He stood there, ready to fight anyone who dared approach him. His mask hiding the truth from prying eyes, because like most information...his knowledge was dangerous.

Her bold clothing gave the impression that gwinivere wanted to stand out in a crowd. Her butterfly wings made people move out of her way and her odd look could make children smile.

I wandered back in after another lengthy absence just for a quick hello when I spied her, the red looking so nice with the black. I loved the cute little Kitsune ears, and her frilly dress looked nice. I smiled at her but just wondered what she had behind the mask; or what she was really hiding about herself.

It had been a while, but he never changed much. The simplicity of his outfit, or lack of, was the same and his hair stood out of the crowd. The ball and chain gave him an under lying meaning. I saw him smile at me. He had that look that most people gave me, a piecing gaze. Trying to work out what was behind the mask, so I kindly smiled back and waved.

Her dress and demeanor were split in two. On the one side, her class showed through her lady-like old 50's dress. On the other, her hair was unkempt, her ears fox-like, and her mask, way too like mine. Her life seemed a lie, a mystery, like a huge hypocritical conspiracy. No good fruit can be born of such a tree...

You could see he was sweet...if you looked deep enough. He looked as if he were running way from something...Was he?

Her life was a disguise.

She was a hypocrite, being pursued by all the darkness of the world. She had her disguise effectively mastered. She was now Gwinivere, no matter what the world thought.

He wouldn't give up that tough-guy act. Though he looked scared...Almost as if he thought something would jump out at him the next time he moved.

She looks like an attender of a masquerade party. Her dress and demeanor was calm, her feet, bare and cold, I imagine. The mask perfectly complimented her outfit, but its mine not yours jerk!

Lean, mean, fighting machine...?
Maybe not. He looked all tough and brave but as most people could tell he looked like a scared child trying desperately to cling to what little fairyland he has left.

Despite the approaching coolness of fall and end of summer she had actually ditched her warmer clothing and changed into a skimpy bathing suit. Perhaps it was a desperate attempt to hold onto what was left of the carefree days of summer or perhaps she just lived on the other side of the planet.

He was beginning to reveal more about himself. He had removed his shirt to reveal his bare chest and all that it symbolizes. Yet he still hides behind that mask and keeps his back to everyone to hide his new openness.

He seemed a wave of curiosity. He needed to know everything. He seemed to be a little nosy along with that, like he thought everything is in black-and-white. The world is much more than first meets the eye. There are absolutes, yes, but there are some things that are hard to explain.

By the way, punkwad, my Avy is praying.

He burst out at me in frustration. Perhaps I had misjudged the situation, but he seemed awfully irritable for someone taking time to meditate and pray. Perhaps this wasn't the time to try to strike up conversation. It just seemed like an odd place to undertake such a personal and private act.
