Hyokomon paused and blinked at that... and then all the running finally caught up with him, and he fell on his butt, stomach practically roaring in hunger. "Hyokomon hungwyyyyy," he whined, right back to his usual childlike personality.

Once MadLeomon was taken care of, Sealsdramon joined them... only for Cerberumon to jump away, getting some distance between them and cutting the group off with a wall of flame. The distraction taken care of, he turned to Liamon with a grin. "Time to die, Liamon."
Liamon growled as he slowly but surely stood once more, both himself and the Crest of Determination starting to glow. "I... don't... THINK SO! LIAMON, DIGIVOLVE TO... LOADERLIOMON! BORING STORM!" He rushed forward, becoming a blur as he spun like a drill. Now it was Cerberumon who was on the defensive, barely managing to keep himself alive with the metallic lion hot on his heels.

SkullMeramon was most definitely hurt by the attack, Reppamon's bladed tail managing to cut off his arm... and providing just enough of an opening for FanBeemon to Digivolve and finish the job...
"FanBeemon, digivolve to... Waspmon!"
Sparky, Guardromon, and the other nearby Digimon all stopped to gawk at Waspmon... who just so happened to be the size of a small house, as opposed to the horse-to-human size range they'd seen so far. 'That's a biiiiig wasp... wait, wasp?!?' He immediately hid behind Evelyn, more than a little scared due to his allergy to wasp stings.
Waspmon simply pointed his massive stinger-cannon at SkullMeramon... the stinger which was currently charging up a large amount of energy. "See ya, sucker. Bear Buster." With that, a massive laser blasted from Waspmon's stinger, pretty much obliterating SkullMeramon.

Hyokomon dug in once all the food was gathered, happily chowing down on the fruit as he ate with the others.

Eventually, LoaderLiomon finally managed to corner Cerberumon, and with a single strike of his Loader Morningstar, the canine was vanquished. LoaderLiomon then de-digivolved back to Liollmon and headed over to the others. "Oh yeah, who's a badass? I'm a badass," he boasted, grinning.
That managed to snap Leo out of his awe, and he gave the feline an amused look as Sealsdramon similarly de-digivolved. "I think you need to calm down before that ego of yours gets too big to puncture." He stood, wincing as he accidentally put too much pressure on his injured leg.

Waspmon flew over to them, blinking. "Uh, Sparky? You okay there?"
Sparky nodded, a little calmer thanks to Evelyn's efforts, though he was still fairly wary. "Yeah... could you just do me a favor and de-digivolve?" His voice cracked a little at the end there, betraying the fact that he was still panicking somewhat.
Waspmon blinked, then realized that this form was probably fairly intimidating. "Oh, sure thing." He de-digivolved, and FanBeemon grinned at them. "There, better?"
Sparky nodded slowly, calming down the rest of the way... though he was making no effort whatsoever to move from Evelyn's arms. "Sorry bout that... I'm allergic to wasp stings. Bees don't bother me, but wasps make me break out in hives... not exactly a pleasant experience," he murmured.

In the dream, Shadow was on the shores of a pitch-black ocean, his expression as apathetic as ever... though this time, a little bit of the constant emotional pain and torment he was in was shining through as he sat there, gazing out into the distance.
"I thought it might give you a bit of a morale boost to see that your friend was alive and well... physically, anyway. With the emotional state he's been in for the past few years, he isn't really living - just existing." If Sandra looked behind her, she would see a hunchbacked silhouette dressed in a black robe, carrying a strange silver rod... and interestingly enough, there was a Crest around his neck, though not one that belonged to any of the Digidestined. "Mind you, he can't hear you; we are only here in spirit."

SaberLeomon shook his head, frowning in concern."Nay. I'm afraid I'm more of a fighter than I am a healer, and even then I've gotten a little old for fighting. I do know, however, that you have to take the bullet out first."
Then Commandramon was there again, pulling out the thankfully intact bullet carefully before starting to tend to the wound as Liollmon watched with concern.

Since Sparky and the others had saved the village, they got the food on the house. Sparky finished his meal surprisingly quickly for his skinny frame... and then he noticed the port in the middle of Guardromon's back where one could plug something in...
Guardromon blinked as it felt something plug into its back, and turned to see that its partner had gotten out his laptop and plugged it into Guardromon's back. "Uh... what are you doing...?"
"Shush, busy checking out your software. I'm curious about what the difference is between you and a manmade robot"was the matter-of-fact and surprisingly stern reply as Sparky hacked into Guardromon's mainframe... only for the boy to pause and stare at his computer screen distastefully. "What the hell kind of shitty programming is this?!?" he raged with a surprising amount of heat for the normally shy boy, though he did make sure to keep his voice down so he didn't cause a scene. "Who the hell programmed your personality matrix and battle commands, a brain-dead chimp? Actually, scratch that, that's insulting to the chimp! Gimme five minutes and I can increase your response efficiency tenfold and get rid of the s**t that's bugging up your programmed personality. I'm going to need to shut you down for a few moments, though, don't worry, I'll start you right back up as soon as I'm done."
"Wait, what?" was all Guardromon managed to get out before the lights in its eyes abruptly went out.
FanBeemon stared blankly, looking between the shut-down robot and his partner, who quite frankly had a disturbing gleam in his eye. "Uh... Sparky? What the heck are you doing?"
"Guardromon's programming is complete and utter s**t, I'm fixing it. When I'm done, Guardromon will be a lot more effective in combat and have an actual personality. Interrupt me and your stinger gets relocated up your a**" was the surprisingly blunt reply as he typed away with near-inhuman speed; apparently Jimmy did not like it when people interrupted his work with computers.
"Yessir," FanBeemon squeaked, hiding behind Evelyn.

