"Yes," he said. "Just follow me. I'll take care of the rest." He turned and walked out of the room, expecting her to follow.

[[Akima]] "Can we just drop her off half way?" Akima asked quickly before picking Amelia back up telepathically and rushed after him. She is careful not to have Amelia bounce into the door frame to bump into anything as she followed him, hoping he'd say yes.

"No," he said, not slowing down. "We're exchanging her for a new one, if I find anything worth bringing back. If I don't find anything that I want today then I'm getting my money back. None of this is possible without going all of the way there." "If your mind is not powerful enough then you can just carry her with your body," he said. If neither is powerful enough, he thought to himself, then I may be forced to make two exchanges, today.

red_cloud333 [hey im not gonna be here on Gaia any more (ish) so ya can Phoenix runaway or somthing?} ((I'll take care of it.)) Out of patience with slaves, in general when he found Pheonix frozen in the same position as he found her before. He cursed and picked her up, carelessly flinging her over his shoulder. Normally he would be loathe to engage in so reckless an activity, but since it appeared to be contagious paralysis of some sort (which was indeed something that he had heard of some undead having the ability to inflict, albeit on a more temporary basis) and paralysis was one of the three things that all half-dragons like him were immune to (the others being sleep and their element, which was electricity, in his case). "On second thought," Matasoga said "Don't touch her. She could be contagious." He looked at her with just a touch more warmth than usual and, in a tone that would still be rather imperious by the standards of normal people said, "And right now, you're all I have left."

[[Akima]] Akima frowned, having no intention of carrying another person physically in her arms. She didn't like their bodies. They were awkward and.. very misformed. Of course, Akia had to remind herself of her new, similar body and she could only grimace to the idea. She nodded when he finished talking, watching him fling the other girl over his shoulder. Akima telepathically lifted her off of his shoulder because he seemed as uncomfortable as she would be doing the same.

[[[So can we time skip or something and just say that we took them back?]]] [[Akima]] Akima grew bored waiting for him to continue leading her to where ever he had planned. She turned her attention to the two in her possession. She twirled them upside down and had them them spin quickly before setting them back upright. She raised their hair up and made it dance and twist at her leisure.

Matasoga felt the shift and saw that Akima was now carrying both bodies. All the better, if she was capable. His draconic strength easily would have allowed carrying of both, but he refused to compromise his lordly bearing and demeanor with something like manual labor unless strictly necessary. He continued onward. ((Sure. We can do that.)) When he got to the marketplace and explained the problem and got his credit exchanged (good anywhere else in the market place) he dismissed Akima. "I trust you to go home on your own," he told her. "I'm going to lok for a suitable replacement."

[[Akima]] Akima knew the way home easily. Getting lost wasn't something that could easily happen to her. She nods in compliance."Ok, I'll see you there." She says and walks back. The odd earth town caught her attention as she headed away from Matasoga. She began to get distracted by the active, loud business that had her looking about on their way in. She turned off the way of home and began to explore this place, actively finding things to do. Later, when she was back on the path to home, she had a stolen peach and a new hidden blades for her forearms to replace her broken ones. She had easily taken these under the nose of the merchant. She is munching on the peach, absolutely engrossed in the new and fantastic flavor she discovered.

[[Akima]] Akima had finished the peach and her first bite into the seed crushed it instantly, splatterthe inside of her mouth with the crunchy splinters and pieces of it. Akima looks down at what was left of the seed in her hand, frowns, and then tosses it to the side, brushing her hands off on the side of her pants. She sees her new Master's home and upon arriving, Akima branches off to the side to explore the outside. The entire place made her baffled at the mere idea that grass was green and the dim-clouded dark sky was pigmented blue. The sound of the creatures-crickets, beetles, frogs, ect- kept her on edge as she expected something dangerous lurking around, using the sounds to some advantage over the prey here on Earth. As the night deepened, her skin began to glow, casting light for her.

Matasoga traveled up the walkway of his home, following another disappointing journey to the marketplace, taking great comfort in the knowledge that Sergius would no doubt have a camel steak cooked just as he liked it prepared for him within minutes of his return.

[[Akima]] Akima knew almost instantly when Matasoga arrived on the grounds. She had staked out the perimeter, and knew nearly every inch of the outside very well. It helps her telepathic radar if she had been to the places that she can only roughly distinguish on thye outside of her immediate radius. She finds herself beside him, with a light smile of greeting."No luck?" She prompts, speaking of his trip to the market place. Akima didn't bother looking around him for one that could be hiding. She already knew he had arrived alone.

"Not today," he said. He hadn't intended to slow down, but he missed a step when he saw her glowing. He had to look again to make sure it wasn't a trick of the light but indeed she was actually luminous. Evidently, she was telling the truth. She was indeed not of this world. He went in, deciding to see if she'd follow before saying more.
