Only Info I really know about the Tau: Ethreals may now have firewarrior command squads with +1 to their BS. Also, Ethreals now only give the bonuses to models in LOS with them.

Dryfolius cool, wanna know what i just realized? Tau are only really good with lots of point battles? My experience puts it theother way round, actually. Tau are ungodly strong in small points battles, but it gets more and more difficult for them as the points ramp up.

Hey, anyone know when the new Tau codex is coming out?
Plus, give me a moment to rant.... I've stopped playing with my usual group of friends because they're constantly breathing down my neck. Two of them bug the crap outta me, and have this thing with HAVING to know what I have, but I don't want them to know till the actual battle. So, they'll actually get into my things and dig around to find them, then wig out when I tell them no. My other friend will DEFEND them and can't keep a secret, so if I do tell him, he tells everyone else. So, I've decided to tell them that I've quit altogether, but keep building my army and play with two friends that DON'T CARE. They don't care if they win- they just want to have fun. And they're going to back me up on my little lie. Eventually, I'm going to go to the biggest, baddest player, with the army he has no idea I have, and challenge him. When the battle is done, hopefully he'll be humbled, he'll stop swearing his head off, and HE'LL KEEP HIS HANDS OFF MY THINGS!!!!! Thank you for listening to my ranting.

Lol interesting rant. Now for my point being proven. This coming months white dwarf has on the back a image of the Tau empire. Now note the Stealth suits. Look carefully. 2 of them have the exact same pose. The other one is the commander Im guessing. Now dose anyone doubt my thesis about the suits being metal?

I'm sure you'll find a few of those that look identical. I once fashioned two marines into IDENTICAL poses, just for the hell of it.

Reddemon Chakra_Thief Wrong. The Skyray's seeker missles HAVE to use the markerlights on the Skyray itself, they cannot use marker lights from Pathfinders. I personally really dislike the Skyray, because i feel it's a huge waste of points for little effectiveness. Due to having to use it's own lights, the unlimited range of the missiles is of no use, plus when you run out of seeker missles, your sitting there with a couple hundred points of tank being defended by a smart missle system. If your opponent has no tanks or aircraft, the thing is essentially useless. Lone Chars, Monsterous Creatures, Annoying things such a land speeders. Itl have lots of uses. & please give your source for saying it has to use its own. & you forget itl probly be allowed to have the normal missles My source? How about the rules for the vehicle? Imperial armour Update 2004. it is not allowed to buy additional missles from the armoury, either. If you need to see it for yourself, find a copy of the Update '04 or the Taros Campaign nook.

along with the phiranas GW has written its own rules for the vehicals so the forge world ones will no longer be valid (as it states on all GW forge world cross overs) although i doubt they will change the vehical that much it is likley to be more useful to tau players than it currently is as GW do want to sell some of them

I counter with the Pewter Deamon Termis. Ive heard that there a big hype about em being plastic & look at em now. & in my opinion the new plastic termis look alittle heaver & accutally look like they couldnt keep going after winning a combat
