And Dimi you basically modify it pixel by pixel, change the shape of the eyes, the eyebrows and the mouth. It's strangely difficult for something that looks so simple... sweatdrop

Dimi, if you have photoshop, you could try pasting that sakura image on a layer above the original sprite, and set ther blending mode to "Multiply". This mode treats all white as transparent. Worth a shot..

If I don't want the rosepetals to be transparent, how do I do that?

Use the magic wand tool, and click on the white. But, you might want to change the tolerance number down or up, but with it, you can delete the white, and the petals will remain... you'll see...
OH AND make sure the petals are in a separate layer!
