"thanks. here some tea." he offered a warm cup with a bit of honey in it to him. he smiled warmly and didnt want to make him uncomfy so he sat down at the couch and patted the seat beside him. "come and sit..please" he smiled reassuringly.

After a moment, he sighed, rubbing at the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Pretty though I may be, ma'am... I will tell you in the most candid way that I truly have nowhere else to go and am greatly in need of a job. That... and somewhere to belong. I am far too old to return to my family, and even if I did so, I'm not sure I would be entirely welcome. This said... I ask you once more to reconsider."

This lengthy speech, while formal to an almost ridiculous extent, held a near desperate honesty, and as he spoke, the man's large blue eyes began to glisten with tears, which he hatily wiped away.

"I'm sorry... I shouldn't be begging for a job. That was bad form... I apologise..."

He added, seeming near frightened that he might have offended her, or that she might think he was misleading her in some way.
"No.. please sit," she whispered and rose from her chair. "One of our boys had just recently been taken away from us by force. I don't want to put anyone else in that possition. You must understand this is a very hard time for us. I will offer you a job if that is what you like, but only in the cafe. I am not yet ready to recruit another for the other business."

He quickly grabbed a glass before rushing out the kitchen. After seeing Radevel angry, the last thing Alex wanted was to be in a room that was near the cruel man. He filled the glass with water from the bathroom sink before making his way back to the new boy's room.

Synei grinned and pulled the boy close again, his mouth pressing against the boy's as he kissed the boy as soon as he was in reach. Running his hand down the boy's back, he rolled onto his back, so that the boy was on top of him. His hands moved down to their favorite spot: the boy's cute little a**. Breaking the kiss for a moment, he looked up at the boy, a small grin on his face before he pressed a few soft kisses to the boy's forehead and cheek. "Almost awake, kid?" he asked softly, his eyes still slightly lidded from sleep. His red hair was a mess, the long strands everywhere on his pillows and his shoulder. The older man began to yawn softly as he gazed up into the boy's dark eyes as he kissed him again.

Dai giggled, his cheeks stained a dark red. "Almost," He murmured, burrying his face in the man's chest once the kiss was broken. It felt so good to be in his arms. And the hands on his butt weren't too bad either.
He sighed in content and nuzzled him gently, wrapping his arms around him just a bit tighter. Green eyes curious, he picked his head up to gaze into his face, his eyes seeking out Synei's. "Oi...Shi-kun. How much do you like me?"

The man nodded soberly, sending a couple of strands of golden hair into his eyes, which he promptly brushed away out of habit. His expression was one of gentle concern, and he seemed, only now, to be beginning to understand the true nature of 'the other business' of this place. Nomatter. His mind was made up. Having a family and a job meant more to him that just about anything else in the world right now, and if working at a cafe was what needed to be done, so it would be.

"Of course, milady."

He said formally, suddenly a shadow of his former, rich self. He nodded once more, actually lifting a hand to keep the hair from his face, and sat down once more, eyeing the woman evenly, a determined glow in his large blue eyes.

"If that is the case.... what woul you have me do? I assure you I'm good for most kinds of work. I may look slender, but I do have some muscle."

This last bit was said jokingly, and he smiled slightly. Somewhere, inside of him, a little voice was begging him to make her feel better. He really did hate seeing people sad.... and she was such a nice lady.

'She's been so nice...'

Johann thought to himself.

'It's the least I can do to try and make her feel better.'

"Well, ma'am? What'll it be?"

"Can you mix coffee drinks? We only have one mixer in the cafe and the business there gets busier everyday," Lady B commented as she walked over to turn on the light. The room had been dark since the incident and she didnt' want to have the youth stumble and hurt himself. The lights flashed on and she closed her eyes for a moment, the light striking her unprepared eyes. Blinking a few times, adjusting to the light, she gasped slightly. For the first time, she was able to register just how beautiful the blond youth was.

Synei blinked a few times at the question before looking down at the boy, "Why do you ask?" he responded, looking into the boy's eyes. "I mean, we haven't known each other for too long. It's not like I love you.." he muttered while he turned his head away, "But.. I like you well enough. You shouldn't worry about it." he added, ruffling the messed up boy's hair lightly.

