[[I'm pretty sure the Ravenclaw Common room is circular, but it's hard to fit rectangular books comfortably on rounded shelves, if that makes any sense, so I would assume that, with the bookshelves, there would be wide corners throughout.
Yep. Latin. It's part of a song. Let's see...Fate, monstrous and empty...Come, come, oh come, do not let me die. The translation of the song can be rather creepy and might not make cohesive sense (the way most english song lyrics do, as in telling a story), but it's really nice to listen to and sing. I have another favorite part, but it's not in the signature. That might change in time, though.

Lyra wakes up to the sound of Miranda yelling. She jumps out of bed, thinking something horrible is happening, and runs down the stairs. She sees all the new people and sighs with relief. "Miranda! Did you have to yell so loud?" Lyra tries to glare at her, but fails after only a few seconds and laughs. She introduces herself to the first years. "Welcome to Ravenclaw. I'm Lyra." She turns to the others. "What year are we in now? I think I kind of forgot. Sometimes I wonder how I ever managed to get into Ravenclaw..." Lyra grins and plops herself down into the nearest chair.

Miranda lifted her head a little, still half asleep. She heard yelling, so she figured it was morning. Against her better judgement, knowing her fellow ravencvlaws, she got up and went downstairs. Much to her relief, it was just Lyra and Miranda. "Hey guys. What's up?" She said, throwing herself into her favorite chair by the fire.

Mikki opened her eyes slowly, knowing it was probably time she woke up. She looked around herself, and remembered she went to sleep in the common room. She sighed slowly, then sat up in her chair and thought about the new term. "Hey, you guys gonna sign up for the new class we have? History of Magic?" She stretches and slumps back down into a slouch.

Miranda walked over to mikki and gave her her usual hug. "Of course! As long as you're not a boring teacher or forget about us!" She said, with a laugh.
