He watched as Laure chose what food she wanted and then the person behind the counter gave them some numbers. He generally knew that people on the surface had money to trade for food. He had seen it before with people with carts of food. But instead of the weird paper, Laure brought out a flat looking plastic rectangle and swiped it in a little machine. Then another machine by the strange smelling person spewed out some paper which was given to Laure. Je would have to ask how to get one of those cards that got you food. Then there were cups put on the counter. Taking his cup when the counter person wasn't looking so they wouldn't see his claws or fur on his hand, he noticed it was empty. Wait the picture looked like it had a drink of some kind in it. But the cup was empty. He watched Laure approached a machine and it gave the drink for her plus so tiny clear things, though it was quite loud about it. He looked at the selections and understood none of them. Could he get a little and try it? He opted for the one called sprite as it was the first one. He did like Laure did, other than the clear chunks, and had about a sip in the bottom. He sniffed it and got a slightly sweet smell from it. It was bubbling too, why was it bubbling. He tried sipping it even with it tickling his nose. It tasted weird but good. He filled the cup up and went to where Laure was she had a cover and what he knew was a straw and put one on his like she had on hers so did they wait for food now?

 Laure Angela LongstaffLaure was a little jumpy still as she gets her drink, Coke with lots of ice. She didn't know if Eli would know how to get the drink but he seemed rather smart and was able to do it without her explaining anything. She started to wonder where he lived and if there were others like him around. By the time they both had their drinks, and she grabbed some ketchup, their number was called. She quickly went up to the counter and grabbed their tray of food. "Let's find a seat," she says as she looks for an open seat. There was plenty of open spots around.

Once the drinks were ready so was the food. He had heard them call out numbers and people would go get the food shortly after. Did the have a number? The must have cause Laure reacted to one of the called out numbers and got a tray of food. She looked for a place to sit and Eli spotted one that was good and secluded. “That one is good" he said pointing to it briefly. He was trying to remain inconspicuous. The sleeves of the hoodie only covered so well. The went to sit and dished out whose food was whose. There was two boxes that smelled of chicken. He popped it open and they were all stacked inside. Grabbing one he sniffed it before taking a bite. It was hot but not scalding and was even better than when he got them out of the metal bins in the back, it had crunch too! Before he would enjoy the rest of the box he went for the long potatos. He sniffed it as well but this time he got salt in his nose causing him to sneeze to the side and in his sleeve. That was unpleasant. He was able to smell ot before he got salted, and it smelled good too. Biting it he found ot to be crispy too. They must lose crunchiness when they got cold. The potatoes tasted a lot better warm albeit salty. He wanted to ask a lot of questions while they ate but he would ask the more nagging ones. “Thank you for the food,but I got to ask. Most people either run away or attack me, but you didn't. How come?” Eli asked before savoring another nugget.

Thoughts: I'm amazing  Seven walked in and went to order some fry the idea that these were called fry and not chips still baffled him, Americans were weird like that he guessed. He go a larg fries and a coffee and sat down in a booth in the corner from everyone Kicking his feet up on the table as he hoped the first fry in his mouth. He pulled out his iPhone and opened the phone, putting his earbuds in to his ears to drown everyone else. Seven hacked into the wifi and started using his iPhone to hack into the FBI. "Hmmmm, mmmmm..." he was humming along to the song that started playing in his ear buds "Sun is shineing...." He kept typeing away deleting all the information the government of this country they had gathered about 707.... again... He was trolling the FBI again happily doing so leaving in it's place on all there screens a friendly new screen server on all there computers on repeat . Seven started chuckling to his self not even truly hiding the fact he was doing it in the mcdonalds but than again it was just a screen of blue numbers on black. He hoped another french fry into his mouth and smiled brightly listening to his music. Moving on to wireing some money into a fake acount he could withdraw from later.

A sigh escaped Donovan's lips as he noticed the slowed figure entering the room and sluggishly calling a greeting. "It's Tyson. Seems our time out is over." he said with a chuckle still holding Leo close. A blink of his eyes and time returned to normal. The slowed sounds and movements immediately returning to normal pace. Letting Leo the room to slip away if he liked Donovan turned a grin to his best friend. "Hey Bro. Was wondering when you'd pop up. Miranda's wasted again." he said nodding towards the girl still sprawled across the couch a few feet away. Maybe I can get him distracted enough to sneak off with Leo... he thought, knowing full well that they would have to talk about what happened. "Ty, This is Leo, Leo this is my best friend Tyson." he said giving the mandatory introductions, his tone full well implying his lack of enjoyment at the interruption.
"We were just enjoying a slower moment from the party." he said his eyes flashing the meaning to the tan boy.
"Sometimes things just go to fast." his smirk now placed on his face. There was little doubt that Donovan wasn't pleased with the interruption but he wouldn't express the view aloud, least of all to Tyson. The one person who knew him better than anyone. Now Donovan supposed it was time to see how things would go with introducing a date off the subway.

