"Personally, I wouldn't ask the gods. I've heard nothing but bad things. One man had seen everyone he ever knew die. Attended all their funerals. He wanted to die, but the one he worked for wouldn't let him. I know of no other ways of doing it." She kept her sadness hidden. It had been too long since she had had a companion.


"Sure, you think it's funny now. But try swimming after me and catching me with one arm, ya cripple!" She swam away from him as quickly as she could, dipping under the water before coming up for air. Oh, she was going to get him back for this!

She didn't have time to change but had her bay saddled and ready as she took one of her small knifes and made the slits up the sides of her gown so she could freely ride. She then mounted and dead for the docks. At some point because of her speed she was traveling through town her hood did fly back showing who she was.

She dismounted at the docks and quickly found someone able to fairy her accross.. She hated the water though always made her sick which was sad since she lived on a island, was queen of one but she would bear it. As she did so much for soon he would be lost in her mind.

Alastor watched as she suddenly left. He couldn't fathom why she would go. Though he finally had her and now she was doing... what? Sitting in a chair, he had someone go tell Argo the news. He sat there and opened a small mirror, watching what she was doing. It would be hell if something happened to her and he couldn't just grab her away from it.

"I'm not sure how I will do it, but it seems like it might take me a few more years. I heard this was the place to find another piece of the puzzle. So I can't tell where else it will take me." Ben said to her, plucking at the strings again.

Black just started to walk towards where she was going. He stopped at a certain point and grinned as she got further and further away. "I'm not going to chase you, Sarah." He said and just stood there.

The form opened the door and made its way in, walking into the main hall looking around with its large sword tracing down its back and its hood still on its head. It just stood int the middle of the main hall looking around wondering where exactly everyone was

She didn't say a word. She feared that if she opened her mouth to speak, in a heart beat her teeth would be piercing his flesh. "Maybe in a few years you won't want it. If you ever decide to try the darker path... Be careful of who your sire is."


"Fine! Then maybe I'll just go home and go to bed!" She stuck her tongue out and moved to the far bank to climb out.

Ignoring everyone around him, Alastor stared into the mirror. He was starting to feel... remorse? He didn't kill Matachi though, he had done it to himself. The whole thing wasn't meant to get him to kill himself. It was just meant to crush his spirit. Though now, he was out of the way and she was open to being killed before anyone could save her. Now however, he couldn't find himself able to lift a dagger to her back or chest. Sitting where he was, he watched the tears go down her face. It hurt him as well. Lifting his hand, he moved it like he was there, brushing the tear away. Where she was, she would feel something caressing her face and brushing the tears away. He felt like he had to.

"A darker path? I was told that it wasn't possible for someone like me. Someone told me... that my blood was too pure. While vampires would find me thirst quenching, that it would drive them away with even a taste. I have no idea what they meant, but it amused me." Benjamin said, twanging one specific string. "I doubt that's true."

Watching her, Black rolled his eyes. "Oh c'mon, don't be that way." He said, trying to follow her over to the other shore. It was awfully hard with only one arm.
