"Scio Latinam iam, fatue machine." Emma grumbled before answering the goblin. "Ita."
((Okay, I had to. I'll type in English from now on, I swear. The last bit means yes.))

"Well if you're with them I guess you're ok," They all put away their short swords, and added."But the people at the gate will not take kindly to letting them in."

[-scrambles for a translator for the first bit-]
Scribbler raised her hands, showing she meant no harm. Besides, she wasn't about to call them heathens when they had demonstrated no such tendencies...those accusations were best left either unsaid or said by someone who was more qualified.
She followed Emma, hoping the Folk would keep their word.

Emma nodded to the goblins and walked on through, keeping the bearing of a lady despite her current state.
"I need to get my hands on a hairbrush and a new dress..." she muttered, trying to run her fingers through her hair and finding more knots than she knew what to do with.

When they arrived at the gate, the guard mage instantly replied."Oh no, no,no we can't have them here right now, especially after this last skirmish, and especially since those Silver Hearts started appearing."
He let Emma through, but blocked the path for the rest.

The wings had returned as they walked in an attempt to blend in with the local folk, and a vague attempt had been made to disguise the paladin as well...but the simulation seemed to reject those efforts.
"...We're not here to hurt your people, good sir," she half-growled in frustration. "Just trying to pass through and follow a friend."

Emma turned, finally noticing that Scribbler and the paladin were not behind her, and returned to the guard, placing a gentle hand on his shoulder and batting her eyelashes.
"Please, sir? I would be ever so grateful..."

"Oh sorry miss, I can't orders, are orders." The guard mage, looked to Scribbler."She can go, I thought she was Human, but she's a Harpy," He then turned his gaze to Farskon."but what about that one?" He asked, and pointed to Farskon. He stretched, and motioned the Paladin over.
"What?"Farskon asked uneasily, almost knowing what was coming next.
"We're going to have to take a look at your wrist." The Incola Noctis sighed.
"Why?" Farskon asked playing dumb.
"Because, we've got those Silver Hearts tearing us apart, it'll be fast turn over your wrist." He grumbled.
"No."Farskon muttered and backed away
"Hey, Captain!" He called.
"Yes Private?
"He won't let me check his wrist!" He called louder.
A captain came out from the other side of the gate, and muttered."What's the problem?" She asked, annoyed.

"The one time I try and flirt my way out of a situation and it fails..."
Emma flicked her fingers in Farkson's direction, sending a subtle but effective spell that would hide the mark on his wrist.

"The problem is we just ran into a couple of wolves," Nyrk said, hoping he was better at fast-talking than he thought. "And this man's wrist took a serious bite. I used all the bandaging we had on mine own leg, unfortunately, so we can't expose his wrist to the environment. It's a deep bite, it could get infected." Nyrk put his faith in his words, convincingly. He hoped it was believable.

The Captain thought a moment, almost for an uncomfortably long time, and sun eater just eventually rolled her eyes and twitched her antennas at all of them."Alright, we don't have time for this; just let them in." The guard mage shrugged embarrassed, and motioned them in, not bothering Nyrk to check his wrist.
Farskon winced at Emma's spell work, and the mark on his wrist rung in his head, and sent the arcane back at her; it would not accept magic.
"That was close," He muttered to all of them under his breath. The inside of the city, was not what they would have expected. The simulation malfunctioned apparently, and the inside of the city was like that of a forest.
The citizens did not take notice, and there was still many vendors, and such. Unfortunately wildlife seemed to be in the city too, and a few mages where raising wards against an angry boar, it unfortunately went loose, and started ramming towards the group.

"They keep angry boars with them in civilization?!" Nyrk exclaimed, incredulous. He quickly sidestepped the raging boar. It managed to clip him on the heel, but Nyrk rolled as he fell, displacing the damage he would have taken. The boar turned to charge him again, but Nyrk gave it a swift kick, making it squeal in ephemeral pain.

"A forest, too, apparently." The 'harpy' took wing, pulling out the stolen halbert and giving the polearm a vicious swing towards the crazed boar. It clipped the animal's side, causing both virtual conjurations to crackle with static, and came away with a red that looked entirely too false.

"Brilliant. Just brilliant."
The dratted rabid beast rammed Emma into a wall, tusks spearing what was left of her bodice. She swore quite profusely and said something about the bull's mother that most certainly did not befit a lady, and melted into the shadows with her arms over her chest.

"No kidding," Farskon agreed."Somehow I don't think this is historically accurate." The boar squealed in pain, and came stumbling towards Farskon, with angry watery eyes.
Farskon rolled to the side, and almost casted a spell, but instead sliced a part of the boars flank. It malfunctioned, and everything froze. Luckily everything re-animated again, and the boars body was almost cut right open.
