Slaine was pleased Mizi took him up on his offer of dessert afterward. With the waitress's second leave, he concluded she was either naturally friendly or fishing for a healthy tip. There could be no way a young girl like herself could be happy while serving demanding custumors all day, could there? He shook the thought from his head as he allowed the soft Italian music to soothe him. He was a fan of many types of music as long as it wasn't loud and vulgar.
Being aware of Mizi's orphange background, Slaine understood how he wouldn't know of his heritage. "You could be," he replied somberly. "I think you can be whatever you want, if you really want it." That was a part of his thinking. If someone wanted something bad enough, it would come true. It may have been thought of as only fairytale wishes, but it always left hope in what could be an empty future.
The question came as somewhat of a shock to him. "Huh?" he asked, eyes quickly traveling up to see that offered smile. "Of course I'm having a fun time. Please, don't worry about me. I'm fine." There was a certain mixture of sadness and truthfulness in his eyes. He didn't expect that sadness to leave him no matter what he did. Not until Shinto returned, anyway. Even so, he was going to try to not let it affect him. Mizi took him out today to try and make him feel better, and he didn't want him to feel as if he hadn't accomplished that. "What I want to know is if you're having a good time. Well, are you?"

Violet eyes softened. Mizi couldn't help worrying at least a little bit. He was happy with the affirmation that Slaine was having a good time, but those pretty brown eyes caused a hint of doubt to form in Mizi's mind. Sadness...
Mizi also easily noted that Slaine didn't smile at him. Not once. He sighed inwardly. He couldn't expect so much from the other. Perhaps he was a fool for even wishing for the possibility that Slaine might forget about his precious Shinto for a day, an hour, a moment.
Well, it didn't matter. He was just going to have to keep trying. Not to get Mizi wrong, he liked Shinto like anyone else. He didn't have a particular feeling of closeness or attachment for the other boy, but he did enjoy his company and find him easy enough to get along with. He missed him and certainly hoped no harm came to him. Mizi was very worried about Shinto. But his focus... just wasn't on the popular prostitute. It was on Slaine who... was asking him a question?
"I'm sorry, what?" Mizi asked, coming out of a little daze. All he had heard is 'Well, are you?'
At that moment, however, Mandy arrived back with their drinks, interrupting their conversation.
"Here you go, boys! Dr. Pepper for you and a Cherry Coke for you!" she exclaimed perkily as she placed each drink in front of the respective customer. "It should only be a few more minutes on the food." With that, the waitress moved away and tended to the few other customers in the room: couples on lunch dates. Such irony.

Tenshi couldnt help but laugh as well, only slightly. He knew, inside the man wasnt laughing at him. So, he wasn't owner?
" But, you seem so professional..."
-And charming, but he only mumbled this part. These emotions were slightly strange, but he would figure it out later, he was sure. Following him, none the less, he was smiling all the way.
" So, do you stay here too? "

"I do. At least... I assume I do. I only just began working here, really, so... I suppose I'll just find an empty room and stay there."
It was obvious that this was the first time the man had considered just where he was going to sleep, although really, he never though it would be by himself. Not to mention, he wouldn't mind showing the boy exactly why they called this place a Gentlemen's Club... but that was for another time. For now, he would simply show him to his room, make him as comfortable as possible, and do everything in his own power to keep his hands of the younger boy.
During this thought process, the older man lapsed into silence, leading on without saying a word, until they reached a door, which, after a sharp knock, Johann determined was empty.
"This one should do..."
He said, opening the door for the young guest.
"Do you need anything else? Want me to carry your bags into the room for you? They look heavy..."
His tone was once of genuine concern, and he smiled at the boy as he ushered him inside.

Nolas A quick glare followed Alex in and out of the kitchen, noting his haste. It was a mixture of amusement and annoyance that Radevel found in his boys' fear. Amusement because he knew he was the one pulling this fear into them, forcing each and every one into submission. Annoyance because he found it terribly pathetic that they run like abused pups. He placed a large, undeniably strong hand on Ashley's shoulder before turning him toward the door and leading him out. "This way," he said, stepping out just behind him. "My office is just upstairs."
"Okay... But first could you please loosen your grip off of my sholder?" he shook off his hand and headed upstairs to his office ahead of Redevel.

rionkybikun Zayroen rionkybikun Zayroen rionkybikun "so..wat is it you wish to do now...?" he asked him warmly and softly to hid his small nervous heart that was pounding a bit. he didnt know wat else to do and feared the other was getting bored and might not like staying like this so he tried to opt for converstation...somehow. FIore looked into Sabriels eyes and leaned up to gently press his lips to the others his heart fluttered for a moment before he melted and kissed back eagerly and ran a hand up and down his side softly and soothingly. Fiore opened his mouth slightly and pressed closer with a sigh With a soft sigh, he slipped his tongue inside the hot cavern and felt himself get even more hot. Once they parted for air, he gave the other a firm look. "are you sure you really wish to do this with me now...?" he asked softly. Fiore panted softly and nodded "i...i dont know what to do...but i want to, with you" he said softly

