Ritsuka went down stairs for some water only to find his mother downstairs waiting at the kitchen table. His eyes abruptly opened and went into the kitchen quietly. Without a word he went by his mother to get a drink. When he turned on the ball of his foot he met eyes with his insane mother. She slapped him, his head turned to the side as the mark where she'd hit him still stung. The woman hit him again digging her nails into his arms.

She yelled his name screaming qustions about where her son was. He was crying as his glass dropped to the floor tears hittng the ground. Nothing new---he thought---I just ahve to except it. Her cold eyes glared down on his as she walked out of the room and back upstairs. Her temper eased and her rage subsided as he collected himself. Blood trickled down his arms as he scrambled up to the bathroom to fix himself up.

He needed to get out of this house for a while. The youth wondered where he'd go. Yuiko's? Yayoi's? Then the thought struck him as he took some painkillers. Soubi's home, hopefully he was still awake. Ritsuka bandaged his arms and placed a bandage over his cheek as he sipped at the water form the sink.

Yes he could go to Soubi's. He grabbed a jacket not even pulling on his clothes. The young sacrifice exited the house, putting on some shoes before he went out to go to his fighter's residence.

Natsuo stopped trembling as Youji hugged his frame. Lost in thought, he pondered ways he could escape this world if Youji never loved him. An emerald hue widened when he was snapped out of the brief trance by Youji's demanding voice. Like Seimei and Ritsuka's ability to punish Soubi, the green-haired boy could punish his warcraft whenever, however, and for whatever reason. In addition, Youji could always call on Nagisa-sensei to hurt Natsuo in ways that didn't concern the physical pain he could not feel. It was only because Natsuo hardly ever dared disobey him and because of Youji's leniency that he hadn't been punished often.
Tail and ears drooping considerably, Natsuo felt rather ashamed and apologetic at his insensitive comment. He hadn't meant to worry him! "I'm sorry, Youji," he murmured. When the other's eyes welled with those rare droplets of water-- tears-- Natsuo slipped a hand about his sacrifice's waist and pulled him close so that their hips were barely touching. Pressing his forehead against the other's, he forced those golden eyes to look into his jade one. "Ji-chan," he whispered, voice suddenly quite serious, "I will never leave you. Never. The only time I'll leave you alone is if you order me to go. I promise." In his heart, Natsuo knew there might come a day when Youji actually told him to leave and he wouldn't have a choice. If that day ever came, he would know a very different kind of pain. For sure.

Soubi's actions seemed strange to the younger warcraft. It seemed as if Soubi had given up trying to get Ritsuka to love him. This was unbecoming of a fighter to seem so weak in front of another when his sacrifice wasn't nearby. It left Soubi too vulnerable. Alas, Natsuo wouldn't've tried anything; he was far too tired. As the dirty blonde dropped the last part of his sentence, Natsuo missed the key part pertaining to Seimei. "Stop moping, Soubi-kun! I've known Youji for nearly six years. All my life I know I've loved him. Even if Loveless is..." he glanced at Youji and resisted the strong urge to say 'kawaii', "Even if Loveless is supposed to love Loveless, he might come around, ne?" It was the most comforting response Natsuo was able to give as a Zero. He wasn't the type to feel compassion for anyone but his soulmate, but he was attempting to stretch. In his mind, he tried to justify the action, 'Besides, Soubi's so boring when he acts sad. Who wants to fight someone so angsty?!'

