Shinobi_8745 Anyways, the promised Zagstruk models... :B Sorry if the pictures seem big ;0 I really like this... I hope I can get my hands on something like this! blaugh Also... TankBustaz can do alot of damage if you can position them in the right area. Like under cover while in shooting distance of the nearest tank is a great example. If yo can get them closer where they can release their bomb squigs can turn the tide and make a better victory... on another note... I like to bring a bunch of Kommandoz with me so I can use their Infiltrate and Move through cover ablities to get the upper hand and then take care of any annoying infantry that is in my way...

Last friday I got to try my hand at the new ork codex for the first time, being a long time fan of the past incarnations of the orks I gotta say... OMFG the new book is incredible! I have never wanted to use meganobs until now, I can't believe how powerful they are especially when a WAAAGH! is called! My 7 bikers proved that even demolisher cannons can't stop them from tearing up the battlefield (3 lived after a D-Canon, a heavy bolter team and another platoon shot into them... GO BIKERS!!!) last but not least, the new trukk explosion rules are hilarious, I actally look forward to blowing up my trukks very simply to see what mayhem occurs (flooring it 25" with red paint in front of a squad, then rolling a 1-2 on the chart is amazing, I took out a guard platoon with my trukks destruction!!! XD Needlesss to say this friday my boyz will be grouping for another chance to smash some 'eads and I got my eyes set on some of them chaos lads as trophies!

The only effective way to field meganobz nowdays is having both Ghazzie and Grottie in the same army, letting Ghazzie and 5 meganobz sit in a trukk, turboboost closer to the enemy, and wait for the next turn, and give them cybork body through Grottie, since I don't like the idea with a 2+ save and no inv save to back it up.
Anyways, if you like them now, just wit till the new rule edition... Walk 6", run D6", next turn, walk, WAAAGH! fleet, assult, combat, happiness~<3

When they just were out I got my eyes to the Green tide, and WHOHOO! Mob-up-lookalike rules! >:3
I also like the SAG battery... I'm so getting one when I got all boyz painted up and ready for aporkalypz, I don't want to get more orks on my hands than I can handle. xD

Hey there Ork brothas! My favourite time with the Orks involved a one-shot chance, in which Ghazkull effectively assaulted 18' after having most of the ladz shot up. He then single-handedly destroyed a squad of terminators which took two turns, failed to get into combat with another group, but survived several missles, plasma canons, and bolter fire, and got stuck in again! Nothing like having a single-character massacre a shooty army, just gives me happy feelings all over.

That ghazzie survived all that was just plain luck if you ask me, but it seems like good ol' Ghazzie allright! But me myself enjoy using Big Meks and lots of specialist units. ;3

Clearly good sir, it was the favour of Mork and Gork, protecting their Prophat. wink Yes luck... ;0 Gork and Mork favours my Big Mek, Thrugg Gobsmash'd. :B He's been through some serious s**t... xD Including beating Daemon Princes with his own choppa. :'3 I need to use lil Ghazzie myself sometime, but first I want a 4-5 mob strong of Meganobz, and field them in a trukk, having lil Grottie in my army as well so that I can give them Cybork Bodies, 2+ save just don't do it, they'll be drawing so much fire they need an inv. save like Ghazzie... D: I'm eager to find someone around here willing to meet my Goff-based list, TONS of foot-sloggin' units, mainly based on the army in the book, adding/changing some units. :B

Kumori the Shadow Prince Any one here part of da Kult of speed? I suppose I would qualify, given that my in-progress Ork army consists of nothing but warbikes and deffkoptas, but it isn't done so I haven't really gotten a chance to field it yet.

No, it's not good to use buggies (not bad either), koptas are way better, for a 5 points extra the thing can FIGHT! And have a higher survivability. o 3o;

Both Bikes and Deffkoptas can have power klaws in addition to thier dakkaguns/bigshootas, and deffkoptas can have KMB's or rokkits. Plus, one bolter shot and the buggy could either get killed or not be able to shoot. I'd rather lose a guy or two and still be lethal.
