DarkElf27 Sean King Didn't the SoB have an updated codex in White Dwarf a while back? Yep. She's got the pages printed out and put together in a nice 3-ring binder, along with the FAQ, Apocalypse formations, and a custom cover. Some die hard Sisters fans scanned a .pdf online, amd accessing these various sources, I actually created a full codex with pages printed on both sides of cardstock. The two WD, with supplemental info on missions, army workshop, info on the Orders Militant, Apoc formations, and the FAQ. I also have cover art and an edited spine. Pictures of it are in the 40k discussion subforum in the sisters of battle thread.

This post is going to be a bunch of updates on the ever evolving Repentia squad, originally HassleFree minis (so much love for them <3), edited with FW axe heads and purity seals, and touched up/converted with Greenstuff in the way of cloth and accessories. Let me know what you think! **The one above is not finished. The Fleur de Lis has yet to be trimmed, and her backcloth hasn't been put on. There's quite a bit of work to be done on all of these, but this was one that I did tonight, just to get all ten up and on their bases, looking somewhat respectable. smile ** And finally, a side by side of the original, and a conversion. It's not that different, I don't think.

I was skeptical about this at first, but after seeing some WIP's, I'm sold! biggrin My only real complaints are that some of the joins between the axes and hands need to really be cleaned up, there is too much excess greenstuff present. Also.. When sculpting two pieces of loincloth, it helps to have them both flap in the same direction. While minor, it does detract from the miniature in my opinion, shame really as the rest look great.

Lady Blodwynn I was skeptical about this at first, but after seeing some WIP's, I'm sold! biggrin My only real complaints are that some of the joints between the axes and hands need to really be cleaned up, there is too much excess greenstuff present. Also.. The joints and mould lines will be cleaned up before priming, definitely. We've still got a bit of work left, and cleanup will be the last thing I do before priming. LadyBlodwynn When sculpting two pieces of loincloth, it helps to have them both flap in the same direction. While minor, it does detract from the miniature in my opinion, shame really as the rest look great. DE is the craftsman behind this, but I'm sure in the middle of gameplay, it wno't be distracting. He really liked the assets on the Delphine

Trimming of the Fleur and backcloth on the Taxxis is done. Now for bindings and finishing details, let it sit for a full day to harden, and THEN I CAN PRIME THEM
I'm excited smile