Tyson had been up on the third floor for the majority of the party time, collecting a cover charge from those souls who ventured to this level. On this floor there were less legal activities offered, each room color coded based on what one would find available inside it. A crisp 50 passed to him at the top of the steps and you had the free reign to choose your poison. Of course Tyson wasn't dumb enough to leave them alone. He had four other guys helping him maintain the third floor. Once you choose a room thats the only one you could visit for the night. Nodding at a guy with bright blue hair and a half dozen piercings to take his place, Tyson slipped back down towards the rest of the party. Eventually arriving at the doorway to the arcade where he caught sight of his teammate and friend Donovan with his arms wrapped around a pale boy. With a smirk he approached the pair, watching as they broke apart. Glancing at the pale boy before turning his head in the direction of Miranda when Donovan pointed her out. "Let her sleep it off right now, we'll just keep an eye on her like usual." He turned his gaze to Donovan and Leo, looking at the pair. His eyebrows raising at the double meaning of the taller boys words. Did he tell this guy? Must be a serious thing... he thought as his gaze lingered for a second on the shorter boy. "Leo was it? Well enjoy the party dude. Count yourself lucky, everyone who's anyone comes to it." shooting his gaze back towards Donovan he said "You didn't tell us you had a new boyfriend. If you'd like some privacy, you know how to open the master bedroom." he said with a wave of his hand.

Leo wasn't too surprised Donovan was popular, He had confidence for the both of them. it was rather weird seeing and hearing things suddenly return to normal, not unlike when one would remove earplugs after having had them in for a while, while in a crowded area. Leo was introduced to Tyson and waved when his name was given to the tanner taller boy. Tyson seemed like a nice guy and also was the host of the party. Good Miranda would be looked over and cared for. It's not like he didn't want to heal her it just he wanted to avoid detection, though he had failed with Donovan but, that had ended well. he did detect a second meaning to what Donovan was saying and Tyson reacts confirmed this, Donovan must have mentioned his time powers to Tyson. That made sense if they were best friends. the mention of Tyson not knowing Donovan had a boyfriend made him blush a little, wow was he that obviously in the fact he did, in fact, have a crush. The bedroom mention though made him go a nice shade of pink that under normal circumstances would have only looked a bit pinker than a normal tone. Leo wasn't even sure how to mentally respond to it, a part of him popped in the back of his mind saying hey use that bed room wink wink, the other eighty percent, however, was running around screaming not knowing what to do. Donovan would have to respond cause either that screaming would be external of he would stumble so much on what to say he would be speaking gibberish.

Laure Angela LongstaffLaura was glad to have a somewhat peaceful lunch. She was taking a bite of her cheeseburger when Eli askes her why she didn't run or attack him. "There a simple and a hard answer to that. For one, you seemed more scared of me when I stormed at you. Anyways you got my purse back. That and I was attacked the other night. Wich wasnt fun..." she starts thinking of the night befor and push her food away. "I'll never do that to anyone. Who cares if people are different anyway."

He stood just over 6' tall and was slim yet muscular, much like the toned form of a swimmer, yet he was skilled in street fighting and martial arts, which gave his body type a rather deceptive strength. He currently wore little more than a tank top and dark purplish black board shorts that tucked into knee pads and boots as well as striking gloves of the same dark purplish black. In pale gray, an inch wide marking was emblazoned on the dark color of both gloves, while in a deeper gray was a odd odder marking. "Let's have some fun," he murmured in a low, smooth voice that held a hint of an Irish accent as he smirked, his canines slightly longer than normal. His calves and feet were bound in tape, while he wore calf guards as well, though he preferred to be barefoot for the most part. 'Thoughts'

"I wish everyone else was the same way, I been attacked before too. That's why I only come out for food" Eli said munching on the chicken. he heard some weird muffled sounds and carefully looked to see what it was. it seemed to be coming from a person that was in a relaxed sitting spot with cords from his ears plugged into what Eli assumed was a phone? He had seen pictures and broken ones but not one that was real or worked. Not dwelling on it he turned back to Laure. She seemed to have stopped eating. “Are you not hungry?” He asked. He hoped it was that and not sick. Back home those were pretty much the reasons for not eating. He would feel bad if he caused her to not want to eat. He finished one of the chicken boxes he grabbed the other and proceeded to munch on those.

