Hearing the praise given to him from his Master, well there wasn't a surprise that a swell of pride blossomed in Dorian's chest. Such things as praise and compliments on his skill and actions were not common place, so hearing it now after such a dilemma and painstakingly long planning was welcome and appreciated. He always enjoyed being recognized for his efforts, like any apprentice would. As they continued on their path away from the scattering remains of the mark, the wood giving them shelter till Dorian opened a portal which he was doing as Zoltan spoke of the Lord of Betrayal. The portal now before them, in its black ominious waves and flowing of darkness, Dorian glanced at the man leaning on his shoulder. "And being Lord of Betrayal, we should be weary; I suspect Lucifial wasn't wholly honest...but that all can wait till we are back at Nigh Glacial and you get your strength back."That said, Dorian stepped into the portal he had summoned and when the came out they were in their appointed palace of ice and night. Looking around, the apprentice gave an eerie smirk. "Welcome back My Master."((feel free to post in Night Glacial)) ◑__________________●__________________◐

When she fell backwards into her portal, her eyes were swamped with blue light, like water as it wrapped around her and pulled her down through the ground where everything fell as the air around her began to emerge and whip past her. As the light faded the sky shun brightly to her as fluffy clouds of white wool hung above her. The tails of the blue cloak around her flapped violently around her legs until she remembered what she was doing. Hoping they wouldn't follow her through the portal before it closes, she turned around and flung her scythe to her side as it cut through the air. The enchanted Woods was below and ever getting closer faster and faster. Aiming the scythe down she placed her boots on the blade's edge and used the scythe like an aiming tool to come down on her enemies like a missile. The air rushing past her ears made it almost impossible to think, but this was her style, quick and flashy to get the job done. Like it has been for almost twenty years now. (give or take, i can't remember xD)
The followers dressed in black were nearby, loking up to the sky as they began to hear the metallic 'shing' of her scythe through the sky, their ears filled with the magical sound of arcane magic weaving around her like a human arcane missile.
Suddenly the ground was so close it was like a green blur and the followers tried to dive out of the way from the surprise attack. Up above, Laxion had dived through the portal before Ruby, aimlessly, with no idea where he was going to end up. He was shocked to say the least when air began rushing past him, he began to spin violently, rolling about in the sky until he ralised where he was and narrowed his brows after shouting out words of confusion. Flinging his arms out to the sides he alligned himself like a holy cross and suddenly the air around him was controlled as he fell through the sky in a less violent manner. Looking for Ruby he found her close by, and was quick to lend her some of his air magic. Ofcourse, people gifted like they were in Occulas could fall fro this height without being hurt, but letting Ruby be able to control the air around her a little easier was always helpful! Her hands and feet would act like skates, soaring through the air like they were gliding on ice.
The giant metallic scythe whipped back and as her boots hit the ground, the steel tip embedded itself into the ground, and like a thrum of intense vibrations everything rippled beneath the force she let loose in the form of arcane energy. It was like a sonic wave as the followers went flying outwards. Alexis Truesvale then looked up as her hood fell down to reveal her golden locks and deep blue eyes, pulling her scythe out of the ground with a tug she spun it around her arms before whipping the point behind her, the curved 90 degree angled blade suddenly becoming straight, and the weapon taking on the appearance of a staff or spear.
Laxion then hit the ground behind her in a flurry of an orb-like tornado. He was going to say something, but Alexis looked about ready to begin her moment of heroism.