He nodded, smiling weakly. "That's good then."
His tone was soft and light, with slight traces of sleep still evident. He yawned and nuzzled his chest gently, gazing off at the wall. "I don't want to go in today," He said, sighing as he sat up.

Synei nodded and patted his butt lightly before standing up, "You might want to start getting ready.. It's pretty late." he said, looking at the clock. Stretching as he lowered Dai back onto the bed, "What do you want for breakfast?" he asked before leaning down to taste the boy's neck.

Dai gasped at the wet feeling on his skin before relaxing against him. "Eggs, if you have any," He replied, sighing softly as his green eyes took in Synei's form. He looked so beautiful...even with his hair in dissary and his clothes slightly rumpled from sleeping. He reached up to pet his long crimson hair out of pure admiration, not really thinking about how unusual he must have seemed to the man.

"Um... Okay," with that first impression of his violent nature he was scared to go anywere with him, but he must do what his new master told him to do.

A quick glare followed Alex in and out of the kitchen, noting his haste. It was a mixture of amusement and annoyance that Radevel found in his boys' fear. Amusement because he knew he was the one pulling this fear into them, forcing each and every one into submission. Annoyance because he found it terribly pathetic that they run like abused pups. He placed a large, undeniably strong hand on Ashley's shoulder before turning him toward the door and leading him out. "This way," he said, stepping out just behind him. "My office is just upstairs."

Mizi smiled with Slaine's agreement. Maybe the faster they were able to get to the restaurant, the sooner this awkwardness between them would disappear. After watching Slaine successfully flag down a cab, Mizi followed the younger one into the car and slipped into the backseat beside him. As the cab pulled away from the curb and headed down the street, it hit a red light at the first stoplight. Just perfect, more silence. The pretty brunette gazed out the window, searching his mind for conversation topics. When Slaine called his name, questioning violet hues immediately found the seated figure beside him. Mizi.. was hardly prepared for the inquiry Slaine had decided to make.

His calm countenance at the beginning of the question was soon replaced with one of shock. Talk about hitting the nail... almost right on the head. So Slaine noticed the distance between them as well? "No!" he exclaimed. In actuality, 'no' was only partially correct. But it wasn't so much that Mizi regretted what had taken place between the two of them as the fact that he felt like a fool for thinking the other was interested in him beyond that. Noticing the rude glance the cab driver had given the pair of them in the mirror, Mizi lowered his voice. "No," he replied softly, "I don't regret that or anything. It felt good." A clear blush stained his pale complexion as he shook his head evasively. "There's nothing wrong, Slaine," he added, "Not unless you regret something we've done?" Mizi not only didn't regret it; he loved their intimate encounter from two nights before. Slaine... held him so differently than his clients. He made him feel things the brunette hadn't felt in a long time. The night didn't leave Mizi feeling dirty or used. It just felt -- it didn't matter what it made him feel. Slaine wasn't going to do it again unless he miraculously became either an attractive blonde or Shinto himself: both impossibilities.

The first 'no' from the other came so quickly, so abruptly, Slaine thought. Was it because the idea was absurd or he was merely trying to create a quick cover up. One that would let him down easily, letting him think the night went well. Two totally opposite possibilities could either lead you down the right path, or one of utter miscomprehension, depending on which you chose. The youth had never spoken of his sex life out of closed doors before, so his comments left him feeling slightly flustered as well. Well, at least he wasn't the only one. Did he regret anything? he asked. His inner conscience said no, his heart said no.. But there was the remaining outer layer of himself that wouldn't stop thinking of the little details. If he had ruined the friendship between Mizi and himself, then yes, he didn regret it. 'If only it could just be more than that,' he thought. "I.." he began, watching the fleeting building through the window out of the corner of his eye. "I don't." His better sense of mind continued to cheer him on, wanting him to follow the feelings in his heart. "I just felt things were a little.. uneasy with us today. Like, I don't know.. You didn't really want us to be friends anymore. But I can't go without taking some of the blame too, I guess." Tearing his wandering eyes away from the window, he forced himself to look at Mizi. "Is that what you want, though?"

Again he smiled britely as he drank his and they sat in a comfortable silence. Words didnt hav to be said and he prefered it that way rite now. His company was enough to make him content.
