Holly concentrated on the light until she came to where Liam was with the cat. ''Liam, are you okay....''

She spotted the cat and squeaked, ''Aw, he's so cute!''

Dream smiled. Liam was fine, and he seemed to be enjoying the presence of the cat, who apparently radiated light. So all things were good.

But something still didn't feel right. Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that there seemed to be too much light around here. With him controlling light, two angels, and a cat who seemed to possess it as well... Would the demon group sense them? If so, then they were all in danger. He kept an eye out, ready for them to appear.

Dream was still looking around the skies, when he heard Holly. "Definately. We should stick together. With two angels, a fairy, a "traitor" demon, me and Crystal, and now a light kitten, we should always be on guard for that group of demons. I don't want any of us to be at risk." He continued glancing skyward occasionally as he headed back to the way they had come, turning and waiting for the others to follow.

Haucon looked at Leila, she looked healthier and less pale. "You look much better, love." he said in his slightly accented voice. He made a mental note to thank Dream and Holly in depth in the near future. "How do you feel?" he asked her, running a hand through his hair. He wanted to touch her, make sure she was real, hold her hand, but he was feeling a little shy about public displays of affection. He looked over in Liam's direction, and felt the flash of energy through him again. Jealousy. Finally he admitted that it was a strong enough emotion to acknowledge with a name. He laughed at himself a bit, shook his head. He looked at Leila shyly, hoping to see in her that his worries were unfounded.

Haucon smiled and shook his head again. His face began to go pinkish, a thing which to his knowledge hadn't happened since he was very small. He felt his face flush, and was immediately angry with himself. Leila kissed his nose and he felt even more blood rush to his face. He couldn't look at her just now. Haucon turned slightly and stared resolutely at the ground, as though perhaps it'd provide a rapid exit. It didn't. No big surprises there.

'It's nothing.' was in fact the first thing that had popped into his mind, but with this phrase removed from his vocabulary, it was like having his feet cut out from under him. He floundered. "I...it's...er..." was all he managed to get out at first. He kicked himself mentally. Just tell her. part of him shouted. Fine. He thought angry at himself still, but with a sheepish edge. We'll see how this goes. "Jealousy." he whispered with a sigh, turning away so as not to see her face.

Kihaku walked slowly through the streets of the city, her deep blue eyes alert and moving as she continued onward. She had left the care center almost a week ago and by now was very lost. Smiling slightly, she laughed at her lack of direction, wondering why she had even left the security of the underground center.

She knew though. Lately, no matter what she did, she kept getting this feeling of dread, espically at the care center. And she knew it had something to do with her. It was better to risk herself, than to risk the people that had helped to heal her. So here she was: alone, lost and still feeling that odd sense of dread.

Haucon sighed but faced Leila as she turned his face. "You didn't do anything wrong!" he said hurriedly, pulling his head from her grasp and looking away again for a second. "It's just..." he started, turning and looking at her again. "I...I care about you a lot." he said awkwardly, "And I don't want anything to happen to you." he said taking hold of her upper arms, perhaps a bit too tightly. He let go suddenly and his hands dropped to his sides. "It's silly. I'm sorry Leila." he said slowly. "Just forget it alright?" he added, looking into her eyes. He leaned in and kissed her cheek gently and quickly.

Holly giggled, "Since when have we ever been safe since all of this started?"

She glanced around the little threesome, watching the surroundings.