Ruby
Ruby was excepting to touch the ground once through the portal, but instead was descending through the air. It's not like her jewel gave her the power to sprout wings so she was pretty much screwed. However, she had more faith in her element friend to save her and lend her air magic to control her flight pattern. At the moment, she was twirling and trying to put her arms out in front of her hoping it would block the wind resistance or something. Laxion helped her out so now she could fall with easy without thinking she'll end up like a flat pancake. She even copied Laxion's formation seeing as that was the right way to fall especially with no flight gear like a parachute. The child smiled at her partner and then turned her attention to the other that was fighting more aggressively than usual. In fact, the ripples originating from her scythe into the earth traveled for over a mile effecting all of the adversaries in black. The stumbled and Alexis didn't give them a moments rest as she swung her weapon around in an a**-kicking fashion.
Her hood loosened on her head and fell to drape over her shoulders showing her appearance. From the distance they were, she looked like the same Alexis, but when they closed in she looked to be about thirty. All matter her age, she was still there friend and probably missed their loving company terribly. However, the life she had right now was nothing to sneeze at and almost seemed perfect. The man at the cafe looked like her long lost father that she had mentioned, and she went out to parade around as a super hero everyday. Ruby wondered if she even wanted them to find her or leave things be because that's how things should have been before. The girl grimaced before arriving on the surface next to her comrade watching Alexis from afar. They contained their excitement to see her because they didn't want to get in the way of her business.
Unfortunately, she had to interfere because a black robed enemy was ready to attack the arcane user from behind. Ruby pulled her guns out of their holsters and took a shot without hesitation. The blonde crusader should be able to handler the rest on her own due to her new abilities. The two would be there to back her up if necessary and then finally have the chance to talk to her after all this time.

Breathing calmly, Alexis held her scythe firmly beside her, the weapon's tip pointed like a spear and ready to pounce. She tightened her fist, and suddenly widened her eyes, startled by the sound of bullets behind her she swung her staff around and narrowed her eyes upon a now fallen cultist. As her vision, beneath the emerald green grass and gleaming sun's rays, focused, she saw Laxion and Ruby in the distance having just taken out the man for her. She almost smiled... but the adrenaline reminded her what was happening.
Tossing back around she spun the staff around like a baton as swiped one across the chest as his robes tore and was flung across the grass. She then lifted her staff and hit the floor with it, sucking in the cultists as they were swept from their feet and were dragged towards her. Alexis lifted it high and spun it around so that staff's tip were facing down, and the blade fragmented into different shards as they spun around the magical tip aggressively with electrical energy. Thrusting it into the ground an arcane explosion sent hte cultists flying once again. Flinging the staff to her side then, the blade suddenly 'clinked' back into a scythe position as she narrowed her eyes upon them. There were many, and they were becoming harder and harder to kill recently, probably because they started learning some of her tricks. But not this next one. With a smirk, she watched as they stood up and began charging flaming balls of fire in their hands, or shadowy weapons forging before them.
And then, the battle commenced. She felt the heat of a ball of fire hurling towards her, she jumped and rolled through the air like a pencil falling from a table, landing she crouched and spun the scythe beneath her to trip a cultist beside her to the floor before standing and bringing it down to his chest. Pulling it from his body, it slowly began to fade into blue petals. Finding the fire-wielding cultists, she sent one arcane orb over from her hand and let it explode on contact to daze them. Summoning an invisible wall she stopped other balls of fire from colliding with her as she dealt with cultists on her back. Swinging her scythe round, the blade slied right through one's head as the blood burst from his throat and dissolved into blue petals, floating through the air. The other, she sent flying with a sudden force of arcane magic, following it she embedded her scythe to the grass, and three tall magical blades emerged from the ground, followed the man and defeated him in a sapphire explosion.
Then she jumped, and jumped high as arcane runes surrounded her and cannonballed her up into the sky, swinging her scythe, runes suspended her above the ground several storeys. Holding her scythe up as it shifted to it's staff mode, a beam of blue light shot for the skies as the grew clouds covered the sun and spiralled in above her. Landing on the ground, she let the neon blue lightning strike down the last few that survived, and then she let her scythe have it's finale. One more survived, and he was heavily armoured in steal plate that was surprisingly sleak, and under the dull sky he appeared all the more sinister as his comrades were struck down one by one. "This is for you two" she quietly spoke to herself, "this is the start of our lives together". Swinging her scythe upwards, the ground began to shine slightly blue, and a wispy essence latched out to grab the air above it. Then the energy all rushed towards the man, and he was flung upwards like gravity reversed, his limbs were held tight apart from eachother, and Alexis flickered from existence. Laxion gazed up, and surrounded the man were many different figures all just like Alexis, one by one each would dive through him, standing in the exact same position as the next figure as the chain reaction would continue until the real, true Alexis appeared above, and finally came crashing down the ground in a flurry of blue petals. The sky then began to clear up, and the few dark etchings that had the time to be laid were hissing under the golden rays. She then looked up and... it was finally time to speak.