Soubi smiled gently. He assumed that that was as much concern as the young Zero could feel and show, so even though his words were a bit ignorant, he felt touched by the youger Fighter's attempt at helping. Though, he couldn't help but feel jealous at his conversation with Youji. He wished Ritsuka would care for him in such a mannor; worry about him if death was ever brought up. But he knew that the Sacrifice probably didn't. At the thought of him being hurt, he did seem to get concerned and commanded that he back down or wait for assistance but he assumed it was because the boy was a caring person to most everyone he met and grew used to. Yes, Soubi was sure it wasn't love. This brought him deeper into his usually hidden depression.
Chuckling wryly, he brushed back his long bangs and ran a hand through his held-up hair. Fighters weren't supposed to give up. They weren't supposed top be so ungrateful. Soubi knew he should have been overjoyed that his young Sacrifice gave him the time of day. It was way too much to want his love. 'Perhaps what they say is right. I should have died with Seimei. Now, i'm not fit to be a Fighter; I'm not fit to take Loveless from his rightful warcraft...' He idly wondered why he was angsting so much. He had lived long without love and was used to it. He knew he should have just been happy for the Fighters and Sacrifices who had their bond and eachother's love. Jealousy wasn't to be permitted.
He'd had a bond before, with Seimei. But the Sacrifice hadn't cared about him. He had ordered him like a dog and had hurt him when he overstood his boundries. This was to be expected. Soubi had been trained to deal with that, and so he had. But now that Ritsuka had come bearing kindness, Soubi began to need and want. Perhaps it would be better if Ritsuka assumed the position Seimei had had with him; Master.
His hand idly went up to touch his bandaged neck and he turned, glancing ahead at the other two. Yes, he would just have to make sure Ritsuka knew what he was supposed to do. He would have to make sure he was once again with a Master. It was the only way he could stop this horrible needing. Perhaps if he did something to displease his Sacrifice, he'd finally punish him...

"I suppose it is possible that Ritsuka will choose me over Loveless. But I wouldn't want to steal him away from his Fighter, now would I?" He asked, smiling to cover up his thoughts.
After a moment, he began walking back to his studio. "I think i'm going to go work on my painting," He announced quietly, intent on finishing his all-nighter with his canvas, brush, and thoughts.

Golden hues smiled softly as he stared into his partenr's single emerald one. He smiled as he was reassured that h would never be left. Youji knew he could punish the other, but he never dared to. A slap across the wrist was no way he'd treat his love. Natsuo was his fighter and his only love. Why would he ever want to hurt such a such person, such a soul as his? He'd never hurt Tsun-chan, ever.

Not coming across such a thought, the other youth's pain was his own, they were bonded by more then their name now. They were bonded by ther compassion for one another, something that could never be simply taken away. The pale green tresses fell as his forehead pressed against his warcraft's. "I know, and I would never wish you away. I want you by my side always." He whispered back softly his ears twitched a bit atop his head; the tail of an equally pale green hue swayed behind him as he was held so close to the other. "Daisuki da yo Tsun-chan..."

It pained him to hear the other's words, even though he wouldn't command such a thing; thus it hurt to think the other thought that way. Youji leaned up to kiss Natsuo's lips gently and passionately.

Soubi's weakness was dually noticed by the other boy as he smirked. He admired the few but sincerely kind as they'd get words from the other fighter. He smirked as he nodded agreeing wih Natsuo. But he didn't have any kind words that Tsun-chan hadn't said already. He too couldn't be as compassionate to anyone else but his partner, Natsuo.

Ritsuka scrambled away from the house without a word to his mother. She'd thrash at him again for escaping in the night again. But it was ok, as long as he got out at that moment. He thought to himself as he walked the dark streets towards Soubi's place. She's end up going too far one day, then he'd get his wish to wake up from his everlasting dream.

He wasn't sure of anything and for that matter anyone. Ritska knew he had friend and even the whole fighter, sacrifice thing on his side; but wasn't it too good to be true? Maybe if he passed he'd become that old Ritsuka that mom was talking about. And maybe he'd have Seimei back. He smirkd to himself. Like that'd happen. And what if it wasn't a dream? He'd end up just being dead, who it all start over again or just restart? Wondering as he idly walked, thought finally getting to the fighter's home he rang the door bell. His body was shuddering and his black locks fell to the sides of his face.

His cheek was still red and the bandage was slightly red, from the blood it sucked up due to the scratch of the woman's nails. When would his nightmare stop? When would his mother forgive him and accept the Ritsuka of now? A hopeless thought, she'd never accept him. He shook his head a a sneeze left his lips. It was freezing outside, he needed more then what he had on, but he could care less. The cold of the night numbed his body slightly, numbing ths stinging of th wounds from his mother's previous, and most current blow out.