A smirk crossed Donovan's face at Tyson's complaint of not knowing about his date. "Well, I'll be honest its really new in fact." he said with a look at Leo, "So Leo would you want to be my boyfriend?" he said with his eyes glinting with an attractive mischievous look. It was just then Tyson's next words hit him, "If you'd like some privacy, you know how to open the master bedroom." The master bedrrom? he thought as a half dozen less than appropriate scenarios burst through his mind. All of them involving Leo. Giving himself a quick shake he pulled himself back to reality. "You know what Ty, I think we will take that offer." He said reaching for Leo's hand. "Come on Leo, I promise I won't do anything you won't like." he said as he led the way from the arcade and up the stairwell turning down a hall towards a locked pair of double doors, Donovan pulled the key from under a slot in a nearby vase before turning back to the paler boy. "I think we have some stuff to talk about don't we?" he said with a curious smile. Opening the door he waved the shorter boy in and then locked the door behind themselves. "Tyson's probably gonna leave us alone thinking we're having sex or something so we got a good hour or so. Not that I'm totally against the idea, but I don't think we should rush into that quite yet." he strolled over to the large bed and fell back onto it, allowing himself to sink into the soft padding. "So you have the power to heal?" the brunette asked with his gaze at the ceiling.

Leo had mostly got his bearings back when they where again rattled by Donovan asked if he wanted to be his boyfriend. Sure he had just met him but his gut said why not. Besides dating is how you get to know someone right? "Oh! Um...Y-Yea.. Leo said supprised he could get that out. He let himself be dragged to the room by Donovan mainly cause he already knew he was blushing from the boyfriend request and the implied bedroom activities that he wanted to hide. He did agree with Donovan as he unlocked the door. With Tyson thinking they're having sexy times, something Leo wasn't opposed to having but agreed they weren't quite ready for that, they would have time to chat. He waited till Donovan had flopped on the bed before sitting near the head of it. "Yea at least for a few years at least. It seems to work on me too." He said sitting with his legs pulled up to himself. He has kicked off his shoes so he wouldn't have them on the bed.

The soft bedding was curving around Donovan as he felt the shift of Leo sitting nearby. "I've never actually met another mutant, well as far as I'm aware." His gaze moved from the ceiling to the pale boy. "I guess you've figured I can manipulate the passage of time huh? Its kinda weird but cool honestly. What I did in our kiss was just one trick I can do." He said his flirty smirk fading into a mischievous grin and his eyes flashing with excitement. "In fact I could probably do something so quickly you'd never see it happening." He pressed his eyes shut and slowed time at such a rate that he was turned into a blur as he sat up and pulled his shirt over his head and tossed it on the bed beside Leo. He sat back in the same spot he was before returning time to normal. Only now his shirt was laying against the shorter boys leg. What's he gonna say to that? he wondered with his mischievous look in place. "I think you're powers are pretty awesome though, healing is a useful, never know when you'll need to help someone. My powers aren't as useful unless you want to hurry up to lunch break." A chuckle escaped his lips as his gaze drifted back to Leo, his cute new boyfriend.

Leo listened into Donovan "I work at a shelter that helps down on their luck mutants. So i see quite a few but usully the same people." Leo said temporarily excluding the part of he use to be one of those down on their luck, with his parents disowning him and all. He was a bit lost in thought when he heard donovan mention he knew another trick with his powers. Seeing a blur and suddenly a shirt on his lap it took him a moment to realize where the shirt came from. Donovan was in relatively the same spot but missing the shirt that was in Leo's lap. Should he asked if he wanted the shirt back or what? He was way too new to this dating thing. "Oh!....T-that was quick...." Leo managed to stumble out. He did catch himself staring at Donovan but when he looked over Leo awkwardly looked away. He was blushing dispite his best efforts. This time he composed himself quicker. "Well....yours are cool too. You dont have to worry about being late..." Leo said still a bit nervous.

Dating: No one Great minds could think alike it seemed, files she was downloading were being deleted. "Another hacker.... how cute..." With a grin she moved her one hand faster, the files downloading faster to her personal servers. Sipping her coffee she scanned the McDonald's cafe. Seeing two others a person who looked like they were furiously typing. Seeing who she thought was the other hacker she raised her hands, little hexagons appearing on her fingers. Moving her fingers rapidly a little purple skull appeared on the screen with the saying ' Boop!' underneath. With a smile she went back to her phone to download more files.
