when he first stepped into her territory.
With a light touch to his shoulder he seemed to turn around like how she wanted. Her blue eyes stood out in the inky surroundings, it sounded like she was gurgling and choking on something in the dark. A dim light lit up her body to show him what was going on. Red, human blood was pouring out from her mouth, and it even dripped from between her legs, rolling down her skin to a puddle on the ground. She had a devilish grin on her though, moving closer as strange hands seemed to bulge from under the skin of her stomach, reaching out to grab Mark.

This was even more frightening than the little girl. The moment he saw her, Mark was gone. He was screaming trying to get away, trying door after door but he was locked in.
Smart idea! Dare the pregnant demoness into scaring you! No matter he was running, running in the dark. He had no clue where he was, but found a door that seemed to be unlocked.
Opening it with a loud creek he felt around to find stairs that lead down somewhere. Not thinking he began to walk down, and when he was in the middle of the flight of stairs, the door slammed shut locking from both sides! Smart move.
He gulped, there was only one way to go now..down. When he reached the bottom he was shaking. Wherever he was the floorboards underneath him moaned loudly with each step. His heart was racing faster, Mark had no clue where he was now, or where he was going, but he knew she was close..he could almost feel her breath upon him. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all.
Before he had thought the little girl routine to be cute, but now she wasn't holding back. Part of him hoped this worked though. He hoped he could get the old Deumos back and somehow break the curse at the same time. It was the only thing he could think of. If this didn't work Mark was all out of options now. Part of him was scared, yet another part of him was happy to allow her to do this. After all they had been cuddling alot ever since he had come over.
Now entering a room, the noise of a chair rocking back and forth filled his ears. Without a flashlight he was totally unprepared for her madness. So she had caught him with his pants down, sort of.

While he was running like mad, Deumos was in his tail. Crawling around and hiding in the shadows like normal. "what's the matter Mark?" she whispered across his cheeks and neck "They just want to say hello to their daddy.." she kept laughing near Mark's ear. The sound being bounced around the stairs until it stopped once he reached the bottom.
The only noise to be heard the was squeak of the rocking chair. But that was soon replaced by a piercing scream, it sounded like a woman in great pain. Terrible in fact! "no more!" The voice cried out before another painful shriek came out of their lungs. It all went dead again, what the hell was all that about?
It all came apparent as a dim candle lit up the area of where the chair was sitting. It was Isabel, all pretty looking and wearing the kind of clothes that were described in the book. But something didn't seem quite right, she was staring into space blankly, no movement in her at all with blood in her lap.