Reaching the other's house he felt Soubi's eyes upon him immediately, even though he was yet to come to the door he could feel them. What would he say to the warcraft when he asked about his reasons, his bandages, and his expression? Maybe, he thought to himself, maybe I shouldn't of come. I worry him so much with my own pitiful life. He says he would always be there for him because he as his Fighter. But what was a fighter?

The youth wondered to himself, did Soubi care for him beyond the position of a fighter, or a slave of some sorts? If that's why he card he didn't need his care. He was about to turn away but remembered he'd already rang the bell. Ritsuka lowered his head as he turned from the door ready to take off into the night. Who needed false affection? False words of comfort?

Thinking on it now, he was confused with Soubi's words....the word love. Foreign and strange to him even between himself and his brother. Not even his psychratrist could give him a clear plain and understandable answer. And for a 6 th grader like this one, his life was only filled more by these damned complications.

{This one's more lengthy! (Guminasen Sona! crying I'll try harder next time xp ) I used thought alot tell meh what ya think please and thank you<3 Time to go to bed! Nighty!}

At the sound of the door bell, Soubi paused in his harsh stroke and allowed the abused paintbrush to fall from his fingers, falling to the floor only to leave a stain. Tears danced in his eyes, slightly blinding him to the odd splatter and brush strokes in the middle of his painting. He rubbed at his blue eyes and pushed his glasses up onto his head so he could wipe the tears away. He waited a moment, seeing if the Zero pair would answer the door. Though, he seemed to grow tired of waiting and emerged from his room and into hall where he went to open the door. He did so while looking rather miserable. His hair was pulled into a messy pony-tail, his glasses at the top of his head. Also, his once-white shirt was stained with an angry red, as well at his pants. His cheeks were slightly puffy and tear-streaked, though the red paint hid them a bit since it also graced his face.
"Ne..." He murmured before allowing his sorrow-filled gaze to land on his Sacrifice. At the sight of him, he blinked and gripped the door frame. The poor boy looked awefull, though he didn't make out the abuse too quickly. "Rituska...what are you doing here?" He whispered, voice harsh to show off his previous tears.

Ritsuka gave a weak smile as he turned to Soubi. "Sorry Soubi." He said sincerely, he was sorry; for even coming here. Worrying him again, the way he sounded didn't even sound welcoming. He half smiled to reassure nothing was wrong. "Can I come in?" His voice wouldn't stop it's light tremble though he did try to hide it he failed horribly. Though hoefully that smile would help the other see he was 'alright', and that 'nothing' was wrong. "I-I just wanted to get away from my house for a while...my mother----she...had to leave for work."

He made up a lie. But it was hard to lie, he was honest most of the time. He had never lied to Soubi before, but if he stopped him from going into a panic or worry he'd have to forgive him for lying to him, right? "I-is it ok if I stay here until school?" He asked pasting on a smile, even if his cheek stung from straining the muscles in his cheeks. The small sacrifice twiddled with his fingers as his black tail swayed behind him. His jacket was half way thrown on---he had been in a rush---and the only thing he really couldn't hid with bandages were the bruised from the earlier fight with her after school.

She had tried to strangle him, but the door bell rang bringing Ritsuka a chance to escape to his room. God he wished he knew when he'd escape forever---when he'd be able to stop looking from the corner of his eye, at his own household.

"Of course," Soubi replied, reaching out his hand to tenderly pull the boy inside. He resisted the urge to embrace him, and instead silently led him to his room. He sat the boy upon his bed and knelt in front of him. This was when he allowed his eyes to take in the full extent of his Sacrifice's wounds.

"Oh, Ritsuka..." He murmured, his hand reaching out to trace a small dribble of blood on his neck. "What happened to you this time?" He asked, looking up into the boy's face. He didn't wait for an answer, before pulling the boy into a gentle embrace. "If anything is wrong, please tell me. I'm your Fighter. You are supposed to be able to trust me, Ritsuka."

