Skye turned into her demonic form and shook her head. "You can't get rid of me that easily!" she said, but instead of the usual playful grin she always had, her face was filled with sadness and hatred.
Hana let him go and fell to her knees as the emotions of the others around her were getting too strong. She shrieked and screamed in pain but knew there was nothing she could do.
Momo and Tally looked at GD before pulling out their weapons. "Not if we have anything to say about it!" they said together when they heard Hana's scream. They got themselves ready to attack, not caring if Erik wanted them too or not.
Rin's spirit hid in a tree nearby when she heard Erik's thoughts. "Didn't I tell you? No one can control your fate but yourself. And if you let him kill you, then I'll annoy you everyday in hell. Trust me, that'll be torture itself." she said to him in their thoughts.

Erik smirked a little at Rin's comment. Trust me, he thought, I studied my options. He looked at Skye. "I'm sorry." he muttered and created a forcefield around him, keeping everyone except Escalus out.
GD got his sword out as it extended to it's full length, about the size of a giant oak tree.
Roy got out his swords and stayed around Lena, protectively.
Escalus tried to run back to Hana, but the souls were way too strong. He lost all control of himself and stormed towards Erik. Once he entered the area, and explosion of strength hit everyone. "Armageddon," he growled in thousands of different voices. "We've come for you!" he said as he pointed his sword at him.

Skye hissed when she felt the forcefield around her. "Erik! Don't you dare!" she shouted at him.
Rin looked around still hidden. "But Erik, there's no such thing as the only way. You have to keep thinking. Don't sacrifice yourself for nothing. Please Erik, I can't stand seeing Skye like this." she said to him as she saw Escalus. She felt the thousands of souls and she shook her head.
Momo and Tally felt the forcefield and then saw Escalus. They shook their heads as tears started falling. "Escalus don't do this!" she shouted before Tally stood in front of her. "Where's Hana?" she asked in a hiss.

Escalus tried to say something, but the souls wouldn't allow him to do anything. "Out of my way!" he roared and sent Tally flying.
GD caught Tally and gently set her down.
Neither can I, Erik admitted. But either Escalus and I die, or.... he looked at Skye and everyone else for a second.

Tally smiled when GD caught her but her attention went right back to Escalus and Erik. She stood up and grabbed her scythe as she waited to see what would happen.
Rin smiled and looked over at Erik. "I can help Erik. So let me. I mean, I can't die since I'm already dead." she said to him with a giggle.

So are all the souls that- Erik was cut off when Escalus slashed at his arm. "Damn." he hissed and grabbed his arm. "He's fast."
Escalus laughed insanely. "How does it feel, Armageddon?" he asked and slashed at him again. "How does it feel to slowly die?!"
Erik got out his swords and struggled to block the attacks. He pushed Escalus back and slashed his chest.
Escalus growled and twirled his sword around, creating a tornado of flames and darkness.

Rin jumped down from the tree to show her form. She looked the same as before but with a white ghostly glow to her. She looked at Escalus with pleading eyes. "Please stop. Those souls, they're not your people. They're demons. You have to stop, don't let them control you." she said to Escalus in calm voice as she stood in front of Erik. Her voice was different as well, more soothing and high pitched.
Skye turned back to normal when she saw Rin. She smiled at her and waved. "Rin! What are you doing?" she called out to her. Rin just smiled at her and waved back.

For a second, Escalus' eyes looked normal, but it quickly changed back. "Leave!" he roared in thousands of voices as his sword pulsed, wanting Rin's soul. He aimed his sword at Rin's heart, his sword could hurt souls, too, and lunged.
Erik pushed Rin out of the way and took the impact of the sword piercing his heart.

Rin shook her head when she saw the sword pierce Erik through his heart. "Haji!" she called out. Haji flew down and roared as he grabbed Escalus and threw him into a tree.
Skye watched as Erik got pierced. Tears fell from her face as she screamed in agony.
Hana could feel someone being stabbed and felt someone losing their life. She screamed and shrieked in pain as her hand rested against her heart as if she was stabbed as well.

Erik fell to his knees as blood poured out of his heart and mouth. With the little energy he had, he pulled the sword out and threw it at Escalus.
Escalus got up then gagged out blood when the sword came through his stomach and pinned him to the tree. The sword devoured every soul.
"Armageddon!" GD cried.

Hana could barely move as she felt the pain of everyone around her. "You could've walked away Escalus. You didn't have to do this." she said to him in her thoughts, hoping he could hear her.
Tally and Momo could hear Hana's screams and they knew what was wrong. 'Hana!" they shouted out to her.
Rin sighed as she took the sword of Escalus and then took the sword out of Erik. She motioned for Haji to follow her before she looked at Skye and GD. "This isn't over you two. I'll bring them back. Both of them. Just please, stay calm." she said as she returned to hell to bargain with the devil.
Skye broke through the forcefield and ran over to Erik. She kneeled by his side and looked at him. "I love you too Erik." was all she could say as she couldn't find the voice to speak.

Erik breathed slowly and heavily as he looked at Skye. He was laying in a pool of blood and was extreemley pale. He slowly caressed her cheek and, for the first time, smiled with actual kindness. "I.........I don't want.....to see......that pretty smile go...away...." he said softly.
Escalus held his side as he slowly died. I tried Hana, he said as he began to cry. I wanted so badly to forgive and forget. I tried so hard. I just...I couldn't do it.....I'm so sorry........ he thought and looked at the sky. Clouds covered the sky as raindrops began to fall down. "Hana...." he whispered with his dying breath.
Lena covered her mouth and began to cry.
Roy held Lena. "It's...It's not over, is it?" he asked GD. "I mean, Rin said she'd bring them back, right?" He needed something to comfort him, too.
GD shook his head sadly and slowly. "The devil won't listen." he whispered. "He's been trying to get Armageddon's soul for a long time..."

Skye smiled through her tears and nodded at him. "I promise ok." she said as she turned back to look at GD. "He will. I don't care if my father wants his soul or not. I'll get him to give it back." she said with determination. "It's not his soul to take." she said before she left.
Hana heard what he said and then heard him say her name. She cried but smiled. "Escalus...." she said as she closed her eyes.
Tally and Momo had left, finding Hana laying on the ground close to passing out. "Come on Hana, it's ok." said Tally as she helped lift Hana up. Momo helped lift her as well as they headed back to the group.

GD, Lena, and Roy looked at Escalus' dead body then at the rain.
"Even the angels are crying..." Roy whispered.
Erik looked at Lena weakly. "L-Lena...." he whispered. "I'm sorry....for what I put.....you through...." he said.
Lena sniffed and nodded her head. "I forgive you..." she cried.
Erik smiled then looked at GD. "GD.....You were probably.....the best man....I ever knew...." he said.
GD nodded, crying again.
Erik slowly looked at the sky and felt the rain hit his face. "Do you think.......that Heaven.......would cry for me?" he whispered as his pupils enlarged, signaling his death.
((ah, im about to cry crying ))

((i know!!! my eyes keep tearing up!!!))
Hana woke up and heard what Erik said. "Just because you're a demon, doesn't mean Heaven hates you. They're crying for all of us." she said even though she knew he had already died. She leaned against Momo and nudged Tally.
Tally looked at Hana when she nudged her and then looked at GD. She walked over to him and stood in front of him. She lifted his chin so that he was looking at her and then she wiped the tears of his cheek. "It's going to be ok. Have a little faith in Skye and Rin. They'll work things out." she said softly as she smiled at him, hoping to cheer him up.
