"Then how about you grab some food for them?" Lin suggested, "We're not quite done here yet and we still need to find Lancaeriel so... we'll meet you out front?"
That seemed like as good a place as any.

"Okay!" Andarien beamed. "I'll see you in a bit!"
He scooped up some food from the table and headed back towards his bed chamber to take care of his Pokemon and tell them the good news.
As Andarien left, Earendil turned to Lin and asked, "Is Lancaeriel sharing a room with anyone or does she have a room of her own?"
If she had her own room, they might have to go up and look for her, if no one here knew where she was; if she had a roommate, said roommate might be down here and possibly be able to tell them where she was.

Lin was about to say something but closed her mouth after a moment, "I'm not sure... I don't think she has a roommate?"
At least she was pretty sure that Lancaeriel didn't have a roommate.

Earendil chuckled. "Then perhaps we should just check her room. Or we could ask Aerin or Caranthir, they would know for sure if she has a roommate or not."
He nodded towards the head of the table, where the king and queen were just standing up to leave the table. He spotted Rhea there as well, her staff in hand, and tilted his head thoughtfully.
"Then again, we could just ask Rhea, and she would know exactly where Lancaeriel is," he added as an afterthought.

"Actually that's a good point," Lin murmured, "I mean for all anyone knows maybe Lancaeriel is in the library... or something. Probably we should ask Rhea."
Getting off her seat, she checked to see if Rhea was there before going off to look for Rhea.

Rhea was only a few steps behind Aerin and Caranthir as they made their way towards the door, right past Lin and Earendil. Earendil flagged her down and asked her if she knew where Lancaeriel was. Rhea thought about it a moment before replying that Lancaeriel had eaten earlier and was in her bedchamber, preparing for the day.
"There we are, nice and simple," Earendil smiled. "Looks like we'll have to get her from her room after all, though."
He held out one hand to Lin and started towards the door so that they could go look for her.

"Very," Lin nodded as she took his hand, but led the way to the rooms where everyone was staying.
Though she hoped that Lancaeriel wasn't cutting herself off from people by taking breakfast in her room. She knew that some people like privacy and to be honest she didn't know Lancaeriel that well.

It didn't take them long to reach the bedchamber that was temporarily Lancaeriel's, and when they arrived, Earendil knocked solidly on the door. He hoped that they weren't interrupting anything, but as far as he knew, she was aware that they hoped she could accompany them to the city for the morning.
It took only a few short moments before her door was opened, and she stood in the doorway, smiling warmly at the two.
"Good morning," she greeted them warmly. "Is it time for us to leave?"

"Yes," Lin nodded, "But we'll be waiting at the front entrance for Andarien. He's coming but needs to feed Eon and PonyDash first, so we're not leaving quite right away."
She wasn't sure how long it would take, but she didn't want to rush them. So Lin figured they would be waiting on Andarien and his pets.

Lancaeriel nodded. "Just give me a moment to get my cloak, and then I'll be ready as well," she requested.
She left Lin and Earendil at the door and headed into her room to fetch her cloak. Once she had it on, she also grabbed her bag and put it over her shoulder before joining Lin and Earendil once more at the door.
"All right," she smiled softly. "I'm ready to go."

"Great," Lin gave a wide smile as she led the way back to the entrance hall.
She was looking forward to going into the city, even though it was for the specific purpose of showing Lancaeriel around everywhere.

"Have you any plans for where we're going to go?" Lancaeriel asked as they headed back down the stairs. "I'm told the tanner here is especially talented, though there are things here that are different than in the Four Lands."
Earendil chuckled. "So you've been talking to people."
Lancaeriel smiled warmly. "Shiro is like me. Eager to learn, and eager to share his knowledge. Who am I to ask him to stop?"

Lin giggled, "Of course, he's always full of interesting information."
She wondered what else they had talked about.
"What else did he suggest?"

"Pretty much everywhere," Lancaeriel answered with an amused smile. "I believe one of the few notable places he failed to mention was the sweet shop, though he readily admitted to me that he prefers fruit to candy, which would explain why. Kaito heartily recommended it, though."
When they arrived at the front door, Andarien was already waiting for them, and Eon and Ponydash were prancing around in the snow outside. It had snowed overnight, and there was a fresh few inches, though the day itself was not overly cold.

"Of course, Kaito does have quite the sweet tooth," Lin murmured
She was a bit surprised to see that Andarien and his pokemon had beaten them to the front, but when she really thought about it, they did have to wait for Lancaeriel and Andarien left before they did.
"Ready?" she asked Andarien once they came up to them.