He didn't have a room? Tenshi said nothing, as they walked the rest of the way. He oculdnt believe someone as sweet as this man had no clue where to spend his nights..This just wouldn't do! Wehn they finally reached the door, the struggling boy paused to catch his breath. Geez! This suitcase was heavy! At least, for his small stature anyway. He had been dragging the suitcase along the ground, a bit exhausted. Wiping his brow he exhaled, letting out a breath sigh.
Grateful for the offer, Tenshi smiled somewhat nervously.
" Oh um. Yes..But its ok. We have already arrived, so, I can carry it inside. Thank you kindly thou. If you want, you can share my room with me. If you are unsure of as to where to sleep, you can share with me until you do. I don't mind, besides, I don't take up much space and i'm sure the bed's to big for me anyway. "
Well, it was true. A queen sized bed was like a friggen chunk of texas layed out into a huge plain for him. Being so small, he didn't require much room to sleep. At least this way, he was safe in knowing the man would sleep comfortably. Giving an honest smile, the boy seemed thrilled with the man staying over, to him, it was like a sleepover he never had. Oh this would be fun! They could talk, and do all sorts of things he never got to do with people before. As dirty as it sounded, it was all in innocent fun. To the navie young boy, he had no clue how related to sex his thoughts were to. Getting close to people had always been hard for him, as they mostly ignored him, so having someone speak so kindly to him made him extremely happy inside.
" So, will you sleep with me tonight, Mr Johann? Im sure we could have lots of fun!-"
Whoa, too bad Tenshi had -no- idea how wrong that sounded, but he continued.
"- We can talk and you can tell me more about yourself. You seem very nobal, are you from around here? "

Throughout this adorable little speech, Johann's brow made a slow ascent, until it was firmly rooted in an utterly confused expression, somewhere near his hairline.
"You... want me to..."
Coughing slightly, Johann turned his head away, covering his mouth to stifle another laugh.
"As pleasant as I'm sure that would be, I'll have to check with the Lady of the house first, I'm afraid."
Nodding, Johann reached down, lifted the heavy case out of the boy's hands with one strong motion, and walked into the room with it over his shoulder.
"Come on."

Aw...The boy looked disappointed. Frowning, he walked in after him.
" But..- Oh ok.."
Looking like a child denied going to the zoo, he didn't bother looking around the room until the door was shut. Lifting his lilac hues, he began to glance around before nervously gently pulling on one of his eartails again. It almost looked like ht was petting his eartail but really he was gently pulling it. He couldnt help it, it was just hanging there to, his eartails proved useful sometimes, gave him something to play with when nervous.
" Wow..this room is big. "
Walking over to the window, he glanced out, pulling on the window sill to try and look over it. Being so short, it was hard, finally he gave up and went over and climbed up onto the bed and sat himself down.
"Will you stay with me a while ? "
The tiny voice said, filled with curiousity.

After pausing a moment to consider, Johann walked over to the bed and tucked the suitcase under it, then turned to look at the boy with a gentle smile on his face.
"You really aren't used to being alone, are you?"
The question was asked kindly enough, and, after another pause to think, Johann snapped his fingers with an idea.
"I've got it... I'll be right back, okay? I promise I'll be quick."
Johann waited, patiently, still standing next to the bed, wanting to make sure the boy was comfortable before he went anywhere.

With that, Johann turned and walked from the room, shutting the door behind him. The silence in the room was peaceful, but it wasn't long before the door reopened and Johann stepped back inside, once more closing the door behind him. Over his shoulder was a small black tracelling bag, which he set on the bed next to the boy before sitting down himself. He pulled the bag into his lap, opening it up and pulling from it a large, leatherbound book, which he offered to the boy with a smile.
"Here. This oughtta entertain you for a while."

Covering the pages of this book were dozens of drawings, in pencil and charcoal. Mostly of people, but some of them were of... just... things. As his own art teacher had said, he had a knack for making thing look dignified. As so they did, all of the people in the images in artistic repose, comtemplating the meaning of life.
"Well?"
Was the question that came, and it was clear from his tone that the man was actually curious what the boy thought of his work.

Wow! Seemingly amazed, he seemed almost entraced by the mans artwork. Flipping slowly through the pages.
" You drew these..? These are stunning!...I like this one.."
He pointed to one of an old woman with her dog laying on her lap. They seemed to be staring out into a sunset of somekind.
"You really have a talent..these are so beautiful.."
