Donovan grinned when the redness returned to her cheeks. She was so beautiful when she blushed, and so cute when she was flustered. However, when she countered his question, his grin faded. He turned his head, looking away. "I'm not handsome," he said.

Elizabeth undid their hands and she sat up gently, placing her hands on his chest. She grabbed his chin with one of her hands making him look at her into her deep stary blue gaze.
"Hn, not by my standers. To me you are," she told him gently as she leaned up and gently placed her lips onto his in a tender kiss. She stayed there a moment before she pulled away and removed her hand from his chin to brush his bangs back.

Donovan was sure he'd angered her when he felt her hand leave his. His other arm fell back to his side as she sat up. When she made him look at her, he blinked in surprise.
At her words, he blushed faintly, unable to meet her eyes. But when he felt her lips on his, his eyes widened for a moment before he kissed her back. When she pulled away, he smiled warmly but didn't speak.

Elizabeth smiled back just as warm as she saw his smile. Putting her hands on either side of his head she lowered herself back down, her face only inches from his. She closed her eyes and let out a short burst of chuckles. After she finished chuckling she reopened her eyes and tilted her head to the side slightly as she watched him, her rail falling down to brush his cheeks slightly.

Donovan looked at her hands on either side of his head before looking back up at her. He raised an eyebrow when she suddenly started quietly laughing, confused. What was so funny? But, he didn't ask. Her hair brushed against his cheeks as he looked up at her. He suddenly leaned up, pressing his lips against her. But, unlike her kiss, he didn't pull back right away.

Elizabeth's eyes widened slightly at his kiss but quickly the slight shock faded and she closed her eyes, kissing back. Opening her eyes she stared at him. Wanting. Thats what she felt flowing through her body at that moment. She wanted more of him.

To Donovan, the rest of the world faded away. It didn't exist. He felt nothing but her lips on his and her weight on top of him. In fact, his relief that she didn't pull back or slap him didn't even register. His eyes drifted shut, savoring the moment as if it were the last one he'd ever have.

After a few moments Elizabeth finally pulled away, keeping her face in front of his. Lifting one of her hands from beside his head she ran her fingers through his hair. She then placed her forhead against his and closed her eyes and just sat there.

Donovan opened his eyes when Elizabeth pulled back. He pouted childishly but it didn't stay for long. He sighed quietly, blissfully, when she ran her fingers through his hair. He wasn't sure why but the action always soothed him, even if he wasn't upset.
Feeling her forehead against his, he smiled weakly though kept his eyes closed. The moment was perfect and he didn't ever want it to end.

Elizabeth breathed lightly, slowly opening her eyes so they were partly open. Lifting her head slightly she moved her head up and placed a gentle kiss along his forhead gently. She kept her lips there for a long moment, just sitting there kissing it repeatedly.

Donovan opened his eyes again when he felt Elizabeth move. He blinked when he felt her kiss his forehead then sighed contently and closed his eyes again. Though, while he seemed content on the outside, on the inside, he wanted more. Did he dare risk it? Well, why not? If she ended up hating him, it wouldn't be any different than when she first arrived, except that she would be married to him and not engaged to Theo. "Would you hold it against me if I said I wanted to make love to you?" he asked in a whisper before opening his eyes to try and read her reaction.

Elizabeth stilled completely above him for a moment as her mind regestured his question. Lifting herself up gently so she could look down at him. She stared him for the longest moment, then after deciding what to do she slowly shoke her head. "No, I would not," she said simply with a light smile pulling at her lips. She was in fact telling the truth.

Donovan was sure his heart would burst from his chest in the silent seconds following his question. He wanted to punch himself in the head for being so stupid but there was no going back now. The question had been asked. All he could do was wait for the answer.
He watched as Elizabeth lifted herself up to look down at him. He looked up at her, trying to figure out whether she would yell at him or not. He didn't think so but, with women, a guy could never be sure. When she shook her head and finally spoke, he relaxed, smiling up at her. Leaning up, he pressed a tender kiss to her cheek. Just because he had asked the question then didn't mean he would make a move, yet. No. He would wait.

Elizabeth held in a giggle as she felt him relax beneath her. She placed her hand on her cheek were he kissed her and she grinned. Suddenly she slipped herself off of him and sat by his side and stared at him curiously. "So," she asked dragging the word out, not knowing what to say or do now.