Ruby
Alexis' mouth twitched as if she wanted to grin out of gratitude, but kept her determination. These cultist pretended to play weak, especially sense one died by a mere bullet, but in fact they were concealing their true potential. That was to be expected with an enemy the gang came across though because for some reason they are underestimated a lot. Ruby cringed to think that it was her childish actions and appearance that weighted down the teams value. Their origins, style, combat experience, and diversity make them look like the most unlikely group. Nonsense in her opinion and besides the way the blonde is fairing does she even need support to back her up? The albino dreaded what the woman was going to say to them once she cleans up the mess. The blue hooded arrow became one with her staff and with one swift movement a man was propelled backwards. She didn't let up though because she dragged him back performing an invisible vortex that released an electrical sonic boom to toss him aside once more. Maybe she thought one hit wasn't tortuous enough so repeating the process would enviable fix that.
The wave from the boom stopped right in front of Laxion and Ruby's toes, but out of impulse she still backed away. The cultists survived, and charged their attacks of fire balls and shadowmancy arsenal to obliterate their opponent. The fire balls whistled right over Alexis' rolling body resulting in her sweating out of anxiety and wanting to protect her friend. Her comrade would restrain her before she could take two steps into the chaos, and this was an accomplish the mage had to earn on her own. Alexis' scythe pierced one of the many men's abdomens and turned into an ensemble of blue luminous petals that danced in the breeze. An arcane ball was sent towards the pryo and stunned him in time for her to cast a blockade, and then brutally slice a man in the throat. The old Alexis wouldn't be so animalist towards another human even if he/she was an enemy, but the intention to spare life must have died in her. However, her life was at stake and these cultist would kill her if they got the chance. The blood from the fall had materialized into blue petals to which was like a symbol for her now or so to speak.
The blonde prepared for her final blow because the blades that were summoned from the earth were placed in a magical matrix. In a way, it's kind of like an chemical circle that guided alchemist to combine all sorts of chemicals together. The blades imprisoned a straggler and fried him in a super nova explosion leaving no trace of his existence. Cavorting into the skies, supernatural clouds condensed around the sun and blue thunder shocked the remaining cultist letting one live. He would get the ultimate punishment and suffer an experience far worse than his mates. His armor, no matter how innovated, wouldn't help him or give him the benefit of the doubt.
Blue light crept through the crust and catch the "knight" in an upwards beam to incarcerate him. The skilled sorceress vanished and then multiplied, attacking one by one until the real her crashed down from above. The finale was undecided until the petals cleared and Alexis was left standing. Sunlight broke through the coverage and Ruby felt like the time to reunite was now. She ran over to her first, flung her arms out, and pounced at her wrapping them around her waist. "Do you know how long we've been searching for you! We missed you!" Tear waterfalled down her cheeks as she cried into Alexis' stomach.

Suddenly, when she emerged from the dispersing blue petals Alexis saw Ruby running after her with open arms. The squeeze was tight enough to push any air left in her lungs out of her mouth. Laxion shortly followed the the small gust of wind behind him to let him catch up as he leaped over the field, Alexis' hair wildly blew back as her sapphire eyes focused on the two of them. Ruby was so upset, and that feeling of sorrow, overwhelmed her once she let go. They must have been searching for so long, searching for a blue needle in a haystack. Even Laxion wasn't sure how to express himself as he awaited for reply.
All Alexis could say was "I'm so sorry, i tried my best to stay away from you", as she took a step back. Laxion's brows inverted suddenly, his hand reached out as his heart felt like a bridge just made had been destroyed. "What do you mean?" he asked, voice unsure of what tone to use. Alexis swung her scythe around as it hummed and became a small sceptre with a blue glowing tip. Her eyes hung heavy as she explained "I've known exactly where you have been for years, but i never wanted us to cross paths because-" she looked away... and Laxion returned the gaze and asked "because what?"
"It's not right." she said " You two will grow old and I... I won't. I'm no longer on my own timeline, everything about me is out of it's own time... it wouldn't be fair on you two..."
Laxion looked to Ruby for a moment with a disheartened expression before he quietly said "We don't care about that... do we, Ruby?"

