I don't think the transitive property really applies here, silly! Besides, it really has no place in the Pythagorean Theorem. By your own arithmetic, then liking trees squared plus owning lots of souls squared equals souls growing on trees squared. That really makes no sense, and the fact that you can't square root souls, etc., not the least reason for it.
However, I strongly suspect that the previous sentence was nonsense, gramatically, so we're even.
(If the smallest angle was 30 degrees, would souls growing on trees be worth twice as much as liking trees?) The sad thing is that I understand FULLY waht she's talking about... Does that make me a math geek? D= It is also fully dependant on the entire perspective of the labeling. The bottom could be a, and side could be b, or the bottom can be b, and the side a. So, it's all a matter of where you place them. Yeah really! So, souls growing on trees could actually be double of ownling lots of souls, assuming that the smallest angle was 30

Unfortunately, if one of the angles is 42 it is no longer a special right triangle, and therefore the rules of trigonometry don't apply the same way.
That just requires the Pythagorean Theorem.