The man decided to put his own problems on hold. Ritsuka was much more important than his petty feelings anyway. So, he gently stroked the boy's hair and thought of what he would do for him.
He decided on getting his first aid kit and patching him up. Of course, Ritsuka would be staying and he would allow him a small nap in his bed. Soubi knew this was the least he could do for his Sacrifice, and his whole beeing wanted to do much more. He truely loved the boy and couldn't stand to see him in pain. The sight of him covered so hastilly in bandanges brought more tears to his eyes but he kept them at bay, not wanting to worry the boy while he was in such a state.

Natsuo couldn't stop the small smile that painted his lips. It wasn't a smirk or a grin; it was a genuine smile-- one he would reserve only for the beautiful boy in front of him. Those three words he had longed to hear: Daisuki da yo. I love you. He would never tire hearing those words! When Youji leaned up to kiss his lips, he gladly accepted his sacrifice's gentle, passionate kiss and returned it tenderly. "You know I love you, Ji-chan," he murmured softly.

As the doorbell rang, Natsuo turned to stare at the closed door. He would let Soubi get his own door. After all, the visitor was of no consequence to him unless it was Nagisa- sensei. Focusing the jade orb back on Youji, Natsuo toyed with the hem of the other's shirt and leaned in to whisper in the other's ear. "Are you tired at all, Ji-chan?" he whispered, "Do you want to lie down... together... and sleep?" In truth, Natsuo was exhausted. He felt as though he might collapse if Youji didn't order him to sleep soon. He kissed his sacrifice's ear.

Ritsuka's small figure flinched slightly at the other's touch, it hurt. As he was pulled into the room he noticed the other pair standing in the middle of the room with one another. He wondered quietly to himself---so that's love? As he entered Soubi's room he thanked him in asoft whisper sitting on the bed. Violet hues stared at his fighter with another smile, "Eh...it's nothing really---" You liar, he thought to himself, he really didn't want to worry his warcraft again, but those words he had spoke broke him of his silence. Enjoying the warmth from the embrace he began to reply. "My- my mother, she and I had a fight, it's not really a big deal." The young sacrifice spoke timidly, sneaking a a little lie at the end. He still worried for Soubi, he hated to be worried over so he tried dressing the matter up to make it look a little better then it really was.

Looking around-noticing Soubi had left to get a first aid kit-he spoke in a gentle whisper, "So this is what his room looks like..." He smiled a bit noticng the painting, standing to go over towards it. Tilting his head a bit he noticed the red paint splashed and stroked into the painting. Soubi had so much talent. Wandering what emotions poured from this painting bewildered the youth. Though he had a small idea of what may have gone into it, even so he admired the work.

Looking around a bit more he noticed a mirror and looked to his neck sighing heavily. Maybe he should of taken more time to bandage himself, then he wouldn't of had Soubi rushing around like this. "Suminasen Soubi..."He spoke so that the older male could hear him. A straying mindwandered to what his mother was doing and what she'd do or say again when he came home that afternoon.

As soon as the words were spoken, Soubi came walking back into the room. In his hands was the small, white, tin box with the red cross he'd gathered from the bathroom in the hall. It hadn't been too hard finding it, because of the fact that he needed to use it's contents on a continual basis.
He either ignored the boy's words, or hadn't heard them because as soon as he walked into the room, he placed the box upon his bed and opened it. Flipping through the items to make sure he had everything he would need, Soubi raised a hand and made a motion to summon the boy closer.

"Here, Ritsuka. Let me help you with that." His voice was better now, and his eyes weren't pink anymore. While in the bathroom he'd taken a moment to compose himself as to not make the poor boy worry for him. "When i'm done with you're wounds, you can take a small nap on my bed until school starts. I'll take you there too." While he said this, the man glanced back into his kit and began taking out the gauze and bandages as well as disinfectant.

Youji smiled his eyes caught the other sacrifice enter the house, though the expression changed when he saw the hasty work the boy had done on himself to try and cover up his current wounds. A soft sigh left his lips, knowing that Loveless's fighter would handle it. Returning his gaze back to Natsuo his ears perked as a smile cracked across the youth's face.