Ruby
Alexis didn't share the same fulfilling experience the two did seeing her for the first time. Laxion leaped over to them using the wind's currents that swayed both of the female's hair. She she looked up, her partner's blue eyes held overwhelming sadness that broke Ruby's heart. Her warm mother like touch drifted away as she apologized for keeping herself out of their reach. Laxion quivered in fear at the cost of her leaving again and this made the child furious. She even summoned her elaborate scythe to her side to repeat the spell she performed in the cade to get here. The timeline for her was broken, but they reminded and always will until their time comes. The male was more gentle about the subject, but she saw no reason to be lenient.
"Idiot! So what!? We still have all this time to spend with you but you refuse to spend it with us!? Why can't we be together despite the enviable? It doesn't matter if we age because who knows if we'll even live to see tomorrow or a week from now!? You can't just shut us out. If we do die the most important thing is that...you remember us when we're gone." Her crystal shined and she quickly covered it with her hand as she turned ready to run away.

Alexis' expression was almost unreadable until Ruby let loose her wrath of impending doom! The blonde suddenly let loose her opinion, and she was in no way as calm as Laxion had been, the once quiet and unsociable soldier. Even Ruby was more social than ever. Laxion had to stand back, almost holding out his hands and wide-eyed in case Ruby had a bad outburst of energy.
Alexis stood with wide crystal eyes looking down to her old friend and was waving her hands in protest "Okay, okay!" she replied, eager to calm her. "I was wrong!" she pleaded "I promise... i won't ever hide from you two again, alright? No matter what... We're..." she said, pulling a ring off her finger and holding it out, it was gold and intricately detailed just like that scroll they took from the Reliquary those many months ago. "Team Elixer! It doesn't work any more but i never stopped wearing it"

Ruby
Her jewel scared the two out of their wits knowing about the destruction it contains. Alexis even removed the rings that came from the Reliquary that they used as a portal and announced that Team Elixer was once again a unit. Ruby could help but turn around and start laughing almost like a bipolar nutcase. "That's real cheesy, but I like the sentiment behind it. I also liked the look on your guys faces. Seriously, you acted like I was going to blow this forest sky high or something." She smiled before diving into her pockets and pulling out three slim pieces of paper. "Laxion, I know we didn't get a chance to explore the whole area, but you know that carnival we passed along the way? Well I bought some tickets when you weren't looking and I got an extra because some deal they were having." She held them out for the two to take.
"Anyway, sense we're aging rapidly I would like to enjoy our time together." She joked of course, but all she was trying to do was lighten the mood. "Now let's go have fun!"
(I know. Ruby became sassy!)

Suddenly the enraged blonde had a burst of laughter, like the entire, tense situation was a rouse for old memories. Alexis then felt a little embarrassed and silly for taking off the ring in such a manner and wasn't quite sure how to react before awkwardly laughing. Laxion scratched the back of his head as he remembered the old times the three of them shared together, "Well, Ruby... you could if you wanted!" he said before chuckling. "I've missed you guys" admitted Alexis, smiling back to them and beginning to feel a little more childish. Then Ruby dug through her pockets and had several tickets for the carnival in Neutral City. Alexis couldn't help but give a humorous smirk to Ruby's comment, but before they could get to having fun too quickly she protested "hang on guys! We should get back to the café before the press all get here, then we can catch up with some ice cream or something".
Alexis then stepped back and swung out her sceptre, and with several acrobatic spins around her arms it extended to it's full scythe form "Keep back" she warned as she sliced through the air as the very fabric of space tore. A sudden suction pulled the air into the gap before settling again, and the chime of space ripping open and harmoniously coming back to synchronisation was music to the elemental's ears. Alexis gestured for the two to go through the watery portal first.
((I'll post next back in the café, Pyrochill is back! He'll meet us there, and let's presume we have two extra tickets haha))