The silhouette shook his head. "No, though his name happens to be ChaosGallantmon, not BlackGallantmon. I'm just a fellow trying to atone for the sins of his past, imprisoned by his own darkness." The figure smirked slightly. "And concerning your first comment, I don't expect anything less than your best effort."

"It's probably going to have to heal on its own, since Digimon with healing abilities are pretty rare," Commandramon interjected. "I already got the bullet out and bandaged the wound."

Jimmy WAS about to object when he was pulled away from his computer... only for those protests to die then and there when she forced his tongue into his mouth. Once she broke the kiss, he just sat there for a moment, staring off into space, before abruptly joining Guardromon on the floor unconscious, having fainted from shock.
FanBeemon, just laughed and cheered Jimmy on.

(Hey, did you hear? Apparently they've come out with a new type for Pokémon X and Y - Fairy-type. Confirmed members of this type include Sylveon, Jigglypuff, Marill, and Gardevoir, and Fairy-type moves are super-effective against Dragon-types.)

The silhouette simply smiled. "As a matter of fact, you might be the only one he's willing to respond you. After all, you're the only one in a while who's shown any kind of emotion towards him other than fear or mistrust - granted, the anger and annoyance you showed him wasn't much better in terms of emotional negativity, but it's definitely a step up. Besides... he could use a little Hope. Enough of that, however; I do believe you're about to wake up."

"I'm fine," Leo insisted stubbornly, standing and taking a few steps forward confidently... only to abruptly fall flat on his face. "...Okay, maybe not," his muffled voice came from where his face was squished against the dirt, "but I don't need any damn crutches."

Needless to say, Sparky was back on his feet literally in the blink of an eye, staring at her hopefully.
Guardromon, meanwhile, soon rebooted, blinking and groaning as it - or rather, she, if the voice change was any indication - came to. "Was it REALLY necessary to ********' reboot me?" She muttered.
FanBeemon stared blankly a moment at Guardromon before abruptly turning to the other two Digimon. "Did either of you two know Guardromon was female?" he asked; they'd actually assumed Guardromon was a 'he' because her original voice was gender-neutral and she tended to act rather masculine... but then again, that probably had something to do with most of her personality being buried under a great big pile of shitty programming.

(Well, do keep in mind that we don't know what it's weak against. For all we know, it might be weak against Normal-types. xd All Serebii says is that it's strong against Dragon-types... we don't know anything else except what I just told you.)

Hyokomon nodded and began scurrying again, leading the others to their destination.

Leo sighed, finally conceding defeat. "Fine... but as soon as I get better, we are burning that crutch, okay?"

"Not redone it... I was just smoothing out some of the more poorly written lines of code in there and taking away some of the more unnecessary bits of data in there," Sparky insisted, though he nevertheless took Evelyn's hand.
FanBeemon then turned to Guardromon, staring blankly. "So... you're a girl? Exactly why didn't you say so before now?"
Guardromon glared before whacking the bee upside the head. "Because, dumbass, firstly it didn't really matter since female Machine digimon don't have the damn biology most girls do, and secondly I didn't feel like putting up with you ******** flirting, since you'd flirt with FangLongmon if he turned into a girl!"
"Okay, I get it already... why the foul mouth though? You never talked like this before..."
"That's just because the shitty programming Sparky here removed before his girlfriend got him out of my damn systems involved censoring my vocal synthesizers; I was always a potty-mouth, it's just that I only now get to ******** show it. Now shut up so we can all get some ice cream." With that, Guardromon began following the others to the ice cream stand Evelyn had mentioned.

Soon the group reached the palace, which happened to be built into the mountainside... except...
"Odd... coulda sworn it was s'posed ta be newer-lookin'..." the immature chicken muttered in confusion, tilting his head and staring at the castle ruins.
Of course, the little guy was so deep in thought that he completely missed Seraphimon coming up behind them. "Why are you here?" the Digimon questioned coolly. "More importantly, how did you learn of this place?"

"I know that," Leo agreed, "but there is a very big difference between needing something and liking something." In a battlefield, showing weakness of any form was the equivalent of screaming 'big-a** target, right here, come and get it'. Nevertheless, he reluctantly took the crutches, getting the hang of them fairly quickly.

Jimmy nodded. "Sounds good to me. I think that one was in a forest, right?"

Seraphimon glanced over at Hyokomon, his expression unreadable... mostly because the helmet was in the way. "I see... very well then." He looked back over at Sandra. "You may have the Crest of Hope... provided that you allow the one known as Hyokomon to stay here for a while."

"True," Leo allowed grudgingly.
It was at that point that a commotion happened at the village gates, several cries of pain and fear easily heard even from where Leo's group was.
SaberLeomon whirled as Leomon rushed into view. "Leomon! What's going on?!?"
"There's an intruder... some sort of black knight... he's tearing through the Digimon that try to get in his way as if they were nothing... there's no deaths yet, but at this rate it's only a matter of time - "
Leomon broke off as the figure in question reached them, gazing calmly at the group assembled before him. "I see... so you are the ones known as the Digidestined, then? And the leader of this village as well..." He nodded to himself, seemingly ignoring the way the group was gearing up to fight, before pointing his lance at them. "I am ChaosGallantmon, knight of darkness. You are enemies of the Fallen. Prepare to die." There was no malice in the knight's statement, no hatred or arrogance... just a simple statement of fact.

Sparky smiled and nodded, similarly eating his ice cream. "Sounds good to me."