He giggled as his hands brushed against the fighter's face gently; admiring the beautiful smile Natsuo saved only for him. "And I love your smile too...Tsun-chan." He stated lovingly to the red head. The ears atop his head twitched as he heard them once more, I love you. Though the Zero sacrifice knew this very well and only truly needed to hear it once, he loved th sound of those words flowing like a sweet melody through his ears. A warmth inside him grew each time he heard them and would never get worn out from hearing them.

"Hai, I know Tsun-chan." Youji's lips let the words escape in a tenderly sincere tone. Leaning in to lay his head on the other's chest he purred nuzzling him. Noticing Natsuo's fatigue he giggled and pressed his lips on his cheek nodding. "Yeah, lt's get some sleep Tsun-chan." Youji smiled again as he parted from the other to get into bed.

The bed offered to them was in a room near the kitchen so they didn't have far to travel. The mischievous little sacrifice peeked from the doorway to call the other. "Come on, Tsun-chan." Waiting for the other Zero member to come to bed he sat down to take off his shoes and such.

Ritsuka sighed as he came back over to the bed to sit and be bandaged up again. Hating to sit still he began to talk to the other, trying to preoccupy his restlessness. "Hey, Soubi?" He questioned to get the other's attention."

His eyes looked over to the painting not too far off from them. "Is that the painting you wer talking about?" The small sacrifice questioned smiling. "It's very good..." Whispered words spoke concerning the painting, wincing at the sting of the disinfectant. "Eh...~" He bit his lip gently feeling the medicine working on his fresh wounds.

{Sorry that it's soo short><}

[[It's ok!]]

Natsuo leaned his cheek into one of the caressing hands, letting his lips brush over the other's palm lightly. He couldn't help but prolong his smile a little longer with the compliment Youji paid him. How lucky he was to have his Youji!

The auburn-haired warcraft felt relieved when Youji agreed that they could go to bed. It was getting so late! The other boy's affectionate actions seemed to send shivers through him and melt his heart at the same time. When Youji stepped away from his frame to go to their small room, a jade eye wandered over to Soubi's room. He could see the abused Ritsuka sitting on the side of the bed. Who would put such marks on such a cute boy? Natsuo frowned slightly. This wasn't good. An injured Ritsuka and depressed Soubi wouldn't make any fight interesting. Alas, Zero didn't have to fight them anymore. That would be Kouya's and Yamato's job now. Stupid girls...

The warcraft's attention wasn't distracted from Youji for long. Soubi probably saw him staring and would shut the door... on top of that, he heard his own sacrifice calling him. Natsuo turned away from Loveless and his disconnected fighter and walked toward the room he shared with Youji. "Hai, I'm here, Ji-chan," he replied, approaching the bed. He discarded his shirt on the ground and slipped off his shoes, casting them to the side. He kept his back facing away from Youji on purpose. Nagisa used to 'whip the pain out of him' when he was younger. Like his hands, Natsuo wasn't particularly fond of that part of him. Pulling out a long red nightshirt, he slipped it over his head so it draped loosely from his shoulders and removed his pants. Of course, he was sufficiently covered up with the night shirt that reached down to his knees. Pulling out a similar nightshirt from amongst the things Soubi had got for them to use, he brought it over to Youji. "Do you want any help, Ji-chan? Or should I just go and brush my teeth?"

Youji giggled as he waited at the door, stepping back as the other came into the room. He'd watch the other iwht a small smile on those thin lips and giggled. Approaching the other he'd poke him in the stomach gently after the auburn haired head poked from the head of the nightshirt. "Tee hee." His smile widened as his ear twtched a bit, tail saywing behind his back playfully. Ears perked instantly as he was asked a question from the other fighter.

"Eh? Oh, hai!" The youth said brightly as he turned his back to the other a small hand lifting up his plae green tresses revealing a zipper. "I can't reach the zipper, Tsun-chan~" He groaned cursing his short arms. Ne, oh well, the offer was up and he gladly excepted tilting his head forward the nape of his neck shone the zipper meeting at the top of the shirt.

The small sacrifice awaited to be unzipped so that he too could get ready for bed and his little plan! Chuckling lightly at the thought it.
